Feeling Tired All The Time .sleep Eight Hours At Night Four More Than I Usually Sleep And Like Two

Is it physically possible to sleep while on LSD?

In the heady days of my youth, I did waste a few hours of a few good trips by falling asleep.  So... in my experience, it is possible... yes.... you weren't expecting some medical thing with charts and graphs were you?EDIT:  If you are trippin balls right now, and you feel like you have to get some sleep because you need to work or go to school in the morning, I can't really help you with that.  If you had started doing something REALLY physical at the beginning of the trip (like going to a festival show and dancing for 4-5 hours), then maybe you could fall asleep in the passenger seat on the way home.  But if you dropped last night, and it is 3 am, and you are staring at the clock going "omgomgomgomgomg I have to get up in the morning, why can't I SLEEP!  I think I'm stuck like this it isn't going to stop this time"....... then again, I can't really help with that.  You could try a nice warm blanket and some hot chocolate... maybe a boring western on the TV?

As a high school student, how much sleep do you usually get each night?

Wish I got as much sleep as these people.I usually sleep from about 1-5 am, even though I don't have to wake up until 7. During the beginning of the school year I have marching band, so it's not uncommon for me to stay up until 2 am doing homework. Rehearsal ends at 9 and I have an hour after school to do homework. Not much time there. But now it is off season and I don't have much homework since it's AP testing time. Why do I still not get sleep? It causes physical pain.Unfortunately, bad knee problems run on both sides of my family, so I got them really bad. Bad enough that the pain is no longer in my knee itself, but it puts a lot of strain in my back. Laying down is just about the most uncomfortable thing for it, so of course I hate going to sleep. It sucks. It gets worse when you have a dog that has farts that smell so bad they wake you up at 3 am… don't give dogs wet food. Or antibiotics. Puking and farting is not fun to deal with when you're trying to sleep. So usually I get about 4 hours, but as of right now it's been about 3 due to my dog’s surgery. Not sure how I function. Believe it or not I still play sports and have good grades. Eh, I'll catch up on sleep over the summer.

I want to play games, but my body wants to sleep. What should I do?

How important is it to sleep right now?Do you have to go to school/work tomorrow and you’re running out of time to sleep?Have you been awake so long that you’re suffering from sleep deprivation? Is your significant other in bed and asking you to come to bed with him/her?If the answer to any of those is yes, than you should go to bed.If the answer to all of them is no, and you’re just tired, but you really want to keep playing? Well, in that case play as long as you want. Just make sure to take bathroom breaks and to eat when it’s appropriate. There are times when I’ve played games far past the point of being exhausted, but I’ve never let it endanger my job/schoolwork/relationships.Ok that’s a lie, I have, but I do try not to let it endanger any of those things. Sometimes I’ve failed at that, but thankfully I’ve never gotten fired over a game or failed a test. I’ve just had some long nights at work where I go in exhausted.

What is the amount of time that an IIT-aspirant should study?

Amount of time depends solely on you.Study till the time you feel that you are making productive use of your time and not just simply wasting it.Routine should be such like go to bed at mid-night and wake up early before the sun rises ……That’s what elders say…but not true actually….. Go to bed only when you feel that you made your day successfully spend. Our physics HOD at Allen used to tell each and every one of us there that you are actually supposed to take a “Sanyas” before dreaming of IIT i.e. free yourself from each and every distracting stuff present around you . Firstly you need to convince yourself of why IIT?.I had and most of the students studying at IIT/BITS or any other nice college, will surely give his/her reason of why he/she had spent his 2–3 yrs of life like Hell .I can tell you my daily routine .Had my coaching regularly at early 8 . comes to home at around 4 pm. then slept for around a hour .Sleep is very important in these days but note /not only sleep/ .. :> .. Spend as much time as possible with your parents they are the one’s who’ll always motivate you . Study hard for 5 hrs. need not to sit tightly or continuously but while studying study .Many students have a general mentality that solving so many books of a subject will make their subject strong, which is obviously not true.Regarding books i’ll suggest you, to first solve your coaching packages and make them so strong that you’ll be able to answer any question from that package at any time. When done with them ask your teacher regarding book of a particular subject in which you find difficulty. He is the only one who’ll guide you better.Got nothing else to say.But there is one thought in my mind :Dont stop when you are tired .. Stop when you are done.Pranshu SinghalBitsian

How does lack of sleep affect human mood?

Sleep plays an important role in regulating human mood. In the vast majority of people, sleep lifts mood. That is to say, sleep leaves them more happy than they would have been without it. There are some patients with depression where sleep actually lowers mood, leaving them more depressed. If you experience this, you should contact a health professional, not just sleep less: Sleep has many other important functions as well.Studies show that when you wake people during REM sleep (where the most vivid dreams are), dreams early in the night tend to be less pleasant and sometimes much worse than their actual daily life. But as the night progresses, dreams tend to become more pleasant and fanciful. It is most likely not the content of the dreams themselves that lift mood, but rather some underlying process in the brain.Another role of REM sleep in particular is to regulate primal emotions such as hunger, sex drive and aggression. It seems that the strong flow of neural impulses that passes through our more primitive brain centers serve as a kind of outlet or regulator of drives. People who lack sleep, or who have their REM sleep suppressed by drugs, tend to overeat and experience poor impulse control more generally.

How can I reduce dark circles?
