What has been the most awkward situation you have been in at a guest's house?
Okay....So here it goes...I am not usually a people's person and don't get invited much anywhere and even if i get invited i go to a very few places where i feel comfortableThe one thing that happened that created an awkward situation was when i went to a work colleague cum friend's house for some official work cum lunch. We sat at the table to wat Pav Bhaji and our hands got coated with butter in the process of eating. My friend asked me to pass her the vessel that had the Pav and as our hands were oily the lid of the vessel just kept slipping out of our hands and just didn't open whatever we tried. Then finally i tried to open it with both my plams as the fingers weren't being of much help due to the lack of grip and oiliness. The lid sure opened but what happened next was it slipped off from between my palms like a frisbee and landed on the floor. It was awkward and embarrassing due to my clumsiness but then after throwing glances at each other we both ended up laughing.Awkward but still all smiles...

Whatever you do, if you want to talk to her, stick to work-related things. If not, it's possible she might make false accusations to a superior about sexual harassment and then you'll be in trouble.[1] She's already cheated on you, and I'm going to guess that she wouldn't hesitate to do something just as gutless as making false accusations about you to get rid of you or destroy you. What do you do? You've already mentioned you don't want her back. To eliminate the feeling of missing her, remind yourself she's now an enemy or ticking timebomb and can destroy your career at any given moment. Once you've established that, will you still miss her? No. You just make sure you don't say anything non-work related when you see her. Unfortunately, there are sick and twisted people like that who will falsely accuse you to make you look bad and help put themselves in a better situation.[1] This applies to the workplace and other settings as well such volunteer work, school, etc. I used a work example just to illustrate the point.
How should I handle this weird and awkward neighbor situation?
Your neighbors may not know that they are stepping over some of your boundaries. Let them know that some of the things they are doing bothers you. Oh, by the way, when you do this bring a little gift over to them to let them know that there are no hard feelings. That will take the edge off of what you will say.
My dad watches porn everyday?
You poor thing! I truly sympathise with you. I know that all this might make you uncomfortable but what would the consequences be if you revelaed directly to your Dad that you knew? Then I'm sure he would get uncomfortable too! He does not do it when you are around so he obviously does not want you to know. I'm not justifying what he does at all. I just think its an awkward situation. Could you put a block on your computer so that he can't have access to these sites?? I don't know your Dad so its hard to know whether to tell you if the right thing would be to confront him. Perhaps speak to your mum first - thats what I would do - YES do that!! If he likes watching porn I'm sure that its not something he started watching overnight - so you mum would probably not be at all surprised as she would know if he's watched it in the past - Tell her, and as an adult she would be able to deal with it best in looking out for your best interests. If that doesn't work then mention to him without accusing him that these disgusting sights have come up on the computer and that he should consider getting software to block them because it bothers you immensely.
What's the phobia name for the fear of awkward situations?
Social Anxiety. I have suffered from it for as long as I can remember. The acronym is SAD and many sufferers are also afraid of talking on the telephone...I know I am. I absolutely hate calling people because I'm afraid I'm going to sound stupid on the phone, or be misunderstood. Also, I sometimes imagine the person has me on speaker phone and other people are listening to me and I get nervous.

The most awkward situation that I am facing from last six months in my office is very complicated. There was a colleague whom I trust very much and I like his company very much. Last year, my new boss came in place of my old boss. From that time, the whole problem started. From the very first day, both my boss and my dear colleague whose name is Ramesh started showing eyes to each other. I thought it will be solved in few days but the problem starts worsening day by day.in this problem, the most affected person was me, which was tested again and again by both sides. Nobody wants to understand and on the top of it, both comes to me to open their heart out one by one. Very frustrating situation, sometimes both started fighting in front of me. So this is the most awkward situation.
Extremely awkward situation with ex girlfriend in same class?
We started dating in my 2nd part of Biology in March of this year. Since we were dating at the time we both chose same courses for summer and fall of this year. We both took a summer Chemistry course and were in the same class and that was great. Now we're both in organic chemistry but we broke up last week so it's very awkward to see her everyday plus sit next to her. We're in the same lab and sit right next to each other. I try to seperate my personal life with my school life but she can't. Even if i ask her a question about the work she ignores me or answers with a yes or no. Plus in that class we both have same friends it becomes awkward for them too. How do i deal with the awkwardness of having her in same class and her not talking to me when we have to and pretty much seeing her 4-5 hours a day everyday and not make it seem so odd?
