Feels Like My Bones Pop When I Lift Things

Collarbone popping out?

thankyouuu.(:

Is it possible to break your back when lifting something too heavy?

It's unlikely that you fractured the bones in your spine. It's most likely that you strained or overstretched the muscles when lifting something too heavy and that's what's causing your pain. The popping was probably releasing gas that builds up in the joints of your spine; it's the same thing happens when you crack your knuckles.

What does breaking a bone feel like?

is it comparable to anything?
i always thought it would be something that you couldnt stand
but so many people break things all the time that it cant be too.. i dont know

Lower back pain after a popping feeling.........?

I think you'll do fine. Keep using your knees to bend and lift. Take it easy. When you do things at floor level do what I do and kneel on one knee to relive the strain on your back. When picking up your son out of the crib put one foot on box so you can keep one of your knees bent while lifting him out of the crib. Everything revolves on lifting things without using your back. When sitting have the chair or stool on its lowest setting. If you can somehow get your knees above your hips again you'll relieve any back strain. When lying down keep your knees flexed either on a pillow or lying on your side. When standing at the kitchen counter making dinner get a small box or step stool to place your foot on to keep your knee flexed.
Also never twist your back when carrying anything or moving something from one side to another. I killed my back trying to lift a case of copy paper that weighs over forty pounds and then twisted my back to place it on the cart. Wrong move. Use your feet and turn.

For the moment take some Aleve or Advil and use a heating pad when you have a chance to lie down If you don't get better in a few days then see an orthopaedic spine doctor. He can give you a prescription for Celebrex which works well for me.

Good luck! Hope this helps. This is what I do when my back hurts.

Shooting feeling in my elbows after lifting heavy weights?

I have been lifting weights a lot lately. I was bench pressing about 170-175 pounds today which is a lot for me. My elbows feel like they have sorta a shooting sensation in them. I would not really call it a pain, but just a feeling. Could the weight be too heavy for me, like over use? I used to crack my elbows occasionally a while ago. Like once a day at most. And I don't do it any more, extremely seldom if it happens. I only get the feeling if I am lifting weights. I don't feel it if I'm not lifting anything. Anybody have or had this? or know what it is?

Please Help! Why am I feeling numbness everywhere after my neck popped?

I felt my neck pop weird about 2 hours ago. it felt like something either popped out of place or a piece of my neck bone broke or a tendon popped. Right after that I felt a bit of a cold sensation in my neck and then like tingling cold sensation in little bits of everywhere on my face..

later I carried my baby and when I put him down part of that arm fell asleep...right after I felt the front of the upper part of my legs fall asleep.

I feel weaker and continue to feel a bit of a coldness in parts of my body as if they fall asleep.................
i don't understand what could it be????? is it a nerve that i may have popped out? a vein that's blocked (therefore not good circulation?)

please help I'm freaked out

I'd appreciate a knowledgeable and informative answer

thank you!!!

Wrist Popping and Numbness?

After a little extra use of my right hand at work (Taco Bell) I noticed my wrist popped if I bent my hand a certain way. Everytime it pops a surge of numbness travels up my palm into my fingertips and vanishes. My wrist is also a little stiff. A google search provided no answers. What could it possibly be?

Thank you!

When I lift my hands or rotate them, I hear some sound in my shoulder joints, is that a serious problem?

No my friend, it is quite normal. This phenomena is called joint popping. Well in almost every bone joint in our body, we have a fluid which acts has a cushion between two bones from preventing each other from rubbing. It basically decreases the friction between bone joint. This fluid is known as Synovial fluid. Now how is the sound originated?Well it is know to us that this fluid contains tiny air bubbles which are present between our bone joint along with fluid. So, when ever stretch or exercise our body mainly our joints. Due to excess pressure this bubbles tend to pop up. So, hence we hear the popping sound. Well some times the sound are do subtle that it could be only heard by us. Over a little bit time the bubbles forms up again like a continuous never ending cycle. So, if you continuously try to pop your joints & don’t give bubbles to regenerate. The popping sound stops. This is very much a normal thing. You are fine.Extra information:When you become aged, the reason for your frequent joint pains is the reduction of the Synovial fluid between your bones which increases the friction & so, your bones due friction slowly gets damaged or weak(wear & tear) at the joints over time, that is the main reason for your joint pains in your old age(ex- arthritis).

Why does the right side of my collar bone click when I do push ups?

I am not a doctor but speaking from experience there could be a few reasons. Anatomically speaking the shoulder joint is extremely complex and there are lots of tendons, ligaments and a few bones and joints that could be involved. It would take up far too much space to go over every possibility but I'll give you a few things to further explain thru Google. First, your collar bones meet at the shoulder at a point called the AC joint. It is a point at which your clavicle (collar bone) attaches to the upper front part of the scapula (acromion) called the acromion process. There is a cartilage buffer there which is articulated each time a push-up or flat bench press rep is completed. That cartilage can wear out over time and the collar bone can then slide by that acromion and cause a slight “clicking” sound and a feeling of that happening in the joint. “Clicking” can also be the result of the upper arm bone “ball” rotating in the shallow shoulder joint if the cushioning agents (labrum and bursa) have thinned out or been damaged slightly by a combination of repetitive shoulder and chest exercises. I'll end here by telling you that as long as there is no pain when the clicking occurs, I wouldn't worry too much about it. But sooner or later you WILL start to feel some pain as those of us who have been lifting for years (in my case, decades) can attest…having had 3 major shoulder surgeries: 2 A/C resections and a major Subscapularis rotator cuff tear.
