Definitely i find shy girls more unique and a bit more challenging to be with. Most guys don't end up dating a shy girl because they're sort of confusing and don't let out a lot of emotions or feelings towards another. I have found it harder to get to know a shy girl because most of them don't like to mess around in a relationship so they choose who to talk to wisely and if one is worthy, they try to get more comfortable with them. In my experience shy girls are unique even though and when they open up, its great.

from my experience dating a couple of guys and having lots of guys friends, i know that guys prefer confident girls. there is a different between shy and quiet. quiet girls are just quiet when they meet new people but once they are comfortable then they start to talk a lot and hold the conversation down. guys find shy girls cute because they think they are innocent, mysterious and there's more to them than meets the eye but really in the long run guys prefer confident girls and they are more they notice confident girls more. i am a very confident girl and i have always had guys attention and guys like girls who out-spoken, opinionated, confident, outgoing, friendly, talkative and can keep the conversation flowing and in general nobody likes talking to somebody who is shy because it's like talking to a brick wall and also a lot of people think shy people are rude and stuck up. my advice to you would be yourself and when the right guy comes along he will love you for who you are. good luck xoxo
