Female Teachers wearing jeans?
Schools usually allow teachers to wear jeans, unless it is some private school with uniforms. Most teachers at my school wear jeans on friday and for the rest of the week wear something more professional. There is this kind of non spoken agreement about friday being a casual day.
Is 25 too old to wear American Eagle,Hollister,aeropostale etc?
Guy, age is just a number! The thing is do they look good on you? Dressing for an age is just stupid. You are as young as you feel. I know some guys in their 50's that wear AE, Lucky, etc and look hotter then MUCH younger guys. If you take care of yourself and proud of yourself it will show. The same goes for women.
Clothes that teachers are and aren't allowed to wear?
I am a 5th Grade teacher in South Florida. Each district has its own policies regarding faculty dress. Some are very strict. One school required female teachers to wear stockings (hose) while wearing a skirt/dress. Others are more loose. Our particular school requires teachers not wear blue jeans except on field trip days and special events. We may not wear shirts with any words on them "American Eagle " , for example. We may not show cleavage. I have a small tattoo on my neck, and I am surprised that it has never been a topic of conversation with my administration, however, it seems all the new teachers graduating from college have tattoos.

European buy less but better quality clothing, but the American doesn't buy quality clothes. Hence the clothes that European buy is better tailored/manufactured, so yes there is a difference you can see in quality, in clothing because Americans use to wear the loose outfit and it was never better tailored. What age should people stop wearing Aeropostale, Hollister, American eagle?
I'd disagree that college students don't wear that stuff. I'm also in college and I wear A&F and occasionally Hollister. I think you should stop wearing it when you feel you out grow it. For an example I like wearing these things know but I know I'm gonna grow out of it like I grew out of many things

you should wear something more formal for interview. not the ripped jeans.
Would you be mad if your teacher said that your shorts are too short?
unless it's a clearly written school policy in the dress code section of your student handbook, the school will have no "legal' reason to ask you to stop wearing them (some have clear measurements regarding inseams and such, but others only say something like "shorts and skirts must be of an appropriate length", and everyone judges that a little differently so first i would check you student handbook. anyway, your story made me laugh b/c it reminded me of my eighth grade year when those layered miniskirts became popular. there was this one finicky teacher just like yours who complained about a couple girls's skirt length. (this girl was like model tall so everything looked shorter on her:) She sent the girl to the counselors office after the lesson. When she got to the counselors office, the counselor asked her why she was there, and the girl told her that Mrs. -Math Teacher- had sent her because her skirt was too short. The counselor just laughed and said, "well, I think you look cute!" and sent her back to class. The look on the teacher's face was priceless! just check your rule book, (and go back and buy another pair of those cute shorts:))
