Every Action I Make On The Internet Started Going 20 Times Slower Why

Why does my computer gradually slow down every time until I restart it?

I've Windows 7 running on a Dell XPS Studio 16 laptop I got a little over a year ago.
It has 4GB RAM, 2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, and a 512 MB ATI graphics card.

I completely formatted it twice and reinstalled everything to try to fix any slowing down issues.
However, my current problem lies in my usage of the internet.

I use Firefox, and when I restart my computer, it loads rather fast (not as fast as it used to but tolerable) then over time, typically just throughout the course of a day, it slows down to the point where I can never play videos, YouTube doesn't load, and pages take forever to load.

I have a Wireless N router with a compatible network card, and I've been fine in the past, so I don't believe it to be related to that, although I'm not 100% sure.

I run CCleaner almost every day, cleaning out my registry and trash files alike.

I don't have any programs running, so I'm lost as to what I can do now, does anyone have any tips?
I want to be able to stream videos comfortably throughout the day without having to restart my computer multiple times just for that 20-30 minute window of somewhat smooth performance before it starts bogging down again.

Thanks for any help.

Why does time feel like it goes faster as we get older?

There are several theories, I believe, that effect the concept of time:1.  When you are young, you are still learning. You read and write slower, your arithmetic is slower, you even "drive slower vehicles". Time inches by, minute by minute. As you get older, you begin to rush through everything, because you are experienced. You write faster, you drive faster cars, you pack your schedule more, because you can accomplish more in less time. Therefore, the older you get, the busier you get. Everyone knows that on a busier day, the day rushes by. When the schedule is sparse, people describe it as "a slow day". 2.  You never get what you want. In winter, you wish for summer. Brunettes want to be blonde, etc. When you are young, you want to be older. You can't WAIT to be an adult. Because you wish for time to speed up, it seems that time goes on forever. 3.  Children are more impatient, so time feels slower. As they get older, they learn to wait. They have more to occupy their brains; thinking of memories, agendas and experiences are a few things that they can do while they wait. A child, however, is thinking, "I want it!  I want it!  I want it!"4.  When you are young, you are still getting accustomed to the concept of time. You must look at a clock to see if the hour is up, for instance. Have you ever heard the phrase, "A watched pot never boils"?  The same is true with a clock. As you get older, the more experienced you become with time. You reach the point when you can say, "It's about 3:00 p.m." Then you reach a point when you say, "It's 3:00 alREADY?"  Where did the day go?"5. When you begin to grow on your own, you are living a long life. But then, someone younger is born, and you begin to watch his life. You compare your life with his, and think, "He's seven, alREADY?  Where has time gone?!" You think back to the time when you were seven, and the more you compare, the quicker time seems to have passed. You think, "Wow!  I've already lived three of his lives!" 8^}6.  A younger age seems farther and farther away as time passes. The further that year fades away, the faster time appears to speed up.  These are some of my theories, in addition to the ones mentioned earlier. I hope I made sense.

Why is my scooter so slow?

Right, no smart arses!

My 50cc scooter (yeah, i know...!) has been riden in 6 months. I have just tried to go up a hill (not amazingly steep) and couldnt make it to 20mph. On a flat it takes ages to get to 30mph (i know there not fast but i mean ages) but when it hits 30mph it zooms up to 45 or so in no time at all.

I bought the scooter of a friend so I no it worked fine 6 months ago. Does this sound like somethign that would be caused because it haesn't been riden and the facts its cold. Does it just need a good run out for a few hours. Or does it sound like it could be a little more serious?

Intro To Computers: TEST HELP!?

1. What makes an active heat sink different from a passive heat sink?
A. The active heat sink includes a fan.

2. What is the purpose of the boot loader during the boot-up process?
A. It finds the computer operating system and loads it into memory.

3. Your brother is always complaining how slow his computer is. What single action can he take that will provide him the biggest performance gain and make his computer faster?

This question is absurd. It is completely dependent on the bottleneck of the system. If his perception of the computer is disk loading times, then a SSD will provide the greatest performance. If his perception of speed is when running games or lots of memory intensive tasks, then doubling memory will provide the greatest boost. If his hardware is overpowered for his PSU and is being downclocked due to thermal constraints and voltages, then the Power Supply replacement would be the best upgrade. If his perception of slow is the response times when doing calculations, then his processor would be the best upgrade.

4. In order to install a device, the operating system needs the required __________ for that device.

D. driver

5. Your organization wants to implement a 5-year rotation plan of your computing devices. What percentage of your computer fleet will you have to replace every year in order to achieve this?

C. 20

6. Your mom found some optical drives that are labeled as “R.” She asks you what that means. What do you tell her?
A. The R indicates that the disks are Read Only.

7. You have just changed the system time within your computer’s BIOS. You choose to save the settings upon exit. What happens next?
A. The computer will restart the boot process from the beginning.

B. The computer will immediately load the boot loader.

That completely depends on the Motherboard and BIOS. A. usually happens, but that is not guaranteed.
8. Which of the devices below is an input device?

B. A Digital Scanner

9. The different types of DDR modules are easily identifiable because of what factor?

B. Each module has a notch located in a different place.

20. A power supply unit for a computer converts:
A. Alternative Current to Direct Current.
