Feeling Faint After Urinating

Why do we feel weak after donating blood?

Its more of a feeling of "lightness" than weakness. It is caused by the lowered blood sugar to the brain. Your blood sugar has lowered because the amount of blood taken also had a certain amount of blood sugar. Since it is suddenly missing, the body reacts poorly to this loss of sugar.  The symptoms include onset of nausea, headaches, shakiness, paresthesia, hunger, fatigue...and so on. However, to quickly deal with hypoglycemia directly after a substantial loss of blood, sit with your head to your knees (parallel to the floor), as this lowers your brain and facilitates the blood-flow to the brain, allowing more blood sugars to reach it quickly. However, having carbohydrate-rich foods cure this.  It will help normalize the sudden change in blood sugar and will help you feel more normal sooner. The "Weakness" you feel is due to the sudden loss of blood pressure due to the blood loss but the body compensates this loss by retaining fluid in the kidneys by concentrating the urine.

Is it normal to frequently urinate and feel a bit dizzy after having amazing grass (alkalize and detox)?

You're dehydrated. Diuretics can make you lose too much salt. Add Himalayan or Celtic salt to your water, or make Sole and have a tsp. of that in the morning to prevent dehydration and low blood pressure. What is Sole and How to Make it | Wellness Mama

Why am I urinating and feel dizzy?

There are several different reasons why you could be urinating and feeling dizzy. I will list the different things it COULD be from and how it happened.Micturition Syncope: Micturition occurs when someone has temporary loss of consciousness, you'll start urinating. If you're feeling dizzy, it could be from anything really, since I'm not a genius I won't have the most specified answer, but it could be from low blood sugar, labyrinthitis, hypotension, menieres  disease, and high blood pressureWhat each one means:Low blood sugar: low blood sugar means when your blood sugar is low. It's called diabetes. Low blood sugar can be a dangerous condition. It affects the body's ability to regulate blood sugar.Labyrinthitis: labyrinthitis is a disorder of the inner ear which means that movement becomes inflamed. It causes dizziness, nausea, and potentially loss of the hearing. It could be permanent.Hypotension: hypotension is a medical term for low blood sugar. Sometimes it could be good, but it MIGHT lead to dizziness.Menieres disease: this is another disorder if the ear, it can also cause permanent loss of the hearing part caused by the fluid of the inner ear, it could only affect one ear too.High blood sugar: high blood sugar gives you a high chance of getting a heart attack, stroke, coronary heart disease, and other serious health issues. Not having it treated causes damage to the vessels, and organs.Sorry I barely did anything about urinating, but I knew more about the dizziness part. I hope this helped anyone who has this happening to them.

Why am I urinating a lot and feeling dizzy?

I have this same condition as you and I feel compelled to reply. I never really believe doctors so I take matters into my own hands. I discovered that it is electrolytes imbalance that causes me to urinate frequently and at the same time I feel dizzy. I feel insatiable hunger as well although eating not too long ago, all of these symptoms are very much similar to diabetes. When I have these symptoms I simply eat an orange with salt and drink some water. I gradually feel better after 10 minutes, the urge to go to toilet and hunger stop magically.Orange contains essential electrolytes that our bodies need, some people lose them more easily if they are prone to sweating or other factors. You may google other fruits or vegetables for electrolytes imbalance, but I think orange is kind of a quick fix. Realistically speaking, you have to supply your body with electrolytes regularly to prevent these symptoms from happening. If your symptoms disappear after following my suggestion, it’s likely that you have the same problem as mine. Well, it’s better safe than sorry, you may want to see a doctor for this.

What causes burning after peeing?

The number one cause is some type of urinary infection. However, there is at least another reason. I do not remember the official diagnosis, but I had constant burning after urinating for a couple of years. I had been on antibiotics routinely, but mine was not caused by a normal infection. I had several cystoscopies. Then, finally my urologist told me one day that he wanted to do another cystoscopy that day in the office. I had no anesthesia this time. He looked around inside my bladder for several minutes and then he said “Oh, I see what the problem is now”. Then, he started changing instruments around with the scope. He ended up putting in a 3 pronged probe and attached it to a place on the inside of my bladder. Shortly, he was going to take a biopsy much to my chagrin. His next statement was “You are going to feel a slight tug”. My next reaction was quite dramatic. I was not expecting the pain as he pulled the scope out in one swift motion. It hurt like crazy. He had filled my bladder with water(I assume distilled but it may have had in some type of chemicals in it). I then released a fairly large volume of bloody liquid. I continued to have bloody urine for 3 - 5 days. The end result is that the biopsy was tested and it came back with a non-specific inflammation of the bladder. The result was that he gave me a white pill(do not remember the name of the prescription) to take for about 6 months. The burning went away after a few months, but it took quite a long time to find out why. I did smoke cigarettes pretty heavily back then and that may have been part of the cause. Or it may have been the result of a previous infection and it took a different prescription to get rid of the inflammation inside the bladder. Either way, I found that burning may not always result from a current infection. So, if you have burning after urination, go see your primary care physician and they can recommend a good urologist (or possibly a gynecologist for females) in your area. You should not live with burning anytime near urination. It can also be a sign of something more serious, but only your physician can determine. Usually, the first check is to get a sample of clean urine(you will wipe around your urethra prior to urinating). They usually do a standard urinalysis in the office and then can send the rest for a culture to determine any infection. Good luck.

Is it normal to urinate the color of the vitamin b12 injection after taking it?

vitamin b12 is a very subtle effect. I was suffering from fatigue years ago (despite having a healthy diet and exercising alot) and the doctor prescribed ultra high-dose b12 pills for me to take (something like 4000% daily dose). When I asked her why it was so high she told me that b12 is notoriously difficult for the body to absorb naturally through the stomach lining (through foods OR orally injested vitamins). She told me that injections might be an option but I'd have to find a clinic and they could be expensive.

After much research, I found a high quality injectable b12 vitamin online:

The bottom line is (sorry for the long-winded post)....I started noticing the b12 injections almost immediately but the effect is subtle. It's not like a caffeine buzz or anything like that. It's more akin to the buzz after a yoga workout. When you're really start to notice it is after NOT taking it for awhile.

The other thing to note is that b12 is one of the vitamins that water soluble...which means it doesn't build up in your body but any excess amounts simply exit via the urine stream - so you can't really overdose. That is likely the reason, however, that your urine might be colored. It's nothing to worry about but as always...make sure and drink lots of water and good luck w/ your b12 shots!

Why did I pass out and pee after donating blood?

I was fine the lady took the needle out. Then I started feeling fuzzy and when I woke up I found out I had peed. I'm in high school. Idk like is it normal and have any of you had that happen or someone that happened to?

Collapses / losing consciousness during / after urinating?

Fainting while you pee is called micturition syncope. This, er, actually translates to 'fainting while you pee', but if you have the Latin term it'll make it easier to search for more about the condition. It also means it's common enough to have a medical term.

http://www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/4000073... is full of technical talk about the symptom, but translated it says, roughly:

Anyone getting this should be monitored, in case there is a heart problem or other underlying problem. So he does need to see a doctor. However, it's entirely possible that he will just be stuck with fainting when he pees (called benign micturition syncope and meaning 'he faints when he pees but it won't kill him), in which case the only course is to take precautions such as making sure he's not going to fall onto anything sharp and not locking the bathroom door.

Extreme Thirst & Frequent Urination?

First of all I am a 20 year old female that has always been over all very healthy..over the past month or so I have been unusually thirsty. At first I thought I was just dehydrated because in the past I have typically not drank very much water & then one day I just craved it, but now that it has been going on for over a month maybe even two now, I'm starting to get concerned.
In just 2 days I drank an entire pack of water bottles and no matter how much I drink I am never satisfied. I literally feel like I drink a bottle every 15 minutes and urinate every 5-10. I know it's not a UTI because I have had one before, this is different lots of urine comes out and it's clear.
Also at night I wake up every few hours extremely thirsty that I have had to start keeping a pack of water bottles next to my bed. I drink 2 to 2 in a half and then pee. It is insane.
My friend told me I could have diabetes, but it doesn't run in my family & I am in fairly good shape.
Others symptoms that i don't know if they relate are weight loss, fatigue, depression, and sick feeling.. although I am also going through a break up and a mass amount of stress from school.
Please give me feedback!!

Why did I just feel dizzy and nauseous right after finishing my pee?

You drank it too quickly. har har har Seriously though,I have no idea if you are male or female, but if you are male and prostate enlargement causes you to bear down using a valsalva technique(raising the poressure within your body cavity by bearing down while holding your breath-similar to the action of straining for a difficult bowel movement) to force urination, or if you are a female who was sitting while urinating and then stood up from a sitting position, in both isntances your symptomology could be the result of your body experiencing a drop in blood pressure after the release of the valsalva pressure, or after standing up to quickly. Google “Orthostatic Hypertension”.
