How do you make folders to organize your e-mail in Mail for Windows 10?
Why the functionality is 'missing' in Mail for Windows 10 I am not sure. But it is missing. I had created all the folders I needed previous to upgrade so didn't realize this was an issue until you asked.Here is a 'fix' (actually more a work-around). Open a web browser, Edge will work just fine, and go to the MSN homepage. Ensure you are logged in. If you are using a MSA it will usually do this automatically but if you see a "Sign-in" link in the upper right then do sign in. Once you do this click the Outlook icon in the top of the webpage. This will open your Outlook for Web. If you look at the list of folders to the left at the very bottom is a link, highlighted in blue, labeled "New Folder", just click that link and create your new folder where you want it.Now open, or synch, the Mail app and the folder will appear in the folders area on the left.Hopefully the next Mail app update will address this absence.

Can't delete folders in Yahoo Mail without error.?
Hi. For the past 2 days I've been trying to delete a couple of folders in my Yahoo Mail account, but get an error message: We hit a technical glitch Please try reloading the page in a few minutes. Error 14. Does anyone know what is happening? I didn't have any emails in the folders so it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks, Neil
Old emails are missing in my Yahoo Mail's inbox?
The only messages appearing in my yahoo mail inbox are from this year and last year, but there should be a lot more since I have been a customer for 10 years. But the old messages are not deleted, since I can still access them from the folders when they are in a folder. Example: the oldest message in my inbox is from 2009. But in folders I have messages from 2001.
In the new version of Yahoo Mail the "save draft" option is missing, how can you get it back?
Here is a "workaround". It takes some time and preparation, but it will serve as a working save draft mechanism in the interim. Compose your draft, and e-mail it to yourself, making sure to enable the "Save to sent messages" function. Use "Draft" as the first word in the message title to make it easier to spot. To continue work, highlight & copy the text, click "Compose", then paste the text to the composition field. Repeat the send & copy process for each draft modification, then give it the proper title and send it to the proper recipient when the message is all done. If you are working on or keeping multiple drafts at once, you can also go to your "Folders" section, create a new folder, and name it "Drafts", and move the drafted messages from your "Sent" box over to it. They can then be copied & pasted to the compose window for further work. An added bonus of this is that if you share your machine, it will allow you to conceal them from prying eyes or meddling fingers.

You are probably about to delete a huge amount of email, please be aware of what you are doing. Always backup your email before attempting to delete your email or any data for that matter. Thanks!This method is mainly for when you have a HUGE amount of emails and don’t feel like deleting them a hundred at a time.I’ll start with this illustration, and then talk a bit about it.Click to enlargeStep 1: Go to the Gmail search bar and enter in today’s date or the date you want your email deleted from. So if I want everything from today deleted I would enter:before:2015/05/22Meaning – delete everything before May 22, 2015.Step 2: Check the magic box. The key here is you will see a notification that says “All conversations in this search are selected.”This basically means all 10,000 emails are selected, not just the default 50 or 100 emails that you see on your screen.Step 2.5 Updated – In addition to checking the magic box, you now also need to click the link that says “All conversations that match this search.” Google added this extra step sometime in 2016 to make people think twice before selecting huge amounts of email to delete / move / archive / mark as spam etc.Step 3: Click the trash button. You will probably get a warning which you will need to affirm. Once that happens it might take a minute or two. I just deleted almost 10,000 emails and it took about 2 minutes.You might get a “still working” message while you wait.Other thoughts on mass deleting a lot of Gmail messages at onceYou can use this method to do a bunch of other stuff such as archive your email, mark it all read, mark it unread, or delete it.Please note that if you are using this method with a connected email + domain, this may or may not delete the email off your server depending on your mail server setup.You’ve been warned, but let me warn you again. Think before you hit that delete button, because you ain’t gettin’ those emails back.
