Farmville Inbox Gone

How much data does farmville use?

Play Farmville for a week at your normal rate and check your statement online to see what you are up to, multiply your usage by 4 and you will know what to expect by the end of the month.

Farmville shouldn't use much data per month granted that you are not constantly hitting the refresh button. The game only needs to load mainly when you first get to it and from there is relies on your computers hard drive to play.

How can you send a message in farmville?

You cannot sent a message to your farmville neighbours but you can post a sign post on their farm to read. To place a sign post, go to your neighbours farm and at the top of the farmville window you will see something that looks like a little chat bubble sort of thing with words inside of it. You then type in your message and click post and place it wherever you want on their farm. Easy as 1-2-3!
Hope i helped,

How did Facebook become a multi-billion dollar company without much advertisement?

I'd say the greatest thing they did at the beginning was exclusivity. They launched the first version just for Harvard students and no-one else could get on the platform. This exclusivity made the first users feel much more valued while anyone who's not on the platform was even more eager to get on it later on. The second thing was figuring out their minimum viable product and the features that would create the buzz. In the movie, the Social Network, there's a short scene where Mark has an epiphany about a missing feature - the relationship status. Whether that was a crucial feature or not, that certainly could have been one of the key points that made people talk about Facebook more. If you have read any material on the lean startup method, the launch and development of Facebook ties in very nicely: launch a beta version of a product as a minimum viable product (just enough to test the idea), get feedback from the first clients, tweak it and continue the circle. And you can now see so many platforms that are playing on the exclusivity part to launch their own products: Google+ was at first invite only, Ello - same thing, the Inbox app and Gmail were also invite only at first - and people just can't resist the urge to be a part of something exclusive. My suggestion for any launch: start of with a small exclusive group of people, the so-called early adapters, get their feedback, and have a constant relationship with them. By finding out the 'buzz-generating' feature of your product/service, you will get the first users to become strong brand ambassadors who will then attract others.

Why do weird messages post on Facebook that aren't mine?

I was on Facebook and all these videos to my friends and family advertising stupid stuff were being posted on their walls and it said they were from me but I never posted them. It did it probably close to 25-30 times. Does anyone know why it does this or how to stop it? Thanks.

What are some of the motivations of people who share links to interesting content via email or social networks?

usually one of three: 1 - sense of community and sharing for greater knowledge. 2 - sense of self, either ego or purpose or self-worth 3 - sense of compensation (payment) I see products also falling into these three buckets: 1 - Twitter is (generally) spam-by-subscription - I can selectively follow those who are talking about things that interest me, and I share with things that are interesting to them (community / shared knowledge) 2 - Facebook is spam - I see everything from "had merlot n' cheerios for breakfast" to "play Farmville with me" and little of value in between. This is a broad indictment (so don't take offense) but I see most of the sharing here as having little value, and much as a means of leaving something behind (one of my "friends" is literally using Facebook as their legacy; "I owe it to society to leave my notes for posterity, as this is how I will earn my immortality.").   8^? 3 - Blogs are funding streams - yeah, there are some who are altruistic and want to share, but many of them have devloved into "I rant from my soapbox so you will come, read, disagree with me and click on one of the surrounding ads, which means I make some money.  The more I rant, the more you visit to disagree, and the more chances I have to get a clickthru..."

Facebook does not want people to see what they have Changed for some Reason

Services for this domain have been discontinued?

if it says that "services for this domain have been discontinued", it means that application is no longer working on that domain. so no way to fix it. i just hope that's the real message you got since other users are still using Farmville. or perhaps, it's time to pack up your things and stop using Farmville. learn better things than playing.

What is the best way to connect with possible distant relatives?

I worked with a professional genealogist awhile back. I was able to find the original cyrillic spelling of my mother's maiden name from various sources along with the literal English translation but the name was later "Americanized".

The town my great-grandparents came from in western Ukraine is VERY small. We discovered there were still individuals with the surname (in Cyrillic) living in that town. The name is super uncommon & only found in that region (specifically the city my great-grandparents came from). Although the professional & I were not certain, he said it was highly probable we had cousins (or in general somehow related to these families) but he said this would we need more research. We both came up blank trying to find more info.

While messing around on FB I came across several people with the matching surname & originating in the same city. Shockingly I found one living less than 20 miles from me in the US.

I'd like to connect with these people, specifically the local person, to compare notes - hopefully discredit or prove we are related. The local lady I found is about my age, late 20's. A group she belongs to on FB indicates she is interested in genealogy.

What is the best way to contact her? FB? Look her up in the phone book to call and/or mail a letter? What's the best way to ask if we can compare notes without being too intrusive?
