Headaches, dizzy feeling and just weak/tired all the time?

For at least a month now I've just been feeling not myself. Everyday that goes by I'm extremely tired, weak, dizzy, feel like I'm going to through up and headache that come and go. I'm not pregnant, I've had a blood to that was negative and I've taken four home pregnancy text that were all negative. I'm to the point where I just cry because I want to feel better so I can get things done around the house. I've had some recent blood work done for thyroid and a lot of other things from a health fair we had for my husband's health insurance. Everything was in normal range. I've also been having some body aches. Two weeks ago I had a cold. Cough and the whole 9 yards. Went to the ER they said it was a upper respiratory infection and sent me on my way. I got better about two days after my ER visit. Then this past Wednesday I woke up sick again with this cold or whatever it is except the cough is worse now and I'm coughing up green mucus. My ears also hurt. One minute it's the left ear the later it's the right? If anybody can help me out that would be great. I've been calling my doctor but every time I have to leave a voice-mail and nobody at the office ever returns my calls. I don't really want to go to the ER again because they never take anybody serious. 24 year old female! Thanks!

What if I have had mild headaches for 6 months and feel tired?

There are too many things this could be from (and not enough specific symptoms! headache and fatigue is very vague), to answer over the internet. If you have not had headaches previously, or this is a new pattern, or if it is bothersome, or if the fatigue is bothering you and does not seem to be caused by your sleep schedule, poor sleep hygeine, too much work, not enough activity or recreation, or some kind of resolveable stress: Then you will want to see your doc. The doc should take a full medical history, listen carefully, and form a hypothesis about what is causing your symptoms. There may be some tests to rule out certain things, and if you have not been in a while there should be some normal screening tests, like CBC w/ diff (because of the fatigue they should order it that way: they can look for signs of allergy, for instance), metabolic panel, vitamin D (particularly given the fatigue--but you may have to ask for this one, and consider asking about other vitamin and mineral tests as well, especially vitamin B, but keep in mind that it is beginning to appear that synthetic folic acid, such as used to enrich bread, may cause a false normal in the B12 test), cholesterol, and any routine cancer screenings that might be indicated. The tests and hypothesis should lead to a care plan, which you should be allowed to help decide on. If it does not make sense to you, ask more questions. The doc should listen to your questions and concerns carefully, and modify things if needed. If this is not happening or if the doc is highly opinionated (with an opinion that doesn't seem workable or useful to you) and you still feel you need help, go see a different doc. ps,Symptom Checker from WebMD. Why do I have a problem of headache and feeling tired, sleepy whole day?

Only a doctor who had the chance to examine you can give you a proper diagnosis. If I had to guess, I’d say that you simply don’t get enough quality sleep. If you sleep between 11 pm and 6 am, you’ve got 7 hours, but you probably don’t sleep the moment that you hit your cushion, so that’s probably another 30 minutes to an hour gone.My recommendation: Go to bed earlier, or sleep in if you can. Feeling tired usually means you don’t get enough quality sleep.Another point: people sleep in cycles.[1] To get a good night sleep, you need to go through all stages. If you’re woken straight from your deep stage 3 sleep, or from your REM sleep (when you’re dreaming) before you had a chance to rest, you’ll notice this as still feeling tired and sleepy while awake. This can even happen if you’re in bed for longer than the recommended amount.Image credit: Sleep - Types and Stages of Sleep - Sleep CyclesIf sleeping for a longer period of time doesn’t help, consult a doctor or a specialized sleeping clinic to find out if you’re perhaps suffering from a sleeping disorder. A visit to your doctor is a good idea anyway, because headaches and feeling tired, can be symptoms to health issues which they need to examine and exclude.Footnotes[1] Sleep - Types and Stages of Sleep - Sleep Cycles

Hot and cold, tired, headache, nauseous, loss of appetite, weak..?

About two days ago I started not feeling well. Yesterday I was sooo hot as I was lying in bed, I was even sweating. I feel a slight sense of nausea and I don't really feel hungry at all and don't have much of an interest in eating. Yesterday I also had the worst headache and I never get headaches. I to home yesterday and all I did was sleep till I had to wake up for school. Today I still hve a slight headache but not as bad. I am also freezingggg! I came home and took a half hour shower and made it really hot and I still had goosebumps. Even when I am warm my hands and feet are cold. All day my stomach kept rumbling, but it didn't hurt, I honk it was gas. I had some diarrhea as well. When I was scrubbing my head in the shower my head felt a but sore, and then when I was brushing my hair, it hurt my scalp as I brushed it. I have no idea what this is.
Hot/cold, soreness and weakness, tired, nasea, cold hands, I just don't know! And I can't concentrate in school:(

New acne, nausea, headaches, being tired?

If it's been going on long enough, I'd consider Chronic Fatigue Syndrome... I wouldn't assume that, except for the acne.

Consider these other CFS symptoms...
-Light sensitivity
-Jaw pain
-Muscle pain
-Joint pain
-Memory loss
-Difficulty focusing
-Sore throat
-Tender lymph nodes
-Chronic cough
-Feelings of depression
-Unusual sleep patterns
-Dry mouth

Hm... I'll be feeling pretty stupid if you have NONE of those other symptoms and it's being going on for like, two days. But yeah. Most doctors don't even think of CFS, and it took me a year and a half to be diagnosed, so I thought I'd throw it out there just in case.

Anyway... Doctors suggest you ask about CFS if you have at least four of the symptoms, and you already have five, so if it's been going on for long enough, uh... You get the idea. Sorry for my ridiculously long and probably worthless answer. And for my irritating disclaimer that demonstrates incredibly low self-esteem. You get the idea again.

Why am I always tired, not hungry, and get lots of headaches?

ok, first off, how long have you been a veggie, i am one, and the first month was hell because my body was trying to adapt to the fact that i wasn't in-taking meat, you need to make sure you are getting enough potassium and iron, if you are getting really crampy you might have potassium deficiency, you could also be anemic, if you get really cold all the time, and you are prone to chew on crunchy things or eat ice alot it could be a sign of anemia, i am extremely anemic, i get shots for it and take iron supplements every day, i would recommend a teen vitamin along with potassium and iron supplements and a trip to the doctor and nutritionist so you can find out what nutrients you need and how to fit that in your diet, if you want to see if your anemic at home, run real gold along your face, if a green streak turns up on your cheek, i would get that checked out, good luck fellow veggie!!

I suffer from anemia, I'm always tired and I often get headaches. I have one month until my final exams and I feel unable to study. Do you have any advice?

As your final exams are fast approaching it is always better to consult a doctor and take good medicine which will improve your blood counts. Eat fresh food. Consuming dates and raisins will improve blood within a short period. Milk fruits and vegetables also help in bringing back your lost energy. Drink plentyof water. This will help you to a large extent. Have complete faith in yourself. Prioritise your things. Plan your studies and follow it strictly. Have a good 6 hours of sleep. If possible do simple exercises for about 10 minutes which will help to rejuvenate your body and mind. Everything put together wonders do happen. All the best for your exams. You will definitely come out with flying colours.
