Facebook Messaging a guy you like?
First you need to break the ice atleast a little and become acqainted with each other. All you need to do is introduce yourself, give a compliment, make a joke, or even just say hi. After that I would say it's fine to facebook him but personally, I would be a little turned off if someone i had never talked to facebooked me and knew who I was. Just wait until you two are acquainted.
HELP!! a guy in my class wont stop messaging me on Facebook!?
Help! there's this guy in class who keeps messaging me! He keeps messaging me "Hi!". Its pretty annoying. He knows I'm always offline so he just sends me a message. I mean i dont even reply back to him! Cant he get the hint that i DONT want to talk to him? During summer break, I blocked him and a week later i unblocked him to block his family just in case he would try to use his family to search me on fb. As you know it takes 48 hours to re-block someone back! and the next day he sent me a friend request!( when you block someone they automatically dont become your friends anymore) and also since he messages me alot! He sees me on his inbox and can see my name in black and without a profile picture! Did i mention this guy used to bully me! he would call me mean names and destroy my things but now he's becoming really nice! He also used to like me but not anymore! i DO NOT like him back btw! I really want him to STOP talking to him but I dont want him to bully me again and since school is coming up again, he'll probably ask me if i blocked him or why cant I message you?! dont want to lie to him but i dont want to tell him i blocked him just because he creeps me out and i dont want to talk to him! What should I do?? I understand he wants to be my friend but I dont want to be HIS friend! NOT FRIENDS! NOR ENEMIES! Btw, I re-blocked him already! but was this the right move?? HELP!!
This guy won't stop Facebook messaging me?
I met this guy through a basketball team and then i found of he was at my school. He is one year older than me and graduated in 2013. Im in grade 12 now. He added me on Facebook and I didn't think much of it. He then started messaging me almost every week. I wouldn't reply but he just kept asking me questions, like hows school? are you coming to basketball? stuff like that. I really don't like him but I don't want to be rude and delete him or block. I thought he would take the hint when I didn't reply but he hasn't yet. I quit basketball so i don't see him, the last time I saw him was in April of this year. Please help me

Do not respond. There's clearly a problem here. I'm sure you feel some sympathy, but you are probably the 50th person she has sent this message to. Make that number 49. She needs to get help herself. HERSELF. She needs to hit bottom and improve herself. Do not get dragged into her world. You're a good person,because you're asking the quora community what to do. A lot of people would fire back and say, "girl, you're crazy" or something really callous or fake. Know that your silence is actually helpful to her. It will be more powerful than a reply.
How can I see deleted Facebook messages?
Did you actually delete the message, or just archive it? If you were viewing the message and just hit the X, the message would have been archived and is retrievable. But, if you selected the message and went to "actions-->delete conversation" it's gone forever.If you did just archive the message you can go to your inbox and click "other-->archived" and it'll show your archived messages. If you fully deleted the message though, Facebook doesn't offer any recovery support to get it back. If you really want them only one way u just contact Facebook customer supports to help you and guide you in better way because a cop can access but we can't just because we don't have that authority what they have and the necessity.
How can I block someone from messaging my Facebook page?
Just go to the privacy shortcuts and change the messaging to 'Strict filtering'. This way only friends would be able to message you, now if you want to block someone who is your friend just simple unfriend them and they will fall into others bucket.Edit: For Page just go to settings and uncheck this box and save changes.It would be on top of your page among other tabs.
Can parents see facebook messages?
I talk to my boyfriend through facebook messaging because he recently got his phone taken away. Last night, my Mom told me that my dad saw some messages to him. My question is, how could they have seen the messages? It was completely over facebook, and they dont know my password, plus i changed the password, so it would have logged them out. Also, i dont even live with my dad, so i dont know how he could have seen anything. Im so confused?!?! can someone please tell me how he appaerntly is reading my facebook messages??

Can I switch back to the old Facebook messages?
I absolutely loathe the new message system Facebook has. I can't put titles on my messages, and it's intertwined with the chat system, and it's confusing, and I hate it. I find that some people aren't inflicted with it yet. Does anyone know of a way I can switch back to the old Facebook message system? 10 points to anyone who can tell me how.
