So, obviously for every three of these, the idea of a good personality is with each of them okay, lol. I don't wanna hear about how personality is important so spare me that haha, just say it's assumed lol. Just give me an honest answer which one is most important to you??? Like, for me, I have only a nice face, with a good personality of course lol, not the tallest or buffest ... so idk

Lets say two guys were interested in you and one was average tall (around 5 foot 10 - 177 cm). He also has a handsome face, basically whatever your concept of a very good looking male face is, he has it. The other guy is tall (6 foot 4 - 190 cm) but with an average face (as in, you don't feel repulsed by his face, but not that much attraction either). Which one would you rather be with?

There are a lot of very nice thoughts here about genuineness and emotional connection. Those are huge factors once you are interacting. But the initial attraction is still highly related to physical attributes and, importantly, social signals.As a guy whose body has changed by 20lbs+ of (mostly) muscle mass (above 170 when strength training, around 150 when training for distance races) a couple times, I can say categorically that being bigger/muscular definitely gets more attention. More women look, more women engage. Superficially, we can assume that women are just "more attracted" to more muscular men on average. But I think it's much more subtle than physical appearance.Two factors may come into play here: 1) Projecting confidence. Do I feel more badass when I'm bulked up? Absolutely. I expect that shows through and women are attracted to it.2) Social signaling - how other men act around you (potentially derivative of the first). I suspect that there's some subtle changes with how men interact with one another based on size and perceived strength/power. Of course, there are many, many non-physical aspects of power, but in an environment with a lot of unknown people (bar, restaurant, etc.) physical appearance is the easiest, fastest way to evaluate. Examining #2 more deeply, I think this is why guys who can make their friends laugh and/or who are buying them rounds are more attractive to women. It shows you can influence people and that you have social power (even if it's through money only). Again, this is all signaling before the first conversation, so I'm not implying this is all that matters for a connection, and especially not for a relationship. Just for the initial attraction based on the information available without interacting directly.
