Ebay Seller Is Not Responding

Ebay seller not responding?

I won an auction on ebay, only it was at the very last minute so I didnt see the description of it.
It was for a fourth gen ipod, with a crack(apparently) in the screen. I contacted the seller immediately after winning the auction, asking for a photo of the screen, as it only showed official apple pictures of the item.
The seller will not respond to me, I have asked for pictures, for him to cancel the transaction (i feel uncomfortable buying without pictures of the actual product and also buying from someone who wont respond to me)... he wont respond! According to his feedback he has bought Items since the third time i tried contacting him. It looks like he's buying items to repair the ipod I won!
Is there any way I can complain to ebay about this? What other actions are available to me regarding this?
I am very upset at his rude behavior, but I should have known better than to buy from someone with such low feedback and without reading the description.
I havent paid for it yet, so at least there's that, but I am trying to build up my reputation as a seller and I dont want any negative marks on my account!
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ebay seller not responding- what do I do?

so I bought an 80 proof bottle of Jim Beam from 1967 with the green bottle/fox collectors edition full, never openned from a seller on ebay on April 6th using buy it now. well the seller is new (which is stupid of me to even buy from someone with no feedback- I know this) and he put on the listing that he ships overnight and it will take no longer than 4 business days. yesterday made 4 business days so I emailed him, I've emailed him a total of 4 times. I checked to see if my payment cleared and it did in my paypal account but it says that my payment is unclaimed because the seller didn't set up a paypal account yet. I tried contacting ebay but they said there's nothing they can do. I bought this for my boyfriends birthday which is in 2 days and I'm really upset about it. btw, the seller never replied to my emails. what can I do???

Ebay - the seller owes me money but not responding...what should I do?

ebay's return policy is vague and defers return shipping costs between the seller and buyer. Paypal is more specific and states "If PayPal resolves the significantly not as described claim in favor of the buyer, the merchandise must be returned to the seller at the expense of the buyer." And, Paypal does not allow sellers to refund buyers for an amount higher than what the buyer originally paid (final price + shipping). So if the seller sends you a refund, it would be a separate Paypal transaction not related to the original purchase.

So if the guy CLEARLY states he would refund you return shipping, then he should honor his word (I say CLEARLY because one buyer swore up and down I said I would but my messages showed I never did). But if he doesn't, there's nothing you can do about it except give him a FACTUAL neg or neutral (flaming negs just make you look like a moron).

You should know, though, that legally no seller or retailer is obligated to pay for return shipping. I shop online all the time and it's been my experience that most retailers don't, and won't, pay return shipping because it's too expensive to staff, stock, sort, etc.

SIDENOTE: As a seller, I NEVER state I will refund return shipping although I have on rare occasion when it was clearly my fault. And, I will not refund a buyer for the difference if they chose to pay for higher cost shipping. I had one buyer pay over $4 to send an item Priority Mail to me when it was only $1.50 to ship First Class. So she got mad at me for refusing to pay her the extra $2.50. Sometimes you can't win no matter what.

Ebay item not received and seller not responding?

OK, here's what I can offer.

1. You paid with PayPal, so this is good for you.
2. You've given the seller 2 days to respond and they haven't, so open a Dispute for item not received. You can do all this in eBay.
3. The seller gets 4 days to decide if they want to send the item or refund you.
4. If they do neither, eBay will refund you automatically.

I'd also leave a Negative Feedback for the seller, especially since it's been 15 days since you paid for the item and you've heard nothing back from them.

But don't leave the Neg until AFTER the final outcome of this matter. Leaving a Neg now sometimes makes sellers even LESS willing to work with you to resolve the problem.

Hope this helps.

Ebay seller won't respond to my emails?

I say wait a few days more. If all else fails, you can always call the seller. Thats what I do when I can't get in touch with them through messages or emails. To do that go to your my ebay page, click on "advanced search" next to the search bar and on the lower left corner click on "find contact information", then ebay will send you the sellers phone number and you can call him/her. If this doesn't solve the problem, you should open a case against the seller if you don't receive your ps3 and ebay is pretty good with this kinds of situation, and gives you a full refund if you win the case.

My eBay seller hasn’t shipped my item and isn’t responding to me. What should I do?

Contact the seller through eBay kindly asking them to send your merchandise. Do that once or twice. When they don’t respond to that go the the eBay help screen and select your situation from a drop down menu or type in you problem. eBay will then act on your behalf requesting the seller ship the merchandise or refund your $$. I was dealing with a difficult seller who it was apparent did not have the merchandise she was offering for sale She NEVER responded to any of the 4 or so emails I sent to her. Finally got eBay involved and I think I had a full refund within ~4 days.

Opened dispute on paypal, seller not responding; what happens?

If the item that you purchased is covered by the Paypal Protection Plan, and the seller doesn't respond, you'll receive a full refund back including any shipping charges. There are only certain items that are eligible (most are though), so if you look at the bottom of the auction usually, you'll see an area that indicates if the item's covered by the plan. Paypal usually gives the seller around 10 days to respond, and typically, if the seller doesn't respond within that time frame, and you've provided enough supporting evidence, you'll win the dispute. Make sure that you keep up with any tracking information that was provided, insurance purchase information for an item in case the seller does respond and indicate that insurance should have been purchased, any email correspondence that was submitted between you and the seller, etc. Paypal may request that information. If it is requested, ensure that you respond promptly so that things can be over quickly. Getting the actual refund if Paypal has to refund it can take up to 30 days, so you just have to be patient and wait it out. If the seller hasn't responded by now, then he/she probably won't. Keep checking the seller's feedback and make sure that he/she hasn't been leaving feedback for others or try to determine if there has been activity on the account since your transaction, and you'll know if this person is simply avoiding your emails.

Ebay seller isn't responding to my question!?

I have been offered to pick up an item from a seller, but they require me to pay for the postage as well as the price i won the auction for!? I sent a message to the seller and told them im not going to pay the postage as well if im picking up, but its been 3 days since i have sent the message, i havent paid for it yet and the seller hasn't resonded, what should i do?

Ebay: Seller provides wrong tracking number, does not respond to messages and item has not been delivered. I need the item immediately. What do I do?

How do you know the tracking is wrong?   Because the zip might not match or something?  I notice that updates to tracking are more delayed then usual.I don't think that you can get around waiting a reasonable amount of time to wait on the item.   Once shipped the seller cannot make it arrive faster.   I might avoid you as well since seller can only provide lip-service as to possible delay.  This idea of needing something immediate suggests that your expectations are on low side of delivery time-frame.  USPS has not been doing so well in those regards.   It looks to me that too many times they overwrite the original delivery estimate and stamp it delayed... oh well.   Seems like the closing of sorting facilities last year has finally done some damage.  First class estimates are changed from 3-5 to 4-5 and some statistics show that USPS is missing Service Objective greater then 50% of time for across country mail. That notwithstanding, a scam seller can mine for valid tracking numbers or re-use an old one.  I doubt such an individual can last long on ebay without self destructing.  If you know the tracking is bad but shows on system then don't waste your time filing not receipt claim.  Only bots read what is entered in assistance wizards.  You would lose by default if there is valid tracking on paypal.   Your would have to call ebay/paypal to explain how you know tracking is not valid.  I think you would prevail if the tracking was just fake but you would have to keep rejecting the resolution until a human will look at it.
