Everyone I Meet Thinks I Have A Lot Of Attitude

What is a negative attitude?

A positive attitude is a viewpoint that you will try to do things and try to do them right (this might be in connection with work, school, or family life, or even in relating to friends). A negative attitude is the viewpoint that you don't want to do what people want you to do, or you hate what you're supposed to do, or you don't want to cooperate with other people.

The reason it's referred to as an "attitude" is that it has nothing to do with whether things are really positive or negative. For example, I have a negative attitude about parties. I hate dressing up, standing around, and making small talk with people I don't care about. Other people might have a very positive attitude about doing that. The other way around, I have a very positive attitude about learning new stuff, even if I have no use for it. Other people might view that with a negative attitude, saying "why the $%#% should I care."

Hope that helps!

Why does my mom always think I'M the one with an attitude problem?

She gets on everyone in the family's nerves (yes, even her sister's, brothers' and parents') yet when I walk away or leave when she starts criticizing me for anything she sees as "wrong" with my son, I'M the one with an attitude. We've already discussed why I do what I do with my son (i.e. us leaving in the middle of a meal when he starts acting up and throwing food to Nana for attention), but she still wants to berate me in front of everyone (INCLUDING my son, I don't care he's only 20 months, I don't want her to continue doing it and him think its ok) for it, and I'm not supposed to say a WORD or walk away while she's bitching at me??? And my sister NEVER gets fussed at for butting in a conversation that has NOTHING to do with her, where as I'd get my butt chewed out? SERIOUSLY??? She also hates she doesn't have me under her thumb any more, I don't answer to her about any of my actions or anything.

My church is going to pay for my car repair (flywheel cover pin did something, its a pricey fix on a crappy car, tbh) on the conditions I A. Talk to my pastor about my attitude (and I KNOW its been my mom whining and crying to him) and B. Get my Bachelors. I'm EXTREMELY grateful they're willing to do this, but find it utter bull **** I have to sacrifice homework, cleaning, or quality time with my son to have meetings with him over something that isn't even TRUE.

So, why is it always that I'M the one that has an attitude problem??

Why Does everyone think I have attitude even though when I don't have?

When most of the people say you have an attitude problem, most of the times than not it means that you do.Try to have an open mind  about it. Whenever someone says that you have an attitude problem, say your sorry and you did not mean to offend them. Then go a step further and thank them for pointing it out and ask them what made them feel that way. If there was merit in what they say try and change yourself.

Why do Americans have such an attitude problem?

Overall, we've come to think we are entitled to everything under the sun.

All the people around me think that I have a bad attitude just because I am not very friendly and can't say hello to everyone first?

It's okay.. do not worry.  I have an easier way for you to stay away from 'Hello' -If you ain't friendly with someone whom you just met, that's perfectly fine as it takes time to get accustomed to a stranger. But remember to smile at them even if you shy to say hello. In the beginning there is a slight chance that they shrink away from you, but don't stop this practice even if they don't reciprocate.  Sooner you will see these people, who mistook your persona for a bad attitude wear a smile on their faces on seeing you.  But yeah..try to put a genuine smile not a forced one .. :)I'm sure this will work...

Why do people have attitude for no reason?

Your attitude grows through the way you think. Most people think in the wrong way. And lots of people think they are stuck in the past. So they copy what they learned in the past, especially in their early childhood. The way your parents think and behave as well as other family members, teachers, neighbors, etc. influences all of us.Most people live in the “victim mode”, they blame others, circumstances, the government, etc. for the way they feel. Most people are not aware of the way they think and behave. They all do what they think is the best way to live a good life. Even if that is behaving with an attitude that is not accepted in society. Like the ones with attitude problems. An attitude problem is a subconscious process, that is why you are not aware of it. Our conscious mind has no clue it is directed by the subconscious mind. A lot of people don’t realize this and don’t realize they can stop living on the “victim auto pilot”.You can change the way your subconscious mind rules, but only if you become aware (when you wake up and realize you’re not a victim) and are willing to learn and are willing to change something about it!What you yourself experience in others in my humble opinion is a mirror. Others mirror feelings and emotions to you, that gives you a beautiful chance to do something about yourself and grow, instead of being annoyed and/or irritated, angry etc. about the way others express themselves. An “attitude issue” in others might in this case be an invitation to become more aware of your own attitude. We can all improve and grow into more loving and caring people that take over control and say bye bye to feeling a helpless victim.Whatever happened in the lives of others is something that is in the past. We can all change the way we handle it and deal with it, but only if we are aware of it. These people with an attitude are not aware of this. You can’t change them. You can only change yourself and the way you live your life and treat others.
