Employment with Mindtree or HCl?
If I understand you correctly based upon what you stated the benefit package i.e. health insurance, dental, tuition reimbursement (in case you want to return to college), vacation, etc. is exactly the same plus pay and hours worked per week. Then what about travel expenses which job has the longest commute which means wear and tear on car and you, gas etc. ? Secondly the location is one in a better neighbourhood where you feel safe? Then I would after considering the addl info I provided choose HCL with the higher level. Good Luck!!! .
HCL Vs Siemens (SISL) Vs Mindtree
Hi all, I am working at HCL Technologies for the past 10 months and I have been drawing a salary of Rs.4,00,000 PA. At present, I have an offer from Siemens (SISL) for Rs.5,00,000 and MindTree for Rs. 5,00,000. Please note that I had worked in 2 other companies before HCL and have over 3 years of Experience in total. Due to some problems, I planned to resign from HCLT even though I liked the Company. After I let know the management about my plans to resign they want me to stay back. They have hinted at an increment in pay along with a possible promotion - and they are quite serious about that. They would also be transferring me to another project. The nature of Job is almost similar in all the three companies. I am totally confused. Please advise.
How many employees are there in HCL Chennai?
HCL chennai is a massive beautiful campus. Campus is having almost every amenities including nap room for its employees,Gym, amazing cafeteria. Creche for children.Now coming to the question approx 20000 employees are working in chennai SEZ as per estimate.
I joined Mindtree 1 month back and want to abscond it due to bad management and the work. Also I have a better offer in a different company. What will be the consequences if I abscond or resign without serving the notice period?
Its not a good idea to abscond without serving a notice period in general. But in your case, you have been with mindtree for just a month, so incase if you abscond you won’t get the papers from mindtree. So don’t show it in your resume and when the employer asks about this 1 month gap, you can come up with a reason. However the big question is, in the resume that you have sent to the company from which you’ve got this job offer, have you mentioned about your current employment with mindtree. If yes, then you have no other choice except to put your papers and serve the notice period at mindtree and get the documents from them. Again your new employer or any future employer will surely question you about this one month stint at mindtree and it’ll be a big negative in your resume in the long run.So do think carefully before taking any action.
As a java developer got selected in mindtree, IBM, wipro, HCl. exp 5 year. Which company will be good?
Congrats for the offers you have!All theese companies fall under the same category (more or less). I would suggest you to go for the company which is paying you more. Still if you want to filter based on the companies, I would say, you can eliminate Mindtree and HCL (In the same order). Between IBM and Wipro, if you want a big brand name, then go for IBM. As an Ex-Wiproite, I can say, if you are joining as an experienced professional in Wipro, it is good. You will get a friendly environment there. But it depends on your manager and the project. At last I just want to add, choose wisely. All of these companies do same kind of work. If you already know about your project or domain in these companies, then it will be helpful for you to choose.

What does Mindtree have, for freshers, that other companies don't? Why should I do Mindtree with a two year bond? Why not Accenture or HCL or TCS?
Mindtree is midsize company ,with its success over a past few years was appreciable.Like any other Indian company, it has its own policies and work culture. Highlighted fact is it provides an excellent training for freshers in their domain. As I have joined here as a fresher I had been given the best to learn and code, being a student from non-IT branches I could learn things quickly and effectively .Since its mid size company you will have exposure to all kind of work and responsibilities ,with time you will excel in your skills with a platform provided like this.I think that spending your 2 year with company like Mindtree gives you excellence in what you will be in future.
Which company is better for a fresher, Mindtree or SLK software?
I've been part of Mindtree Ltd for past 3+ years. From whatever I've heard from my friends and colleagues, Mindtree's work culture is at par from others.Even the employees who've left Mindtree have only regretted their decision.With your experience, you should get good compensation at Mindtree and if you do get, then I would suggest you to blindly choose Mindtree over any other company.
