I also did this exesrsice in Drama School. The only difference is we didn't have to remain at the door when we entered, so I could do things like sit at my computer when I got in my room, play music, try to avoid doing homework (as my three entrances). However standing at the door to to convey the emotion is an interesting variation.


Any of the examples your teacher gave you are great. I think no matter what you choose, to get you through the 60 seconds, you need to have a monologue playing in your head. If you were talking, what would you say? Even though you are not talking out loud, we are always talking to ourselves in our minds. You need to do this. If it helps, write the monologue you would say if you had lines. Flush out all the feelings you would be feeling - practice it a couple times and when you think these things through to full capacity, the audience will see that.

This is what will fill the 60 seconds.

Exercises I can do for my butt while I have a broken leg?

Hi Jordie,

Sit on floor with legs stretched out. Lift normal leg about 30 degrees from floor, hold for 2 seconds, return to start. Lift opposite leg, hold for 1 second return to floor, alternate legs for 8 times each side. Kneel on padded towel hands on ground, kick backwards with normal leg, return to start & repeat with opposite leg. 8 times each leg. If you have leg weights or similar, this can be incorporated later. Remain kneeling raise normal leg to the side, parallel to ground. Return to starting position and repeat with injured side. 8 times each side. If you have access to a body size pad & a smooth surface. Place pad about 3 feet from wall, lie on pad facing the ceiling /lights. With feet flat against wall push with both feet & slide back to starting position. Repeat 6 times. What basketball drills can i do with a broken ankle?

I honestly dont think you can stay in shape with a broken ankle bro, some people cant stay in shape with 2 good ones lol. But i feel you bro i sprained my ankle a while ago, then when it started healing i started to hoop a little and i stepped on another guys foot and sprained the other one lol. But when i only had one, i would just shooter jumpers all day off that other foot, it kinda worked on my balance. Also, since i sprained my left ankle, i did a ton of left handed layups. I also shot a ton of free throws. Of course, i waited like a week to start doing this, and its probably longer with a broken ankle, but i would basically just shoot free throws and do very little intensity stuff.

Sore tailbone from leg press?

I notices that my tailbone is sore after doing the leg press. I know now that it was from my poor form because I was lifting my butt off the seat trying to get the weight back up. I was reading how there isn't much that can be done for injured tailbones. If I let it rest for a while will it eventually get better? And can this injury happen even when you have good form?
