Fantasy Football - Ppr League - Edelmen Or Decker

2013 Fantasy Football Season: Week 3: Would you make any changes to my starting lineup going into week 3?

I'd seriously think about picking up another running back to throw out there instead of Steven Ridley. Tampa's defense is no joke and Ridley hasn't exactly been lighting up the league to begin with. If you can get someone like Knowshawn Moreno or Giovani Bernard, it might be worth the gamble.

2013 Fantasy Football Season: Who are some players that looked great in week 1 that I can pick up off the waiver wire for week 2?

Here is this week's most added players for the CBS fantasy leagues:

In fantasy football week 5, who should I cut so that I can add Geronimo Allison; Kenny Stills, Chris Godwin, Marquise Goodwin, or Mike Williams?

I honestly hope that this is for a flex position and that your receiving core is much better than the barrel of shit you just listed there. Instead of Allison, you should have been smarter and try and pick up Calvin Ridley or Tyler Boyd — actual worthy starts. However, I won’t continue to rail on you for the duration of this post.Out of everyone in this group, Stills is the one with any serious upside. He’s the number one receiver in Miami and gets plenty of love. He’s just notoriously inconsistent. Mike Williams isn’t a terrible stash, but Rivers loves Allen and Gordon a little too much for him to really get you a ton of points. This leaves us Marquise Goodwin and Chris Godwin, the worst of the fantasy players here. Goodwin hasn’t broken 30 yards this year. 30 yards. This was also while Jimmy G was leading the show, not C.J. Beathard. The only player worth owning in this motley crew is Matt Brieda. Do yourself the favor and drop this dead weight.Godwin is actually pretty talented and good be a pretty good option down the line. However, when the offense sucks like it did last week, his performance really suffered. It looks like Fitzmagic ran it’s course and that was the only time Godwin was raking in points. Unless things change, you can do better than Godwin.Keep Stills and watchlist Williams and Godwin, as better days could be ahead in Tampa. Just banish Goodwin to the pit of misery. Things won’t look good there this year.

Should I trade J. Allen for J. Maclin and A. Hopper in Week 3, also with my TE G. Olsen out?

I agree with Jessee Heck: what other RBs do you have? Do you have a flex position? Also, are you playing in PPR? Allen is more valuable in that format. The defining factor for me would be the size of your league (10, 12, 14, 16 teams)? The only way I do that trade is if you're in a 16 teams league and all the TEs are taken. If not, look at the waiver wire for TE help (Charles Clay and Jack Doyle are my favorite waiver wire TEs).I like Allen more than Maclin as a flex. Hooper is kinda “meh” for me. Good luck and let me know what you decided to do!

Should I trade Jamaal Charles for Alfred Morris and Delanie Walker?

Alfred Morris is a great RB2 but Delanie Walker is a sub par tight end in a sub par offense, so I don't see the value. I would need a better TE or player than Walker to make this valuable. I agree as in this is hard to project without seeing the two rosters. www.waiverwarrior.com

Davante adams or julian Edelman?

Both are good options, Byron. However Davante Adams is certainly the better one at this stage.

Both are being thrown to by elite QBs, but with the season-ending injury to Jordy Nelson, Adams is being thrust into the WR2 role for Green Bay. This also propels third-round pick Ty Montgomery and/or Jeff Janis into fantasy relevance.

Julian Edelman's still a great pick because of the amount of rapport he and Tom Brady have (especially since Brady won his appeal against the NFL). But I'd pick Adams over Edelman because Rodgers will have to spread around 151 targets that Nelson received last year to someone.

What changes should I consider making (add/drops) heading into week two of the 2013 Fantasy Football season?

Since this is a 10 team league, you need to have advantages at every position, where it's feasible (obviously). This becomes even more imprortant in 10 teams and fewer, because everyone probably has solid starters at every position. At TE, see if Jordan Cameron or Jared Cook are available on waivers and snag them. I think they'll both be solid starters this year. But, there's nothing on waivers that's going to give you a week-to-week advantage at any position in a 10 team league. You have great WRs, and 2 studs in Fitz/Cruz. I would package either Chris Johnson OR Arian Foster along with one of your benched receivers (Smith or Boldin, probably Smith, based off last week) for a sure-fire, stud RB. Someone along the lines of Doug Martin, Lesean Mccoy, etc. That will be difficult to do, but if you can find someone weak at WR, or find someone who just had a bad week at the WR position, you might be able to swing something. Apparently Foster will split carries with Tate (for now, who knows if that's sustainable), and CJ is by no means a sure-thing on a week to week basis. And in 10 man leagues, you need consistent high performers where you can get them.
