Fashion Clothes And Trousers Which Is More Important

What is important when you buy clothes and shoes?

Quality and Fabric depends on how much you can spend. Design and Appearance depends solely on your choice. It may wary from person to person. It also depends on the occasion for which the person is purchasing. To each his own. But the only important thing which should be kept in mind is comfortable level. They should fit you well. If fitting is perfect it will automatically make you look good and you will feel comfortable in what you're wearing. If you're comfortable it will naturally  make you feel confident and once you're confident everything else is already taken. You commit a big fashion blunder when you step out of the house not feeling 100% comfy inspite of looking good. And always be yourself. Ne'er try to copy anybody. For some may look good in dresses while there may be some who may look good in sarees. Definition of 'being sexy', 'looking good' differs from person to person. Some may believe in looking sexy by exposing while some may believe in covering the whole body and still look sexy. The only thing matters is how do you carry yourself. Be confident, wear a smile, don't worry what others say and feel good about yourself. There is only this one mantra. If you follow it people will be head over heels in love with you. Nobody will care to check what brand you're wearing and how much did it costs you!

How important are clothes and fashion to you ? why or why not?

EXTREMLY. I feel that my clothes and fashion play largely into who I am as a person. They allow me to express myself and my mood with out saying anything. My sense of style allows me to make a statement, and when I'm wearing an outfit that I feel extra confident in - it just boosts my self esteem. Fashion is a passion of mine, and I truely feel it is a complex art form - and for this reason I have a great respect for it. I believe that the way you look on the exterior largely impacts the way people view you on the interior. I think it's amazing that we can be able to put on clothing that expresses who we are as individuals.

What is the most important feature you look for in the clothes you wear?

I have only 3 criterion that I go by. Here’s what they are in order from most - least important.1. FitEnsuring that a piece of clothing fits is my most important feature that I look for. Reason why is because everyone’s body is different. Clothing needs to accentuate certain features of your body to make you look more aesthetically pleasing. Take for instance my short stature at 5′5″. Wearing a long baggy shirt that you might see most teenagers wear nowadays would make me look even shorter than I am.To compensate, I can wear a fitted button-up shirt that when untucked, the flat front hem ends midway down my zipper.Furthermore, since different brands tend to vary in their versions of sizes, it would be wise to find a brand that gets your fit right and stick with them to stay safe with sizing. For me it’s Oxford’s[1] dress shirts and Dockers[2] for denim jeans and chinos.“If it doesn’t fit, you must aquit”- Johnnie Cochran2. ComfortComfort ties in with fit as having fitted clothing is meant to match your body type and provide free movement. However, it also relates to the fabrics that make you comfortable when worn. If a polyester lining gives me allergic reactions or makes me uncomfortable, then perhaps a silk lining would be more appropriate. If the weather is hot outside, a wool knitted piece of attire would make the wearer feel uncomfortable. So a choice of linen would be better.3. LongevityI like to think of all my clothing as investments and try my best to stay away from fast fashion brands such as H&M and Forever 21. This is because the clothing is made from low quality material and made in such a way that it will eventually deteriorate and cause the consumer to repurchase new merchandise. The designs are also predicated on what’s trending instead of what will still be wearable in the next 3–5 years.Try to base your purchases on what will still be in style in the future. Items that have lasted decades since they first were invented include; brown leather shoes, neutral colour t-shirts and straight leg denim jeans.Hope this helpsFootnotes[1] Mens and Womens Clothing Fashion Online[2] Dockers Alpha Khaki | Dockers®

Which is more important when buying pants: the waist or hip measurement?

This depends on the cut of the jean. For high waisted jeans, I would go with the waist measurement because they actually sit on your wait. For low-rise and even some mid-rise, I would go with the hip measurement, because those pants don’t even reach up to your waist, so your waist measurement is irrelevant in that case. You have to be careful with mid-rise jeans though, because they actually come up to the middle of your belly, right around your bellybutton. So you should take your measurements there as well.

Why do these people treat fashion shows and clothing as if it is all just some art show or exhibition?

Yes, it is about selling clothes -and the more headlines a line can generate the more clothes the line will sell. It's all about getting eyeballs looking at the clothes and the best way to attract the eyeballs and cameras of a jaded fashion press is by doing something weird. Often the weird stuff is hair, make-up and accessories with one truly strange piece of clothing. The rest of a look will be pants, a skirt, blouse or top, dresses, and other commonly worn clothes that have the color or print or silhouette of the odd piece . The weird will drive people to search for a line and then at the website the designer features the pants, the skirt, the dress, the color or the print but not the hair or make-up or odd pieces. And a cleaver designer will make the skirt long enough for daytime wear, the pants a flattering cut for people who have real non model shapes, and the dress will be lined rather than naked. As for models, again it is all about getting eyeballs on the clothes. A designer typically has a few thousand social media followers while some models have millions of instagram followers. That model can get millions of eyeballs to look at a designers clothes and then to a designers media accounts and hopefully to the stores and retail sites. There's the whole "If this model is wearing this designer then maybe I should take a closer look."

So the weird stuff on the big name model did exactly what it was supposed to do: get attention, get people talking, get people looking and get people to look more closely at a designer's line where they will (it is hoped) see clothes that they can wear and fit into their wardrobe.

Someone made fun of me just because of my clothes....?

As the other posters commented, all true.

When I was in your shoes( I won't say how many years ago), pants that were flared, belled, or even "Straight" were considered dorky, and my mother bought me generic brand jeans that were straight-legged (and too wide for fashion).

She could only afford the generic jeans that never made a "long version" so they were always too short and the legs too full.

I sat down with needle and thread and took them in, and while they were still too short, they at least were less wide, and I felt much better.

What you are dealing with is not fashion- its your ability to fit in and be one with your group.

If you were up front in class, and wearing what Paris Hilton herself had in her closet- they would still mock you because you were not wearing what the group is wearing.

It's easy to tell you "don't let it bother you", because, unfortunately, you are mentally wired to worry.

biology is readying you for adult hood- and your mental processes, and those of your class mates are too.

You are HARD WIRED mentally to REALLY CARE about what the group thinks.

You are also wired to question what your parents tell you. This is a process that separates you from your parents- but forces you to mold to the "norms" of your society.

But you live in a fake society that is populated with people your own age- nature did not intend you to be shut in with your peers for long hours each day.

The "norms" of society that really should be that as society as a whole.. is really just a small cross section of it.

You are locked in with people JUST as mentally wired as you to be concerned about conformity.

Ok- but you have to live in it.

Ok- you can't afford cool clothes..

Options:
Babysit/ lawn mow- buy your own clothes

You can take a cheap t-shirt and decorate it. Kits abound.

Go to the mall. investigate the "graphic tee's" and go home and mock them up.

Ever go shopping at good will?

When buying pants, is it more important to get the right waist size or right length if you can't get the perfect size?

It depends on the pants.Jeans?  Shop at a different store.  I have a 29 inch inseam - Walmart occasionally has a pair of jeans I can buy.  (I'm not paying a tailor even $10 to shorten a $10 pair of jeans.)  When they do, if it looks as if I may need a pair soon, I'll grab it.  30 is a bit more common in men's sizes, but still hard to find.  28?  Look in boys for jeans.  28/30 is actually more common in the boys department than the mens department.Expensive pants?  Buy the waist size that's comfortable when you sit.  (Some pants are cut nicely in the waist, small in the back and too tight in the crotch - it's the right waist size, but only if you're not planning on sitting down.  I usually make sure I can do at least a deep squat.)
