Feeling Dizzy All Of Sudden Cause

What would cause someone to feel dizzy after eating sugar?

Eating sugar increases blood flow to the gut, and reduces levels of certain hormones and causes a small drop in blood pressure. Maybe you should check your blood-pressure before and after eating, and let your doctor know the figures.

Possible causes of sudden dizziness?

I skipped lunch today to study in the library with a friend and after we walked to class together I was overcome by sudden dizziness and my hands were trembling slightly. Both went away after I had eaten something. I'm very confused because I have never become dizzy after skipping a meal before and I also had a big breakfast so I shouldn't have been hungry or succumbed to dizziness.

Why do i feel dizzy all of a sudden?

Either low blood pressure or low blood sugar levels can be an account to dizziness.

Dizziness can be a side effect of any medication, it can also be to lost of sleep or too much sleep.
You don't have to get up fast to feel dizzy.. I suffer from it and it's horrible.

There is not a lot that you can do about dizziness other than learn to see what helps you..
Like with me, a glass of water helps relieve it..

maybe talk to your doctor..

Sudden dizziness and feeling of almost fainting?

Today at school, I was listening to music in my school's library during my English class when I had my head on my hand, staring at the computer screen when all of a sudden, I got a head rush and dizzy feeling. For a second, I thought I would pass out and slam my face on the table. I didn't though. The feelings went away after 3 seconds, but my anxiety quickly came rushing at me. It made me weak and numb all over. I was scared cuz I had no idea what happened. I think I suffer from anxiety (I get a new fear that I can't control and it makes me worry for weeks, sometimes months, considering what I fear.) The dizzy feelings have happened to me probably two or three times already this year. This never happened to me before I turned 13. Later, I noticed that a few kids, even one of my teachers, felt dizzy and that they were gonna pass out. I don't know why but, it was a strange coincidence to me cuz of that. What is this?

Feeling dizzy from Zinc supplements. Help??

This is nothing extreme, but about a week ago, I purchased a 100 tablet Zinc container. (50mg)
I have been taking one every day and everything seemed alright. (The first few days at least.)
Suddenly, I noticed myself feeling slightly dizzy. I kept taking one 50mg zinc tablet a day and the dizziness continued. Whether I was walking or driving. I felt light headed. Keep in mind...I don't think I have a Zinc deficiency at all. I simply bought them because I heard Zinc was good for you. Could this be the reason I am suddenly feeling light headed all the time? This NEVER happened before I bought those Zinc pills.

Feeling dizzy and head pressure?

Well I have in fact had this happen to me. On more than 1 occasion. But the first time it happened I was playing around on the Comp. and my head felt like squeezing and pressure! Like I sorta felt it on my brain.(not sure if that is how you felt) And I started to freke out. I got up and was walking towards my couch when I did get dizzy. I didn't feel like I was going to pass out or black out..anything like that. Just very dizzy. I layed down and it didn't go away for awhile. I was scared. It happened nearly every day for about 2 weeks. I went to the docs and they didn't know what was wrong with me. I thought I had a brain tumor. I went to 1 last doctor and she told me it was infact panic attack. Now you may not be having a panic attack..I literally thought she was a looney tune for even suggestion that. I have never felt anxious before!! So anyways I went with what she said and started Zoloft. Once it kicked in (5 weeks for me) I felt fine. And though I have had to change my meds. I don't have those feelings much anymore. Though a week ago I got really scared because my mom got bit by a brown recluse spider and was in the Hospital I felt like I had major pressure on my head and I felt very dizzy. I hope this has helped. So that is my idea..I'm not doctor. Good Luck

Contacts suddenly making me dizzy?

Dizziness is caused by an inner ear imbalance. Dry eyes and the contacts themselves cannot cause dizziness. What can cause dizziness is the perception of things that you get from your field of vision. For example, people will often feel dizzy on a boat or if they read while riding in a car. Anything that causes a distortion in your vision or in what your brain is perceiving can cause you to be dizzy.

My best guess is that your prescription needs to be changed. Have you ever gotten a new pair of glasses and felt like the ground was coming up to meet you? The same thing may be happening with your contacts. Even though you said they are a new prescription, changes in the shape of the cornea can happen quite suddenly. And suddenly, you need a new prescription even though it was only two months ago that you got a new prescription. If the prescription for the contacts is much stronger than your glasses, switching back and forth may cause this too. Again, there is the fact that the onset of dizziness occurred about six weeks after getting the new contacts.

I wouldn't ignore this. How can you anyway, it would drive you nuts to be dizzy like that. Go to the optometrist and have it checked out.
