How did the Mayan civilization start?
The Mayan calender is not a joke, but ideas formed have turned it into something it was never supposed to be. You know how we measure a day in 24hr periods? Well at the end of those 24hrs, the world does not end. We simply start another day. 2012 is the end of a cycle of measured time. That's all. No magic one way or another. In the Mexica calender, which uses the same counting process, we simply replace the ruling god. If you're familiar with what has become the"Aztec Calender" which is actually a sun stone, you will see the four previous gods surrounding the present Sun god. 2012 would change that and place a new time cycle with a new god.
Fear of beings with pale skin, dark, sunken eyes, elongated faces, and sharp teeth?
Many classic horror icons, such as Geger’s xenomorphs, Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head, and other disturbing creatures, share common characteristics. Pale skin, dark, sunken eyes, elongated faces, sharp teeth, and the like. These images inspire horror and revulsion in many, and with good reason. The characteristics shared by these faces are imprinted in the human mind. Many things frighten humans instinctively. The fear is natural, and does not need to be reinforced in order to terrify. The fears are species-wide, stemming from dark times in the past when lightning could mean the burning of your tree home, thunder could be the approaching gallops of a stampede, predators could hide in darkness, and heights could make poor footing lethal. The question you have to ask yourself is this: What happened, deep in the hidden eras before history began, that could effect the entire human race so evenly as to give the entire species a deep, instinctual, and lasting fear of pale beings with dark, sunken eyes, razor sharp teeth, and elongated faces? Any info would be much appreciated.

There was Joyce kim, Leslie Winkle.Sheldon- Notify the editors of the Oxford dictionary, the word plenty has been redefined to mean two.Sheldon- You can't leave. Legally they cannot use real marijuana on camera. By law they have to use another smokable legal substance. The same is true for alcohol. They can represent alcohol consumption, but not show actual alcohol being consumed. Beer is usually water and apple juice, whiskey and other brown liquor is usually tea of various strengths, dark rum is really cola or coffee.

You can also check udacity's nanodegree or Udacity's Artificial Intelligence course taught by Sebastian Tharun(sorry if I misspelled it). Besides that you can read books on AI. Artificial Intelligence :a modern approach, is a great book. Many people recommend it.For Machine LearningStart with Coursera’s machine learning course by Stanford university. It's really great place to start for beginners in ML. It will teachs you everything necessary to know about ML. After that learn how to use python for machine learning. Make some project using it because coding is only thing that matters a lot in ML or AI. If you want to learn mathematical proofs and want to dive into maths behind ML then go with YouTube serie of video lectures by Stanford. Note they are not for beginners.Beside it I would suggest to read lot of blogs on net. Use people's code to see how to implement algorithms. Learn how to code good AI,ML models and how to evaluate algorithms.After 3 months in ML, start to complete on Kaggle. It's really good place to learn new tricks in ML.
