Can someone find 3 specific instances where Barack Obama demonstrated leadership?
I feel this may be a loaded question from someone who wants to dislike Obama, but here goes…Everything about the Bin Laden raid and aftermath (the focus to go after him, the raid, the handling of the funeral/disposal).Not hiring his children to handle important political positions.Being faithful to his wife.Putting himself front and center to answer everything the Republicans had to say about ACA. That’s right: he attended a GOP conference to take questions about his policies! That, my friend, is leadership.Gracefully handling disingenuous, nearly treasonous opposition:Joe Wilson calling him a liar in the middle of State of the Union AddressTom Cotton et al writing a letter to Iran to obstruct the Iran dealContinually taking loaded questions from Republicans about everything - for ex, about the Iran deal:He never tried to gain political cache by vilifying others - like, I dunno…immigrants.He passed recovery act to pull us out of the worst recession in 50 years including bailing out the auto industries (when Republicans said this was a commie attempt to take over industry and that Obama would never let go - he did and the auto industry paid us back with interest).I didn’t love Obamacare but he got the ball rolling on addressing a problem that was and still is unsustainable.I could go on and on. I’m not saying that Obama was a perfect president - I’m a registered independent - I’ve tried to listen to anti Obama rhetoric and find merits. I just don’t see it. Both the liberal and conservative press underestimate how popular he was. 2 terms and he left office with a 60% approval, unemployment at 4.4%, zero personal scandals. That is leadership.
