Family Guy--Do you think it is Racist?
I am a black female and I used to love--I MEAN LOVE family guy,I used to watch it all the time it was my sh** but after the years all those so called poking funny at stereotypes got to ME,honestly I know they are trying to be funny,but it just hurts sometimes ..it just hurts your feelings...so I just lost the love of watching it ..I guess all those jokes just got to me my syche or inner core or somethin, I dont know...also I have five sisters ...and me and 4 total ..has just kinda loss interest in the show...its like I will watch and then those jokes come on family guy and I just turn it off or to another station...thanks I thought I was the only one that felt this way when watching the show thanks Mel !

Well, what do you find “weird”? Who defines/is the arbiter on what is “weird”? Do you mean the US as a whole, as if the US some completely homogeneous country where all interpersonal relationships are the exact same? Or are you asking if there are any instances of a relationship being “weird” in the US? And as far as the spouses part of the question goes, are you asking for the full list of problems that married couples in the US have faced, ever?I think you’re going to have to reword and drastically narrow the scope of your question to get any useful answers.

Do you think the family of a murder victim should have any say in what punishment is given to the murderer?Absolutely not. The idea itself is crazy. It turns justice into revenge, or worse, can deny a person justice. First off, when the family of the murdered victim comes up and says, what a fantastic person the victim was and how the monster should burn in hell, for most families that's a given. What if the family members thought the murder victim was a jerk and is glad he’s dead? Does the person deserve less justice because of a dysfunctional family dynamic? The harm the murderer did was not only to that person and that family but to society. We can't let highly charged emotions work into our justice system.
Do you think my family screwed me over?
Marz, We all make certain decisions for what we do. Sometimes they are the right decisions and sometimes they are not. Your parents (biological) might of wanted to wait until you were older and out of school before telling you something that was obviously going to be very stressful and hard to hear (unfortunately the family friend chose to gossip and ruin what they planned to do). Please remember that what you are going through right now is hard on your parents and grandparents also (though it doesn't seem that way right now). Suicide, also is never the answer. Please do not ever think that ending your life is going to take the pain away. It only creates more pain for the friends and family that you live behind. I highly recommend you get in touch with your family and let them know you are safe but are unsure of what to do now that you know the truth about your family situation. Some counseling would probably be a great help also (hey it works-you just need to give it some time!).

no, did you ever see that south park episode about family guy..southpark has family guy writers as manatees in a big water tank picking random topics for storylines/jokes. I thought it was funny. I don't like southpark but it was funny to see how jealous southpark is. family guy rules over southpark because family guy doesn't hold anything back. oh and there was the whole muslim thing.
