Exited For Christmas In September

When do you get excited for Christmas?

I love Christmas! I'm 14 but my Xmas' have been the same for as long as I can remember! As soon as it's New Year, I start planning for the next winter, mainly what gifts I'll be getting for everyone, so I've got twelve months to save up and buy things I know they'll really love...:)
Decorating the house is probably my favourite part of the festive season, except watching my family open their pressies and seeing their faces light up, I love that so much too :D I love putting up the tree and adding the tinsel and baubles and crackers and the angel on the top, and arranging the gifts underneath! We have a candle arch in one of the front-of-the-house windows, and paper snowflakes stuck in the other windows, which is an afternoon's fun to make, too :D
On Christmas eve we go to my grandma's and spend the day there, exchanging presents and having an early Christmas dinner there :) And on the drive back we get the Xmas songs tape out and listen to that :D
On the 25th we're allowed to go downstairs at 7.30, although I'm always awake hours earlier than that! And we open presents, and have Christmas dinner, (i'm vegetarian but my dad and whoever else is there has turkey) and play games like charades and board games, and have Christmas songs playing or whatever CDs people have been given :) And we watch Christmas specials on TV! And get the Christmas fruit cake out and cheese and usually wine or something...
I just love Christmas so much, I can't believe there's only three months until December and everyone else joins the festive feeling...:D

How to make Christmas come faster?????!!?!?!!!?!?!?

Hey, I remember being 14 and being super excited for Christmas months beforehand! I know it's really hard to wait, especially when it's only September and you have three more months (to the day) to wait. I suggest slowly getting into the spirit. Start making a list of what you're going to buy your friends and family (this is a good time to pay attention if you're in the store with them and they say something like "hey, I really want that!"). You can listen to Christmas music everyday if you want, and make playlists for it on Spotify or YouTube. I know I usually love the traditional Christmas songs, but I have fun every year finding newer versions of them or just new Christmas songs in general.

You can look up Christmas recipes online if you want, and maybe even try to make them for practice. You can go to stores and look in the Christmas aisles just for fun (I recently moved, but a friend was telling me the mall by my old house has already started putting up their Christmas displays, which I think is kind of fun, even if it is early). As it gets closer to November, maybe start a guessing game with friends or siblings about when you think Christmas music will come on the radio. Answering Christmas questions on here is a good way to pass the time too. Oh, and don't forget about Halloween and Thanksgiving. They're not quite as good as Christmas, but they're still fun distractions that lead up to it, so you could try getting excited for those to pass the time too.

Good luck, and Merry Very Early Christmas!!

How to get into the christmas mood in september?

Well what you can do is go to your local big store and look at all the christmas tree displays if they have them. Where i live all the big stores have all their christmas displays out. You could also go on to youtube and look at all the christmas scenery videos that play the christmas music. I do that and that always puts me in the chrismassy mood. This is one that i really like,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3oxpj7FS...

I'm excited about christmas already ?

I'm excited about christmas already I'm counting down making paper chains and watching the movies and I'm really in the spirit (it's my favourite time of the year) Id anyone else doing the same?

What do you do on Christmas Eve/Day?

It's that time of the year, September but the Christmas excitement is setting in! Our family usually has a tradition for Christmas Eve and Day, but this year it is different so I'm organising it! Exciting!

Christmas Eve:

We usually go to my Aunt and Uncles house in the afternoon, after spending the morning packing our bags to stay over their house. We then drive there, it's about 45 minutes away and then unpack a little, put the presents under their tree and after a while of settling in we have dinner. Then we watch TV for a while, or play a game and then it's bed.

Christmas Day:

Has always been the tradition of going to church. Me and my mum opt to stay at home and we peel the sprouts, chop the vegetables, peel potatoes etc until they get home. If we have time on our hands, we open a present which we have bought for each other, usually something we can wear, and we wear it for the day. Then when everyone arrives home, we do our own thing until Lunch is ready. We all sit around the table, pull the crackers, wear the hats, eat and laugh at the silly jokes. Then the washing up is done we all sit down in the living room and me and my cousin hand out the presents to everyone. We then all open the up in an hour of paper going everywhere, and the afternoon is spent playing with the presents, trying them on and having fun :) Then we have dinner, watch the Christmas episode of Dr Who and when that is done, we play Monopoly until we are too tired or someone has won. It's so much fun!

This year I know Christmas Eve will be:

Making sure the house is decorated, clean and ready for the next day. Clean out my hamster and my room for the new stuff, then wrap up the last presents and put them under the tree. I will then make some cookies and Christmas biscuits :D

Christmas Day will be opening a present as usual with my mother, and then set the table for lunch. Granny and Grandad usually go to Church, so I will make sure the house is clean and nicely decorated. Then lunch will be served, yum yum, and presents, a few Christmas movies, probably Harry Potter :D Pretty much the same but at home instead :D

What do you do on Christmas Eve/Day?

Why do filipinos celebrate christmas season as early as September??

Filipinos start christmas in September indeed. That's how excited Filipinos are for the Christmas holiday. But do you know that we celebrate it until late January or early February?! Its a 5 month celebration here!=D

I can't wait until Christmas!!!?

YESYES.

I miss Christmas:'( I miss all the excitement and believing... I don't want to grow up!!! :'(?

I miss Christmas soooooo much. I was excited for Christmas 2011 since September and I would count down the days :) I just loved the holiday, being with family and everyone being so happy. I love the decorations too. Now, I feel like it just went away, because it didn't really FEEL like Christmas. There was no snow, I didn't feel the "magic"... I don't know. I'm 13 by the way. I want that feeling again...

I want to be a little girl again.... Help:( (I'm feeling really sad about growing up...)
