Elephants Are Being Moved From Kruger National Park To The Western Cape. They Are Loaded Into

Elephants are being moved from Kruger national park to the Western Cape. They are loaded into containers that are pulled up a ramp inclined?

Elephants are being moved from Kruger national park to the Western Cape. They are loaded into containers that are pulled up a ramp inclined at 15 degrees to the ground. The container is held stationary on the ramp by means of a rope parallel to the ramp. The tension in the rope is 5000N. Friction is ignored.

1.) Name one force other than the tension that acts on the container.
2.) Draw a vector diagram that represents the forces acting on the container.
Label each force and show at least 2 angles
3.) If the container has a mass of 800 kg, calculate the mass of the elephant
4.) The container is now pulled up the ramp at constant speed. How does this affect the forces acting on the container and elephant? Explain you answer

What wildlife do you encounter around where you live?

Despite living in the third largest city in the US, I get a lot of wildlife in my yard. These are all the things I’ve seen in my yard over the years:Squirrels. I’m looking at one through my window right now actually. They mind their own business.Raccoons. A family of them lives in a tree in my backyard. If you encounter them, they just kind of stare at you and wait for you to leave them alone.Possums. Frequent visitors. I often think they’re stray cats until they get close. They will hiss at you if they get scared.Skunks. If I leave my house just before dawn, I’m almost guaranteed to see one of these. Just leave them alone and everyone’s happy. The worst is when someone runs over one. The smell lingers for weeks.Deer. These are city deer that aren’t too afraid of people.Coyote. I only saw one of these once. It was after a big storm. They live near the river. I live a little further away from the river. I believe they just got pushed out from their normal habitat a little that day.Brown Bats. I had to kill one of these with a shovel once, because it was hanging just above my door for a few days and I thought it was dead. It wasn’t. So it must have been sick. So I smashed it. They’re smaller than you might think. The one at my house was like a small mouse with wings.Field Mice. Sometimes these get into the house. Glue traps work best when this happens.Surprisingly, I’ve never seen a rat in my neighborhood. I’ve seen them in Chicago, but not around here. I’m sure they’re around here. I’ve just never seen one.Birds. Lots of kinds of birds and I don’t know how to identify them all. I just know that the small ones are finches, the red ones are male cardinals, and the ones that are red on the bottom and brown on the top are robins. There are turtles and small snakes near the river, but I’ve never seen one in my yard. The cold Chicago winters keep the reptiles to a minimum.Stray cats don’t count as wildlife, but there’s a lot of those around here too.

Which countries should I visit in Africa? Why?

In 1973, I drove from UK to Cape Town in a Land Rover, visiting 23 countries, but that was still a minority of the countries of Africa.. I saw nothing of the West African countries and only Morocco and Algeria of the North African Arab countries. In the average person’s perception of Africa, it is either the equatorial jungle of central Africa or wooded savannah of East Africa or both. I spent 3 months on my trip but if time is limited then I recommend to visit the Ngorongoro Conservation area, which actually is adjacent to the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. In the local language ‘ngoro’ means ‘hole’ and so ‘ngorongoro’ means literally ‘holehole’, which means in turn that the hole is very big. In fact, it is an extinct volcano about 15 miles in diameter, The rim of the volcano is about 3000 feet above the basin area within the rim. A mini game park of about 700 square miles has evolved in the crater. There are other remarkable African areas well worth visiting, for example, 3000 miles from Ngorongoro is the Okavango Delta in Botswana. This is where the Okavango river, which has its source somewhere in the Congo area of equatorial Africa and flows South but it never reaches the sea, like most rivers. Instead it terminates in the Kalahari desert, where the water spreads out to form a swamp , which is massively rich in African wildlife. There are many nice places to visit but the two examples given above stand large in my memories. I was in Rwanda in 1973 and what a green and pleasant land it was, It is a shame the murderous atrocities took place there 20 years later. My information is now out of date and I have no idea what Rwanda is like at the moment.Have a good trip.
