Excuses for not going to the dentist?
I'm absolutely TERRIFIED of the dentist. It gives me very bad anxiety and when I think about it I feel like crying. My appointment is today (my dad made the appointment) and I just can't go I'm shaking while writing this. Is there anything I can tell my dad or the dentist so that I don't have to go?
Any ideas for a good excuse to not go to my Dads?
He talks about my future, if I'm doing the right things in my life in his eyes. Pretty much trying to convince me to live my life as he did. He does it in a really negative way though, normally calling me useless and putting down any opinions I have, so it's not so much a conversation as a lecture.
Do girls make up excuses to avoid dates?
When a guy asks you to hang out or do something and then something "suddenly comes up" (i.e) you have to help your sister with her homework, need to drive my dad somewhere, or just any various excuse to miss it is that a nice way of saying no without actually saying "no". and If in fact you actually did have to do something would you try to reschedule the date or would the guy have to try to do that again? It seems like I pick pretty bad times to hang out with girls. I am not bad looking, not fat, 6'1 175 with black hair. I have been told I'm "hot" by a lot of girls that I dont have any interest in. Thoughts??? Am I being rejected in a nice way, usually by a friend that didn't want to be anything more? thoughts girls?!?!

What excuse can i tell for not cutting my hair?
Do they believe in Jesus, he had long hair. Is it cold where you live? Here it's minus 36°C and having long hair is a good idea to stay warm. I'm a 47 year old woman and I happen to love men with long hair. My husband is now 57 and wore his hair long with a ponytail for a while, now he's losing his hair so he had to cut it. I have three young children, a girl, 14, and two boys, 11 and 9. If the boys have long hair, I won't object as long as they keep it clean. I have a cousin, more like a little brother who's 42, will be 43 next month and he has beautiful long hair. His parents don't like it but I do and I tell them. He's married, very handsome, has a beautiful wife and three children. He's an agricultor which is one of the most manly job and when he was single, all the girls ran after him. When I was young, a lot of my friends had long hair. They're overreacting(your father and school rector). Maybe they're not confident with their own masculinity, that's the only explanation I have. Whats an excuse for leaving a door unlocked?
I lost my house key and for the time being, ive climbed into my bedroom window to get in my house after school... if I tell my dad I lost my key he gets super mad and its scary and I want to avoid it. I tried leaving my back door unlocked so I could go through there instead of my window. But when I came home someone re locked it. When my parents get home they'll question me for sure. What do I say other than I lost my key?

I have to agree with "Cindy". You only have one father and if your just not going b/c you get board isn't really a good excuse. My parents were also divorced but I loved going to my dads but he always cried when I left. I knew he felt wonderful when I was there & he liked knowing I liked being there even though sometimes I would much rather do something else I still never let him know that. It's only a week, it's not a huge amount of time. I would just suck it up and go. If anything don't stay as long. See if he would mind if you left a little earlier to do something. When I was moved ( my mother moved us 3 hours away from our father) he was crushed and around a year or two later he almost died. The doctors sent him home to die b/c he had congestive heart failure. Luckily he survived and is doing a much better now. You never know what life will throw at you or when you will lose a loved one. It would suck to lose your father & think about the time you didn't go a see him b/c it would be boring.

Ok, not the popular answer again. Their is NO excuse for avoiding talking to your parents for a entire week. Unless, you are in another country from which it is too expensive to call, you email or text your parents at least on a weekly basis, are deathly ill or in a coma.Look have I avoided talking to a parent for a week. Yes, I was really angry and did not want to be disrespectful or discourteous. I disengaged just long enough to make sure I could keep my cool.My dad died 12 years ago and I would give almost anything to talk to him for just 10 minutes. Sometimes though, I still have to remind myself of this, when talking with my mother. Differences in basic philosophy, but other than your family what do we really have in this life?Look if you can't talk because you're angry or upset. What if your mom was calling to say, “Hey your dad's in the hospital and they don't think he will make it”. Good excuses to not get a haircut?
I am a boy and I got pretty long hair, a bit over my eyes. It looks awesome and I don't want to cut it. My dad said i'm gonna have to cut it on Wednesday, but i don't want to. Any excuses to not go to the barber on that day? please think of some good ones.
