Why? - Bronski BeatThe Bronski boys were one of the first openly gay bands, and mixed politics, sexuality and electronic dance music. Why deals with the hostility faced by people in same sex relationships from society. It’s a spin on the you-and-me-against-the-world story.Karma chameleon - Culture ClubBoy George and drummer Jon Moss were having a semi-secret affair during Culture Club’s most succesful years. The song is about the tension of an openly gay man dating a man who isn’t. Every day is like survival, you’re my lover not my rival, sums it up fairly well. It was hugely successful, although I think few people understood. Personally I’ve always hated this song.Georgina Bailey - Noosha FoxA strange little tale with two forbidden loves. Georgina is in love with her own uncle. He, however, is in love with another man.Infant kiss - Kate BushLoosely based on the Henry James novella The Turn of the Screw, the song is about a nanny who is sexually attracted to the child in her care. It hints that the child has the spirit of a man, but nonetheless is a tricky subject.Kashka from Baghdad - Kate BushThe story of two men living a secret life in a homophobic society. Kate often deals with unusual ideas of relationships. In this the men are happy but isolated from the world.Brother Louie - Hot ChocolateThe 1973 hit for Hot Chocolate, followed the story of a mixed race couple who are subject to prejudice from both families. Hot Chocolate, along with The Equals (fasting Eddy Grant) were one of the few mixed race bands in the early 70s.Embarrassment - MadnessThe subject came up again when the largely mixed race ska bands of the late 70s re-examined it. The most succesful or these was Embarrassment by Madness, looking at a white girl who gets pregnant by her black boyfriend. Madness were one of the few all white bands of the genre. Their strong political and ethical stance on many subjects, especially racism, is often overlooked.Under One Roof - The RubettesA tale of a man and his gay lover. Somewhat like Rod Stewart’s The Ballad of Georgie, the hero is murdered at the end by his outraged father. That aside it was a brave move at the time for a band better known for cheesy pop love songs.

The Koran has a chapter of details from Jesus' life that the Bible is lacking???

Actually, there are other references to Jesus besides the Bible. Spiritual and government leaders decided what was going to go into the Bible and what was not. Therefore, there are many other books, including the histories of Josephus, the book of Thomas, the book of Judas and the books in the Apocrypha, that talk about Jesus and details of his life that are not in the approved Bible. This information would have been available to early Christians, along with Mohammed and other religions and spiritual leaders. It has been in more recent times, mostly with Constantine and King James that Christians have been denied information that was common knowledge about their history. Many modern Christians just go along with the idea that what is in the Bible is the word of God and ONLy what is in the Bible can be believed.
