I'm currently 5 feet 6 inches (5'6) & I'm 16 years old.
I weigh 165-170. It varies but I'm ALWAYS around that weight . On good days I'm 162-164 lbs.
I feel so insecure when people ask me about my weight, especially when a guy asks me so I usually don't answer. I'm so insecure about wearin a bikini too because my thighs stick but not A LOT A LOT.

Is 129 pounds overweight for a 62 inch 13 year old girl?

In my honest opinion, you can't determine if you are in fact over weight with such general information. Everyone is different. The information or reference people look at to determine if your in a healthy weight range is an average. And based on this general scale, you have a BMI of 23.6 (not exact) placing the BMI-for-age at the 89th percentile for girls aged 13 years (not exact). Using the general scale, it's quite obvious that it's saying you are overweight. BUT, that is the general scale. If you are concern about your weight, talk to a doctor or doctors, and health professionals. Don't do any risky diets or starvation diets either. At one point in my life (i was about 16), I was really overweight (185lbs). So at one point, I decided enough was enough. I was really skinny when i was a kid and fast food had just killed me (in regards to weight). So I ate healthy everyday! Salads, fruits, low fat foods, etc. I ate less; at first it was difficult but I just told myself, "Its just food, its not like the feeling or taste of that food is going to last forever" but after about a week, my body became used to eating less. At the same time, I was exercising a lot more. I was jogging a few miles everyday (a few more each day after) I was doing pull-ups to build some muscle (which helps lose weight as well) and ab -crunches. So in simple terms my plan was eat less, but only healthy foods and exercise more. It worked for me. In about month I had lost 20lbs on my own. The next month I lost another 15lbs. In two month, I was at 150lbs, exactly where i wanted to be. :]
Now, that was my plan of action. Remember, I was skinny as a child so my body was made to be skinny. I'm also a guy so losing weight might be different between sexes.
Anyways, talk to a doctor. They'll give you an honest and professional opinion.
