Then just recently in Chapter 453 (hasn't been in anime yet) *SPOILER* Gray told Juvia that he will finally answer her question [whether or not he has romantic feelings for her] after the war ends. It's obvious that they're more than friends considering that Gray's father, Silver, gave his approval of Juvia and that they lived together for about a year during the time skip. It's just a matter of timing for Gray.

With his dragon slayer magic and E.N.D. curse power hidden along with the brash personality he has(adorable tbh), he is one of the strongest wizards in Fairy Tail world.On the other hand, our dear Erza has already earned the title of the strongest female wizard of Fairy Tail. She has the Requip magic which is a type of Transformation magic which enables her to Requip any kind of armour she wants.She has a varied range of armours with all sorts of magic be it lightning, water and yes, fire. The flame empress armour.Now as to answer why she is stronger, well till that episode at least and even now, Erza is smarter than Natsu. Natsu is way too impulsive while Erza doesn't wastes a single movement. Simply because of this she has an advantage over Natsu and is stronger than him.

Does Natsu, in Fairy Tail, die?
He died before the main story takes place (as seen in a flashback during the Alvarez Empire arc) which made Zeref revive him as E.N.D. (Etherious Natsu Dragneel) effectively becoming one of his many, many demons (along with Deliora, Kyouka, Mard Geer, etc.) without Natsu knowing it. As a demon though, he did not die yet as he is still seen in the last episode (and the movie) still alive and fighting to bring Fairy Tail back and restore it to it’s former glory (even without Makarov).
