EXO is more poplar than One direction?

Considering that one direction has debuted for quiet a while now, and EXO is still rookie.. EXO's fanbase is much larger compared to when One direction were rookies. but then again, One direction is more globalized, because they have a lot of fans everywhere, where as EXO has mainly fans in Asia, and a lot in the Western countries too, but not everyone knows EXO like they know one direction, make sense? :) But I personally prefer EXO <3 they're amazing.

Exo is the hottest craze right now in Asia. No Asians have no idea what Exo is. Over three quarters of South Korean teenagers are devoted fans of Exo. Other Asian coutries also fangirl over Exo, and Exo-M won the most popular idol in CHINA, where there are at least 1 billion people. There are millions of fans in countries like USA and Australia, where both white and non-white people worship them. However, One Direction is not well known, or appreciated in Asian countries, with more haters than their fanbase. They only have a handful of fans in white countries. So therefore Exo is wayyyyy more popular than One Direction. Or am I wrong? Please contradict me if you dare

It depends on where you are. I doubt people in East Asia care for One Direction just like people in Western countries are less likely to take to EXO. Overall, EXO probably has a larger fanbase just because boybands are in their prime over there and the fan dedication can get rabid.
