False Positive for Opiates and Amphetamines in UA?
None of those medications have opiates or amphetamines in them. Also, it is very, VERY, unlikely you got a positive for opiates from eating some poppy seed bagels, cause the level of percentage for opiate tests was raised dramatically a few years back to prevent such events. Amphetamine-wise, you could have gotten a positive from any over the counter pills you have take that contain pseudoephedrine (ex: sudafed) even tho, this is also unlikely, but it's the only possible way I can think of without haven taken speed. Opiate-wise, have you taken any over the counter pills or cough syrup containing codeine? Codeine will fail you for an opiate drug test easily. Another possibility arises though. I just looked in an encyclopedia for those meds you take, and they ALL seem to interact with other substances (each other, other medicines, and even food). So, maybe you had some kind of weird interaction there which made you fail a drug test, to pinpoint what exactly is beyond me. My advice is try and get off of those meds for a week, eat healthy and drink a lot of water, then have your own drug test done. That might prove hard to do though, since um, after you've been taking that kind of stuff (antidepressants, anti psychotics, and stuff for epilepsy) it is kind of hard to stop :-\
False positive on a spice drug test !?
I would demand lab verification. In addition, did they tell you exactly what chemical you tested positive for? I am aware of drug tests for jwh-018 and jwh-073, for sure. You need to find out what chemicals that test is looking for, so that you can find what you may have taken that could have had something similar in it. Are you POSITIVE that you havent done any drugs? No k2 or spice or incense or regular marijuana that could have had some of the synthetics in it? Did you get tobacco from somewhere that is not prepackaged in name brand cig? Were you close enough to someone else smoking it to get a contact buzz? Are you on the rx marinol? It will test positive for thc, and could possibly (?) show up in some of the synthetic cannabanoid tests. What medications are you taking? Some of the chemicals that have been showing up in the k2 and other smoking blends are similar to some legal medications. Did you disclose your rx list at the time of drug test?
Will Aspercreme w/ lidocaine cause a false positive on a UA?
Hi guys, so ive been using aspercreme w/ lidocaine on my ankles because im training like crazy for a city job; as well as I am a waiter in the meantime. So I m constantly on my feet. I have a drug test on monday to get this city job. From what I have gathered that its very possible to fail. Im going to go out and get a drug screen test from my pharmacy today. But in case it does show up, what should i do to get rid of it?? I know there are those drinks out there, but i hear they grew smart to them and high creatanine levels are a sign of taking them
What herbal remedy could cause a False Positive Urine Anyalisis for "Oxazepam"?
I am a stay at home mother,& live a healthly lifestyle but, I do have some medical problems as well as mental health, I take Prozac 40mg, Buspar 30mg and Klonapin 2mg twice a day (that what it says- i usually take less than that though)...I was asked two months ago to take a Urinary analysis for drug testing-and since i have nothing to hide I immideatly agreed, The problem is- the UA came up positive for 3 different benzodiazipenes , one i am prescribed so thats ok, but the other two are problems, I stopped drinking tea with Kava-Kava in it as i heard that could be a contributing factor, and then was ua'ed again about 10 days later, one of the "benzo's" was gone- but now- I am still comming up "Dirty" for "Oxazepam" which i asked my dr what it is and he said "Vallium". Does anyone know about this? I am clean, sober, honest person, and I live my life for my son and it has been tramitizing trying to defend myself to people that believe im using "Oxazepam". I did just start drinking herbal teas instead of coffee in the morning (do to my anxiety the coffee does not go with me) and thats when this started, some one please help; Oh, here is a list of the herbs i take often; My Leg Circulation tea- Angelica root, Bootchers broom,Billberries, Gotu Kola, Hibiscus flower (for flavor) Gingko Biloba, Echinechea , Nettles, Ginger Root. Breakfast tea; Green teas-matchs, decaf sencha, gunpowder, Siberian Ginsing, and sometimes american Ginsing, Assam+passionfruit flavor+ Apple flavor black teas, Chickweed, Alfalfa, Rooibos, Yerba mate, Ma-Haung (ephedra plant- witch i use very little) Detox Tea (diet,Constipation) I dont drink this as often; Senna pods, Licorice rt, Birch Leaf, Nettles, Dandilion, and sarsparilla... Ok thats it! Please help me! I would greatly be in your debt !

What can cause a false positive for alcohol on a urine analysis?
I simply do not know Sandiee. In Canada we don’t generally test for drugs or alcohol (only Nixon’s DEA do). Now if this person is a pilot or linesman or ship captain etc. they DO get tested on a regular basis. But not everybody; wow now there are some costs. (maybe the Republicans could cut here).
Can a 5 hr energy drink cause a false positive urine drug test?
I doubt it would cause a false positive, but in theory, if you drank one before taking a drug test, it could make your urine more acidic (due to the different amino acids and other acids mentioned below). This would be about the same as a positive test result if the tester believes you've tried to alter your urine in any way. Also, there is a lot of vitamin B in a 5 Hour Energy drink. This can turn your urine more yellow. Color is one of the things they test for, and again, if the color is out of the normal range, they may have reason to believe you've tried to alter your urine. (They may think you've tried to alter the results because people may try taking large quantities of vitamin B to beat a drug test, but it really doesn't work). So no drugs should show up from drinking it, but other problems such as urine alteration may come up. However, I don't know how much of a difference just one of the drinks would make. Can folic acid cause a false positive on a home pregnancy test?
i began taking folic acid because i heard it could help you get pregnant, now that i have actually missed my period i took three home pregnancy tests and all the three turned out positive. when i went to the doctors today they said it was negative. can folic acid give you a false positive??? or did i go into the doctors early because i have only missed my period for two days. im really worried about getting my hopes up because my fiance and i have been trying ever since my last miscarriage which was a year ago. can some one please share some of your knowledge on this. i will be so happy. thanks = )
