Favorite Disney Princess And Why

Who is your favorite Disney Princess and why?

Belle is my favorite princess because she was smart and kind. She stuck up for what she knew and believed in as well as held her friends and family close to her heart and did what she could to protect them. She also fell in love with "The Beast" after giving him a chance when he almost didn't deserve one and it wasn't because he was a prince and it wasn't because he was handsome. It was solely because they developed that connection. And while Gaston had been so rude to her she still tried to reason with him and save him when he didn't deserve it.
She was a role model to me growing up :)

Who is your favorite Disney princess? and why?

Ariel. I really love her. I have since I was a kid. And she's so pretty, haha.

Favorite Disney Princess?

I'd have to say Belle from Beauty & The Beast
& Mulan because they weren't like the other Disney Princesses.
As a kid I loved Ariel from the Little Mermaid haha.
I know Alice from Wonderland isn't a Princess but I adore her<3
Soo.. who's your favorite Disney Princess?

Who's your favourite Disney princess?

Although Frozen is not my favourite Disney animation by a long shot, it did introduce me to the princess- nay- queen who I would come to identify with in the most heartfelt way.Elsa.Elsa is such an important Disney royal because she is an easy stand-in for any number of people who are ‘not normal’ and marginalised. Her story has become an allegory for the personal struggles of people who are not het or cis, but also for those who are mentally ill or otherwise neurodivergent. To myself, she’s a mirror into my Avoidant Personality Disorder and my war with depression and anxiety. I identify so so so hard with the unintentional/ill-advised emotional neglect/abuse her parents drive deep inside her, the way she shuts herself away from the world not excluding even the dearest and closest person in the world to her, her psychological need to hide her differentness, the anxiety it caused her, her public freak out, the way she handled it by running away and isolating herself again, the way she believes she’ll only hurt and be hurt if she lets anyone in, without realising the passive damage she’d wreaked in trying to protect herself. But she- and her sister- give people like me a cathartic fantasy of hope; hope for love and acceptance and self-mastery. Which for us, seems like only a pipe dream on most days. Her show-stopping Let It Go number is more to me than a catchy power tune- the lyrics shine straight through my Sickness of Silence and express it in a way I have been patently unable to. It is pure vicarious liberation. And a simultaneous wet-dream to the ill part of my mind; a ‘kingdom of isolation’ is what it desires most. The way she ultimately is redeemed by love, learns to embrace and thereby control her unique qualities, and is in turn accepted and even celebrated by the public at large, is an aspiration and an inspiration both.I love her because I understand her, even if her particular differentness is… well… different… to mine. That’s the nature of empathy, after all. And on some level my connection to her makes me feel connected to the other people who feel a connection to her. That connection helps me feel a little teeny tiny bit less alone.I feel embarrassed expressing all this, but I feel I owe it to Elsa to let it go.[As an additional; I also really like Tiana, Ariel, and Belle, and the Princesses-Who-Aren’t: Pocahontas, Mulan, Moana, Esmeralda, Faline, and Nala.]

Which Disney princess (or prince) is your favorite? Why?

Gah, this is a tough one! But my favorites are a tie between Belle, Cinderella, Snow White & Mulan  As for the Prince, my favorite is Aladdin!Belle:She loves to read (my #1 hobby!), which clearly shows she has an open-mind.She sees beyond appearances. She’s willing to sacrifice herself for her father’s freedom. She stood up to the Beast’s jerk-like attitude during the early stages of their relationship. She knows what kind of man Gaston was & doesn’t fall for him.She defies society’s expectations of her.Cinderella:She remains kind & gentle to her stepfamily who abused her & treated her like crap for years. This is her way of sending an indirect message to her stepfamily that she won’t let them break her spirit, or make her stoop to the same level as them. Because she knows what kind of people her stepfamily are: bitter & jealous. She simply wanted to have one night of fun for herself. Unlike Snow White & Aurora, who dreamed of love & finding their princes, Cinderella never says anything about finding a man or love. She can be slightly sarcastic.Contrary to popular belief, she is NOT a pushover.Snow White:She keeps a positive outlook on life despite the years of abuse she suffered from her stepmother. She appreciates even the smallest things. She has a strong sense of empathy. When she entered the dwarfs cottage for the first time, she saw how unkempt it was. Initially she assumed the inhabitants were children. She said, “You think their mother would…”, then she gasped, before she said, “Maybe they have no mother. Then they’re orphans! That’s too bad.” it was at this moment where Snow White realized that these “children” were just like her: orphans, have to fend off by theirselves. So she took the intiative to clean the cottage, because she didn’t want these “children” to suffer the same thing like her. She knows how it feels to be an orphan. She became a mother figure for the 7 dwarfs despite her young age.Her inner strength & resilience. This shows that being strong doesn’t mean being physically tough.Mulan:Like Belle, she defies society’s expectations of her.She values her family so much that she tried to please them by trying to be the ideal Chinese woman even though she failed. She shows that women are just as capable as men.

Who's your LEAST favorite Disney Princess?

Ariel by far! Each Disney princess has something a bit tolerable about them...but not Ariel! Her stupid, ugly daughter works my nerves too. I had a whole paragraph of ranting of why she's my least favorite and why she was a spoiled, obnoxious POS, but I was suspended days after that post...so gotta take precautions. Lol.

I also despise Princess Jasmine with a fiery passion, but that's another story...

What is your favorite Disney princess movie?

I watched Tangled probably a month ago and I swore that Tangled was my new favorite Disney movie since it incorporated all of my favorite aspects of the other Disney movies.
There may be spoilers...
Aladdin- A thief and a rebel princess
The Little Mermaid- Almost kissing scene on a boat with a beautiful song
Cinderlla- coniving stepmother and two goons
Sleeping Beauty- life giving kiss
Beauty and the Beast- magical flower and a change of heart of the prince

I can't recall anymore at the moment but I just loved the hair!!! omg i've been so obsessed with the movie and Flynn Riders voice is to dye for its so handsome!

And then today I rewatched Aladdin and I have to say Aladdin tops Tangled. Aladdin is by far my favorite, then Tangled then Beauty and the Beast.
