Extremely Low Fps And Very Slow Loading Time For League Of Legends Need Help

Need help choosing a gaming laptop?

Right now I have an Acer Aspire 5253-BZ841, it's only a few years old and it's a fabulous laptop, but not so much for gaming. It lags frequently and has painfully slow loading time, among other things wrong with it. I've decided it's time for a new computer with the ability to support my needs.

The only game I really play is League of Legends, if that helps. I don't know for sure, but I don't think it takes as much effort for a computer as something like World of Warcraft or Diablo 3(D3 was nearly impossible to play on this thing...) but I could be wrong. I am on the computer ALOT, so on top of efficiently running my game, I'd love for it to be reliable and fast for when I browse the internet, use Photoshop, ect.

I THINK I'd like to get a laptop, because I do travel around a bit, but a desktop computer is ABSOLUTELY NOT out of the question. I could always keep this laptop and take it with me when I go and have my awesome desktop at home.

I did a little research and these laptops were the most appealing to me:

My budget is like $1200, so I'd love some advice about computers in that price range. Can anyone vouch for any of these laptops I linked or suggest better ones that I can research? Any help is appreciated.

What game should I play, Warframe, Planetside 2 or League of Legends?

The 3 of them are completely different games. If you enjoy the no brain 3rd person shooter so you can play just to pass the time i would say warframe.Had a lot of fun with it with friends but the solo experience wasn't that great. The game that is similar to Warframe is The Division overall its great game if you want to play with friends. Now for the second Planetside 2. 1st you will kinda need a beast PC it’s really demanding at times when you enter a battle like 100 vs 100 you will notice big FPS drops if you don't have at least 8GB Ram.I loved to play in sniper class(can't remember the name exactly). The long shots that had to be headshot to kill someone and the bullet drop is amazing feature in the game as for the infantry if you join a platoon most of the time you are going to spend watching the loading screen. The game is awesome the combat is more strategic even if its 1st person shooter and you must listen to your squad leader and obey orders its a slow progress game but if you can invest time in it and learn the mechanics you might even become a leader as well. And now ahh the league of legends.I don't even know from where to start.I played it for like 5 years+. Yest Its a MOBA game completely different from warframe and planetside 2. You either hate it or love it there is no middle.Lets start with the beginner point. You have to invest time in it even if there is payed options it take time,to reach level 30 then you can join so called “Ranked games” this is where the game really shine. There are so many micro plays that you can do that can turn around the game in your favour or lose it completely. It just takes a lot of practice to learn it.But to master it? ALOT with capital leathers. The community is not so great and it's understandable since they all play to win but not for the sake of fun its really competitive and can really throw you off the grid sometimes.Over all you just have to find what suits you the most! For me Personally is LOL and Planetside 2With good gaming gear everything is possible.Check our shop Intent-gaming.com Best equpment for reasonable price

Extreme LoL Lag?

I have experienced this horrific lag whilst playing League of Legends recently.

My computer specs with be at the end of this paragraph to show you the frustration I am experiencing, since I pay a lot for a good computer and internet.

During League of Legends I used to get Over 100 FPS on Very High settings, now I get about 30 on Low settings.

I used to get a constant 80-90 PIng, now I get 100-110, and my ping spikes to about 1000 a few times every game to the point where i just cant move at all.

The ping and FPS problems occured at the same time.

What is wrong with my computer? Did i do something to mess it up? Do you have a solution to how i can raise my FPS and maybe my Ping?

How many frames per second (fps) do I need to play Dota 2 without a disadvantage?

As far as my experience goes, I would recommend playing it at upwards of 45 FPS, as this will allow you to get almost all the details you’ll need. I suppose there’s no real “advantage” from having a higher frame-rate, mainly because I don’t know how it makes a difference (do let me know in the comments if you do know), but having less than 45 FPS would mean you may miss a few details that could be your undoing.Hope this answers your question!

Laptop battery died overnight and now it's running very slow?

Sudden loss of power can, and in your case has done, damage to RAM, CPUs, and even the motherboard. this is most likely why your laptop is so slow. OR some damage was done to the OS. try a system restore. with windows this can be accessed from the start menu by typing system restore in the search bar if you have vista or 7. with mac i have no idea how you'd do a system restore, if OS X even has it. if you have a windows laptop then you can simply type system restore into the start menu search bar, and press enter. click on the link that comes up. it might say recovery rather than system restore. choose a date closest to before last night, so you lose minimal data, and see if it improves. if not your hardware has been damaged. if your warranty is still active try sending it to the manufacturer. good luck!

Does an increase in RAM also increase the FPS in games?

Not really. An increase in RAM decreases the amount of stutter(random freeze ups that last for very short duration).Provided you have the other components upto the minimum requirements.A game uses RAM to store the game files and usually bigger games with high graphics has a bigger file associated with it and this will be stored on to the RAM.But many games have their file size exceeding 10GB which is more than the average RAM size found in a computer. So the solution is that only the required files for the particular area of the game where we are at is loaded. This reduces the RAM usage of the game.So unless the game file size that is loaded exceeds the RAM size of your PC ,technically there shouldn’t be any FPS problems. For example you can play Watchdogs on a PC with 2GB of RAM but there will be some stuttering as we move around in the game. This is mainly due to the game having to load files very often due to lower RAM.

When building a gaming pc what specs do you want?

What im trying to learn is what specs actually matter when it comes to gameing. For the CPU will the cores or Ghz affect FPS the most and whats the difference between intel and AMD? For the GPU is it the speed that you want to pay attention to or the amount of GB it has?
