nowadays most documents are stored electronically, in addition with the storage devices being very inexpensive you can save TONS of storage space by archiving documents to tape as opposed to boxes full of paper. In addition, searching documents electronically is a lot easier and faster than going to a warehouse and searching for a specific tile location.
overall, when it comes to flexability and cost effectiveness word processing takes first place. Look at the big picture, in the end, the typewriter will create a lot more grief and will be a lot more costlier.
