Help...how can I make a hip Teen Elephant costume?
My daughter is 8 and we have been searching the internet and elsewhere for cute teen costumes. She really really wants to be an elephant but hates the sweat costumes with the clunky hoods....any ideas?? I got a gray dress...really cute...she plans to wear leggings and I am going to attempt to use felt to make ears to attach to a headband....but I want her to look cute? How do I attach the trunk?
How can you lift an elephant with one hand?
There is no such elephant that exists with one hand. If seen in a smart way. It's no where specified that the one hand which he's saying about has to be yours.(I have seen this question at some other place too and have written what I too have read :)..but its an interesting way to explain this)

Halloween Costume for my pet rat?
Many rat-keepers seem to be good with the sewing machine and the ability to work with tiny pieces of material. I'm not one of them. Halloween and Christmas seems to be the times of the year that brings out the most imaginative costumes. You dress in a rat costume and put doll diaper on her. You are mama rat and she's your baby. Because rats are dog-like there's no reason why you can't have fun with your rats and put them in custumes every once in awhile, even if it's only for a few minutes. No harm cames to rats wearing these costumes, they don't chew their clothes to pieces because they are supervized. When taking your rat out in public do not let her interact with other rats to avoid spreading disease. Take along a comfy carrying cage where she can relax and chill out when she's not on display, and don't leave her away from the comforts of home for more then a couple of hours to avoid getting her overly stressed. If your party is outside be aware of predatory birds, like owls, swooping down and snatching her off your shoulder. And for goodness sake, have fun. spazrats "my life has gone to the rats"

Costumes for horse and rider?
I entered a costume contest dressed as a gypsy, I was on an Arab that I put a veil on and hung various fabrics on, I also put jingle bell anklets on his feet so he "tinkled" when he moved. We won our class, but I understand that not a lot of horses will tolerate a veil, draped fabrics, and/or anklets.. soo it's just an idea :)
