Ebay Ways To Pay Confused. Help

Help!!! Overdue ebay invoice, how to pay?

It's okay! Calm down! :)
Every time I have to go pay my eBay invoices, I get confused, too. They don't make their payment system very user friendly! Here are the ways you can pay:

PayPal
Your amount due will automatically be deducted from the PayPal account that you select for automatic payments.

Automatic credit card payments
We’ll automatically charge your fees directly to the credit card you place on file (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover Card). Your credit card is usually charged five to seven days after you receive your invoice.

Direct pay from your checking account
We’ll automatically deduct your seller fees from your checking account on the same day each month.

One-time payment
Even if you have scheduled automatic payments, you can make a one-time payment using Direct Pay, a credit card, or your PayPal account. It’s best to make one-time payments at least 5 days before the scheduled automatic payment to avoid duplicate payments.

If you don’t pay your seller fees, your account could be suspended. If your account has been suspended, find out how to reinstate your account in eBay's help section.
(I copied the above portion directly from the eBay help website.)

Your payment due date is based on your billing cycle date.

If your billing date is on the 15th of the month, your payment is due by the 15th of the following month.

If your billing date is on the last day of the month, your payment is due by the last day of the following month.

HERE IS HOW TO ACTUALLY PAY YOUR FEES:
1. Go to My eBay.
2. At the top of your screen, there are 3 tabs. The one that you are viewing by default is "Activity". Click on the "Account" tab.
3. This will take you to a summary of your account. Towards the middle of the screen, there is a link that says "You can make a one-time payment using PayPal or another payment method." There is a link in this sentence that will take you to the payment screen.
4. On this screen, you can type in how much you want to pay, and click "Pay with PayPal," or underneath "choose another payment method:
Make a Direct Pay payment
Pay with your credit card".

I'm glad I'm not the only one who couldn't find any of this stuff.
Have fun on eBay!

I'm so confused, ebay question! First time user!?

So, i've sold an item on ebay. The person bought it in another country! I live in the U.S. I'm not expected to pay for all this sihpping myself, am i?? Also, the person asked me how much the shipping cost would be...and I told them. What happens now? When do I ship this item?? It says i'm still waiting for a payment for an item that i have sold! What do I do.. please help as much as you can, i'll choose best answer!

This is what my ebay summary says:
Buyers have requested their payment total on 1 item.
Payment Reminder I am awaiting payment for 1 item.
Feedback Reminder I need to leave feedback for 1 item.
Second Chance Offer 1 item I sold is eligible for a Second Chance Offer.

And this is all just for that same item.

I'm confused. What exactly is Shopify? Is it similar to eBay where you sell your old stuff?

No, it’s not. eBay is a marketplace, where different sellers list their stuff, from old personal stuff to companies like Target listing their whole inventory. Shopify is an eCommerce platform, a tool to build your online store where only you will sell your own old stuff or compete with Target’s online store.

EBay Listing Removed after I paid for the item - help!?

Well, I don't have a PayPal account, I used the one time payment using Paypal. Anyway I don't know if it can be stopped now? It says he already got the payment.

How much does your first sale on eBay help you?

Your first eBay sale isn’t about making a fortune or quitting your day job.Instead, it’s about learning the eBay sales process and starting to build your knowledge of what works best. You start to see how the quality, number, and composition of photos make your sale happen. You start to learn how providing more detail, in a thorough, fully honest, and well written description gives buyers confidence in your product and builds trust in you. That first sale starts you on your way to understanding how setting the proper price encourages interest and builds bidding activity. When that first sale ends, you learn the value of communicating with your buyer to speed payment and increase satisfaction. And finally, you learn how to ship items effectively and efficiently. What boxes and packing materials will you need and what carriers are best for which kinds of items. That first sale is all about starting you down the road learning that if you treat your buyers like you would like to be treated yourself - with respect, attention to detail, and honesty, that this is going to be the first of many, many sales for you.

Can my friend pay for ebay item from his own paypal account?

All answers here are spot on. Do not pay using your friend's account. Not only can it cause some issues, chances of a limitation is high. When you pay with someone else's account, you can end up linking that account to your own eBay and PayPal will put a hold on your account. If you don't want to deal with the headaches of a limitation, do as others said. Have your friend pay you and then you make the payment for him.

Is there any way to unlink your Paypal and eBay accounts or make a payment on a different Paypal account?

This can be tricky. I used to work for PP and probably the best way to get the payment made is to just use the send money tab. This depends on the seller however as most large volume sellers will find it difficult to track your payment if you just send them money with the item number in the notes field.

Check with your seller to see if they are ok with accepting a payment like this BEFORE you send it.

As far as using another account. You can try to use the profile tab to remove your eBay account from your profile. (Profile tab, then Auction link). Once you remove it from your account, you can add it to your mom's for payment. However, if your mom already has an eBay account linked to her paypal account, she'll also have to remove it first.

Once this is all done, you'll need to switch back using the same steps as above.

If you need further help, you can call PayPal at 402-935-2050. If you have a business/premier account there is an 800 number. Click "contact us" at the bottom of any page, then click "help by phone" for the phone number and hours.

What does it mean on ebay "payment has been initiated and is being processed through paypal"?

√ The buyer is paying another way than with funds in his Paypal account.

Perhaps there wasn't enough in his account to make the purchase.
There is about a 5 day waiting period for the funds to get from his bank account to his Paypal account.
