Extreme Sweat When Not Even Exercising

Does more sweat during an exercise me more fat loss?

no, it means the more water you loose;
to burn fat it is best to exercise for more than 20 minutes per session (continuous exercise), your body typically burns it's glycogen stores for the first 20 minutes BEFORE it begins to burn fat. That is why most aerobic exercise sessions are for thirty minutes.

Why I am not sweating even after hard workouts?

The most common reason for lack of sweating is dehydration. Lack of hydration before or after a workout means your body will be severely lacking in fluids. Sincesweat largely consists of water, not having enough of it throughout your system means you won't have enough to sweat out.Causes can be very widespread, such as autonomic disturbances, autoimmune disorders, various medications, surgeries, tumors, nerve injuries, genetic disorders, to name only a few. That said, many individuals tend to sweat more or less than others, and where they sweat most also varies. The degree to which an individual lacks the ability to sweat can influence how much their exercise is affected, and the risks involved.”

Why do I sweat more after exercise than during exercise?

Hi This is a question I had plagued me as well. I have been into regular exercise all my life and often used wonder why I appeared to get more sweat after the exercise than before it. My initial hypothesis was, as I used to jog or play sports outside in open air, the amount of sweat remained the same. Only during exercise body would get cooled under the wind or the sweat would evaporate under sun and wind. However, I later noticed that even in gym (where there is hardly any wind or sun) I sweated more after the exercise than during it. I later discussed with a friend and my sister who is a biologist. I will share with you our conclusion. During exercise since your muscles are working more, more heat is generated. However, your heart rate also increases during exercise and so there is higher circulation of blood which takes away the heat from the muscles. After exercise your muscles are still at higher temperature but since the heart rate declines, there is less circulation of blood. As a result, less heat gets taken away from the muscles and the temperature of muscles rises a bit more. This increases the temperature of the blood a little more and this higher temperature when it passes through the brain triggers more sweat. I hope this solves the puzzle for you :)

How long do i have to wait after exercising to shower?

Usually, some athlete take shower after exercise while they are still sweating. But for those who are not used to it, you can rest at least 30 minutes before taking shower. It has no adverse effect if you take shower after resting too long. For some persons who are not used to have shower after exercising, they experienced body pains especially to the joints. Extreme cases may result to imflamatory joints.

Do you sweat when you shovel snow? Is it normal?

Yes you sweat; yes you get over heated. It is a misleading factor because you may want to remove your coat...DO NOT! You are highly susceptible to catching Pneumonia and having a heart attack! Make sure that you soak your hands, feet, and other body parts that may feel numb or extremely cold in luke warm/tepid water. Your body may even feel as though it is on fire when you come back into your home after shoveling the snow...this, too, is common. Remove all damp clothing and try to climb in to a nice tub with luke warm water. Upon completion, put on dry clothing. Take a Vitamin C for precautionary measures to void off getting a cold, if possible.

Using a sweat belt around stomach while pregnant and exercising?

Ok, I already asked my doctor and he said to not even bother using a sweat belt around the stomach since I am going to gain weight anyway during pregnancy. Plus he says you CAN get dehrydrated but I drink plenty of water when I exercise ( which is an hour a day and I do bike or eliptical)The thing is I am so used to wearing it and I feel it helps me lose excess water weight when I use it, especially in the back region.

Please no stupid or ignorant comments, I just want to know if other moms have used it. It's more of a comfort thing to me. I'm not a health freak and WOULD never put my baby at risk, which is why I am coming on here just for friendly advice and I am curious

Why do I continue to sweat after a post exercise shower?

I regularly have this issue after a hard run I am dripping with sweat during the run for at least an hour the hard run my heart and lungs are probably running at 80 % capacity and this causes sweating as there body's Natural way to control temperature. Stopping and immediately getting into a shower to rush to work does not help and as others have said it takes time for he body to cool down. A cool shower helps but not a lot and the body needs to get back to normal internal temperature before you stop sweating. This is quite normal

How can I get rid of an oily face and excessive sweating?

When you posted this question, didn't Quora suggest questions similar to yours, already answered? Anyways, follow the below points:1. You need to avoid oily foods and foods which produce heat in the body.  2. Exercise daily. Suryanamaskar in morning, Chandranamaskar at night.3. Take baths twice , after morning exercise and night exercise. Use scrubber, loofah, something to exfoliate your skin.4. Use shampoos like Pantene Lively Clean which remove the oiliness from your hair. You can shampoo your hair daily if you're a guy.5. Don't oil your hair daily. Humans don't need oils to protect our hair. We produce our own oils to protect ourselves. 6. Don't use moisturizers, instead use sunscreens which are non-comodegenic.7. Use Candid B dusting powder on your body for 1-2 days/week.8. Also, if you have body hair, get rid of it even if you're a guy. I am talking about hair in armpits, chest hair and back hair. You don't need to wax it off, just trim them off. No need to remove hands or legs hair.9. You can use this regime at night- wash your face with water and cleanser(face wash), pat dry, use a cotton ball soaked in toner and wipe your face. Now don't apply anything on face and go to sleep. You can use some retinol based night cream if you are above 25 and if you want, else no need really. 10. Drink water before going to sleep and after waking up. And remain hydrated throughout the day as well.

If you exercises and don't sweat, do you still burn calories?

Yes. Some people just sweat more than others and some not at all, but I'll bet if you took your workout to 45 minutes you'd break a sweat. It also depends on the intensity at which you are working out. I used to walk a 4 minute mile and not really sweat that much. So it depends on the person.
