Fear Of Urinating Yourself. How Do I Stop Being So Scared

How can I stop getting scared after watching a horror movie?

Yes. I use these two techniques personally. I'm so shit scared that when I need to pee in middle of the night I probably need someone outside the bathroom door keeping a watch for me (just in case those fictional characters were real and would come to kill me at night while peeing. Haha yes, mind doesn't work by logic at night.)Technique No. 1 -So the technique number 1 is to watch it in mute. Unmute when dialogues are being said. But keeping it on mute will allow you to be not that scared when something or someone suddenly appears.Sound effects of these movies make it more scary.Another psychological hack with this is that watching it on mute won't let you completely submerge in the scary atmosphere, you'd be able to differentiate between what's a real world and fiction.Hence, you'd be way more less scared.Technique No. 2 —So this may sound stupid but it works. So be with me here. I use it. It does help.Step 1 - Make your friends or family watch it with you.Step 2 - When you start feeling scared, make jokes on the movie, make fun of it.The psychology behind this is to ridicule it that your brain knows it's not supposed to take the scary movie seriously. And hence, to not get scared.I hope this helped you. Happy Scary-loween!

My cat urinated from being scared?

my husband and i have 2 cats. Honey (tabby-3y/o) and Pepper (siamese mix-1y/o) they both normaly sleep on our bed at night and last night at 5 am we were woken up by Pepper leaping off our bed then pacing around the room crying (meowing) then after a minute or so she came to us in bed and wanted us to pet her. We noticed the back half of her was soaked and we got up to look and she had peed (urinated) on the bed and herself. She has never done this before. she has never urinated or defecated outsied her litter box. Is this a sign of fright? did something scare her so badly she urinated? does it sound like she could have a urinary problem or something else medical?

Too scared to ejaculate?

I'm a teen guy and I masturbate sometimes but whenever I feel like I'll orgasming I can't help but stop because tbh I'm scared of ejaculating, it feels like I'm going to pee all over myself and I don't know what semen looks or smells like and where it will go, etc

But I have major blue balls or whatever so is it possible to orgasm without ejaculating?

I disciplined/scared my toddler and he peed himself.?

Twice now it has happened. I have reacted to my almost 3 year old boy being purposely disobedient with an unexpected outburst of physically grabbing him and pulling him to my attention and telling him sternly that he is not to act that way. This was followed by him wetting his pants. The first time this happened it made me feel terrible, like I was dealing with a little puppy, and now after this time, I fear that I have crossed some line, with respect to terrifying my child, to the point that he involuntarily wets himself. I told him I was sorry for grabbing him, and know I shouldn't have reacted so strongly, but I want to know if my behaviour is psychologically damaging to my developing child. I am not abusive, at least I don't think so, I don't hit them, nor spank them, I raise my voice from time to time, but only a handful of times now have I been at the end my ropes and overreacted in a quasi-physical way, like I explained. A professional opinion would be greatly appreciated. As I am a person of conscience, I would like to know where the line is drawn.

Why do some people urinate in extreme fear situations, while sympathetic nervous system stops urination?

When your body experiences fear it goes into a fight-or-flight response. Say for instance you are face-to-face with a grizzly bear. Your sympathetic nervous system will kick in, adrenaline will flow through your body, and you will make the split decision to either fight or flee. In order to be successful in your fight-or-flight response, your body tries everything it can to help you be successful. For instance, your blood vessels dilate so that blood can flow more easily and rapidly to your extremities to help oxygenate them to give them “fuel”. Your muscles will also tense up in order to strengthen them in your response. And when it comes to urination, your body knows that emptying a full bladder will aid in your response to a fear by making it easier to fight and flee with an empty bladder as opposed to a full bladder weighing you down.

I'm so afraid of wetting myself in public that I wear disposable diapers. How can I stop doing this?

I think i was about 10, and i was sick with tonsalitis.(how ever you spell it, the thing when you get a sore throat). And it hurt that much all i did was drink litres and litres of water. Not going to the toilet before bed, i wet myself. And for about a year and a half, i was scared i was going to do it again, so i used to get a pillow and put it into my legs, and for some strange reason, it made me feel like i wasnt going to do it. embarrasing i know.
And i always got soooo worried when we had to go on long drives to places, cos i always needed to ask my parents for the toilet.
But now i go to the toilet every night before bed, and dont drink anything in the car. It seems to pass, sooner or later. So dont worry, you'll get over it soon. =]

hope this helps =]

Why the hell do dogs poop and pee when scared?

My dog won't stop peeing and pooping when he's scared. Also, my boyfriend's dog ALWAYS pees when people pet him (he's a dachshund). So, you can imagine what it's like when that dumb dog meets someone new. My dog, on the other hand, will not ******* move when he's scared.. he will just sit there and poop and pee while you squirt water in his face or yell at him. Why the hell are my dogs so ******* dumb????? Oh yeah, and he barks at everything... like... he'll let you know when a leaf falls to the ground and stuff. We yell "Shut up!!" but he gets louder and doesn't stop... it's like "no" means "yes" and "yes" means "yes" also, to that damn dog. He's a little dachshund but his voice is louder that our big dog. He just won't hold anything in, whether it comes to his dumb barks or his dumb excrements.
