Im very interested in action movies, but i find it so much more worthwhile when there is a life lesson in the movie. If any of you have seen Jet Li's Fearless/ Hero, movies like those.
Inspirational movies like The Blind Side?
Do movies like The Blind Side have an actual genre name? Or do you just refer to them as Inspirational (or Motivational) drama flicks? Basically, I'm trying to find more movies where one person changes the life of one kid or many kids who come from difficult backgrounds, in a most amazing and heartwarming way. My favorites aside from The Blind Side are Remember the Titans and Precious. I love those movies! Any ideas on your part? And does that type a movie have a specific genre title? Please and Thank you!

I am deadly sure you must like…Bekas is an Award Winning Kurdish Comedy Drama inspirational movie released in 2012 on both languages Kurdish and English.IMDb rating is 7. 5/10. The film revolves two homeless Kurdish brothers see Superman in the town's first movie theatre and decide they are going to live with him in the US. It's a long, dangerous road in the hands of ruthless human smugglers. Both kids are the prime protagonists acted stunningly.

In your eyes, which are the most motivational and inspiring movies ever, and why?
The entire APU Trilogy by Satyajit Ray which most, myself included, consider to be one film. You see Apu's long journey from childhood to an adulthood and he overcomes every possible tragedy in his life. He does this because he finds strength in the love that was given to him by his family. Yes, it sounds kind of corny but it's something that plays out beautifully on screen. Trust me when I say that even though the film takes place in India during the 1920’s, you will relate to Apu and his family. I wanted to be a better person when I saw those movies. I wanted to utilize the love I was given so I could help myself and others.
