What was your favorite Pokemon in the Pokemon games while growing up? Mine must have been Greninja or Umbreon.
Honestly, I've been in love with strong fast pokemon that know switching moves since I saw Beedrill. I started by playing gen 2, then moved on to 3, then 6, and now 7. My favorite has switched from Beedrill, to Amibipom, to Persian, even to Raticate for a little while, but has never been legendaries. I may use legendaries for my playthroughs, but I always try to keep them underleveled. Anyway, back to topic. I’ve kind of stayed with three, however, and here they are-Beedrill- I mainly love Beedrill for its mega form. It's really fast, has adapability for its epic dual typing that gives it an advantage, and has a decent move set, with things like Drill Run, and Fell Stinger to add to U-Turn, X Scissor, and Poison Jab. The 145 Speed stat is amazing, and the 150 ATK star makes it better. It's the third fastest, and third strongest bug type, and both the strongest and fastest poison type. It's just great. I also love the design. Those massive stingers and the bottom tells you that if you try to even touch this thing, you're going to die. Period. The eyes add to the effect.Meloetta- Honestly, I don't see what's not to like about Meloetta. Clean and elegant design, which turns into a beautiful one with relic song, and a great move set to talk about both its physical, and special forms. The normal typing gives it an advantage against ghosts, and the psychic typing switching to fighting after Relic Song really gives it the edge over common threats to it like Greninja. It can learn Ice Punch, helping flushing types, and when you think you've got it walled with a special block like chansey, it can pull a psy shock out of nowhere. Finally, it has two forms. Have I mentioned that it can change with a Relic a Song yet?Honchkrow- An amazing mon, in general. This one is because of moxie and sucker Punch. The three steps to beating a Pokemon are- 1. Use Taunt. 2. Use Suker Punch. 3. Watch as the opponent forfeit. It may be another bird, but it got me through the gen 6 and gen 7 elite fours, and I love it. My Honchkrow’s name is Loki, because of the set I just told you.
What's your favorite Pokemon game and why?
Pokemon Emerald is my favorite. This might sound weird but the game had a sense of grandness on many levels. First off, there is light practically everywhere and it gives a sense of that day time liveliness. I know in Pokemon Black and White there should be a that sensation in Castelia City because there are so many people but the insufficient lighting of the "sun" kind of loses it. Second, the sizes of everything (characters, buildings) fit very well together. This my favorite quality about the game, the way that the graphics give emphasis on the enviornment rather than everything else, this gives it a better sense of exploration and mystery. Adding to that are the different environments one gets to explore. The game starts in a regular town, and you travel around through grasslands, Beaches, Meteor Caves, City, Desert, Savanna, a Volcano, Underwater exploration, you ride a Cable Car and the action happens in a well timely manner. Third, the story makes sense for the most part. Then the Pokemon Emerald exclusive that was not present in Ruby and Sapphire is the Battle Frontier, a lively place where you battle to test your real skill. You also had access to the things you wanted such as items and Pokemon pretty much at your disposal. You didn't have to rush through part of a story or parts of the exciting parts in order to get something (except for the battle frontier, if that was all you looked forward to in the game). You never lose the feeling that everything is larger than it actually appears in the game. That feeling is later emphasized in the game's credits. There were specific elements such as the cool Metagross, Salamence, Latios, Latias, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, tension kind of just builds and as you find them you explore more territory, get more story or items along the way. Okay, I know I'm putting a lot of emphasis on this, the sun, distribution of water and land and the beauty of the environment are things that I highly look for in games and even in Anime and this game has that. Lastly, it is fun kicking *** in the game than in others for whatever reason. Of course there are some aspects that I hate about it too. Some like the Pokemon center, something about it was a total turn off, there was no global internet connection yet, so no Global trade station or random match-ups or WiFi Battle Subway Train (not like battling in a train is a turn on). Still, it is still my favorite game.
Can i trade pokemon from my DS Lite to a 3DS XL?
Yes, the DS system does not matter - DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL, 3DS, 3DS XL. You can trade with all of those systems, the thing that matters with Pokémon would be the games themselves. You'd be able to trade between Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver. You'd be able to trade between Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Black 2 and White 2. However with the Gameboy Advanced games of Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen and Emerald, you can only use the original DS or the DS Lite in order to migrate Pokémon from those over to Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver, in addition to that, both games will have to match in language for it to work. You can also send Pokémon from Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and/or SoulSilver over to Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Black 2 or White 2 but that would require the use of 2 DS systems and because of how this was programmed, both games will also need to match in language as well for the Poké Transfer Lab function to work properly.
What's your least favorite Pokémon?
Design: KlefkiThis was just a dumb pokemon from the start.Trubbish? Awesome, Muk v2.Kling? Magnemite v2.Vanillite? Not a fan, even with its canon reason for looking like that. But Klefki? Oh no, Klefki’s just terrible. Look at it, it’s keyrings! There is no hiding it. There is no excuse for it to be like that. If it was Ghost/Steel I could see it as a Yokai which are rife among pokemon. Its actually based on folk lore of these fairies that steal small things, but almost everything would have been a better design than a key ring. For example, a necklace would have looked better. It would even look very similar, but it would still look better.Genuine hatred: Bellsprout(^Specifically that one)Charizard used Flamethrower, Charizard missed!Bellsprout used Stun Spore, Charizard is paralysed!Bellsprout used Wrap!Charizard is unable to move! (-1HP)Bellsprout used Wrap!Charizard is unable to move! (-1HP)Bellsprout used Wrap…MOTHER FU—Generic dislike: Froakie and GreninjaThis is a very hipster belief of mine, I just don’t think they’re as good as everyone is saying. You hear people say Froakie is adorable and is the cutest pokemon. Um then what do you say about these ones?Or what about people who say Greninja has the coolest design?I think all this bias comes from how lackluster the Starters of Gen 6 were. Let’s see, you have a Rodent that evolves into a Wooden Mech, a fox that turns into crossdressing (87.5% of the time) mage, and a frog that turns into a ninja frog. I think the choice is obvious out of that line up. That was like asking people if they wanted a frog, turtle, or the Dragon. No competition.I don’t understand all this fan praise for Greninja. I assume it’s all forced by Nintendo. You love him because Nintendo forces him on you. Ash got a Greninja, Super Smash Bros 4 got a Greninja, so much external promotional work with things like posters and events.Greninja and Froakie are just overrated to me.
Screen flickering in pokemon games?
Every once in a while in Pokemon Platinum (I've seen it happen in other versions too) the screen will flicker every few seconds and then stop. It happens for a reason and its not just a glitch, I think. I just can't figure out what it means. Anyone know? If you don't know what I'm talking about, sorry, I probably didn't describe it very well.
Trade Pokemon between GBA emulator and DS lite?
there is no way to trade between emerald(or games before)to diamond/pearl(and forth), not even on the real console, however u can "import" pokemons from leafgreen/firered,sapphire,ruby,emerald, but it has to be in the same console,eg:emerald in slot 2(GBA) and diamond in slot 1(NDS), i doubt u can "import" or even trade from emulator to console(i've also been looking for days and cant find anything).
