Empty Trash Folder Automatically

How can i get yahoo to NOT automatically delete my trash folder. I want to delete them manually always.?

Move them to another folder YOU create ... (You can even call it 'MY Trash'). Then you have copies just in case. We have absolutely no control over when Yahoo deletes the Trash. Copies might still be in Sent Mail if you have set that Option in your Profile. Save what you might need by moving them into a separate folder you create - they stay there until YOU decide to delete them, and you can delete many at one time too.
NOW . . . ACT FAST! You have just posted all your e-mail addresses online for many spammer programs to harvest or create malicious attacks. You will get oodles of spam from now on.
DELETE THIS QUESTION NOW! (No, I'm not yelling at you, just trying to save your addies.) If you let this question go to voting, these addresses will be search-able on the web forever. I'm offering advice, so I don't care about losing points for answering.

How to automatically forward some mails to a folder in Yahoo mail?

In Yahoo mail, is it possible to set all incoming mails of a specific email address to go to a specific folder?
To be more specific, I receive several mails from my school everyday, and there is a folder I created named "My school". How can I automatically forward all of my school's incoming mails to that folder?
Thanks.

Is there any way to delete Gmail trash emails automatically?

As the users keep accessing Gmail messages on a daily basis, they start deleting the unwanted messages that are of no use for them in short as well as long run. Once these messages are deleted, they get accumulated in the trash folder. With huge storage space available, no one actually thinks of deleting messages from trash. But it’s quite essential for those, whose storage limit is on the threshold of reaching the par limit. But many of the users have no idea in this regards when it comes to availing Gmail customer service. All we need to do is to click the link “Empty Trash Now” rather than ticking on checkbox alongside listed messages to delete all messages that gets accumulated in trash folder. In case you are not able to find the link upon clicking the trash folder listed in the left side bar, dial Gmail customer support number, if any available on the web to get immediate assistance from the experts.

Is there a way to automatically empty the entire trash folder in Google Voice?  Is there a script in iMacro (or another Firefox or Chrome compatible extension) or another way to automatically do this without having to click through hundreds of screens and clicking delete? Could someone please write a short one for me?

Take a look at this article: How to Delete More than 10 Google Voice Messages at a Time.  I've tested it out and it works pretty well using the Python utility pygooglevoice - Python Bindings for Google Voice "API" - Google Project Hosting. This project hasn't been updated in a few years so you'll need to download the source (easy_install -U pygooglevoice), unzip the .egg file to your site-packages folder and edit the files as documented in the article. One major problem with this package is that it does not work with 2-step authentication.  Also, I'm guessing that Google Voice will become obsolete soon, as Google is trying to push everything over to Hangouts. If you really wanted to use iMacro, you could always just record yourself deleting a few pages of trash, and run the macro a few times.  I'm sure there's also a way to put a loop in iMacro as well until all messages are deleted, I haven't used it too much to give a good answer on how to do this.Hope this helps.

Why does my mail that I put in trash automatically delete itself even if I don't empty it?

Yahoo's Trash folder is programmed to empty itself every few days, without any choice on your part. If you want to remove mail from the Inbox but be able to control the removal/deletion time yourself, create a new folder with an appropriate title like: Future Trash, Delete Later, Re-Read, My Junk and move the mails to be deleted later to this folder. Just remember to go back there occasionally to clear out the folder - mail can pile up there too!

My trash folder empties by itself can I set a time frame for it to empty?

Yahoo automatically empties the Trash folder every day or so, randomly (meaning whenever they want), and there is nothing you can do to change or stop that from happening.

The Trash is NOT for storage---it's for TRASH ONLY.
Anything you put into the Trash WILL be deleted at the discretion of Yahoo.

Personal folders are for storage---so make one (or more) and move emails into it (them) that you want to keep.

How will you empty the trash in HDFS?

The Hadoop trash feature helps prevent accidental deletion of files and directories. When you delete a file in HDFS, the file is not immediately expelled from HDFS. Deleted files are first moved to the /user//.Trash/Current directory, with their original filesystem path being preserved. After a user-configurable period of time (fs.trash.interval), a process known as trash checkpointing renames the Current directory to the current timestamp, that is, /user//.Trash/. The checkpointing process also checks the rest of the .Trash directory for any existing timestamp directories and removes them from HDFS permanently. You can restore files and directories in the trash simply by moving them to a location outside the .Trash directory.

How to retrieve email from trash after it is emptied?

Yahoo! Mail provides ways to retrieve deleted messages. In fact, whenever you delete a message from your inbox, it is automatically transferred to a "Trash" folder in case you need it again in the future. If there are emails in the trash folder, move them back to the inbox. In case your "Trash" folder is emptied, you can still recover deleted messages using Yahoo's "Restore" feature, with a note, deleted emails in your inbox has not exceeded 24 hours.
