Ffxiv A Realm Reborn Playing With The Same Account On Different Pc

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn account?

I bought the full game on the PlayStation Store and after a while I went back to play it after taking a little break and it is telling me "No valid service account is available to play Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn. Please exit the game and access the FFXIV Mog Station via the browser to confirm the status of your service account. If you have been playing on a free trial account this message is being displayed because your trial period has expired."

I thought I bought the full game not a trial period. Can anybody help?

Can I play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn With an Intel (R) HD Graphics 3000?

Run the benchmark and see for yourself. I'm guessing it's probably going to struggle a bit.

Final Fantasy 14 (XIV): A Realm Reborn Facts?

So, I pre-ordered the game and after participating in beta...cancelled my pre-order. lol Then, a week or two after launch I went ahead and purchased the game to give it one last try because I love Final Fantasy and grew up with it since the first one on Nintendo. However, as with many others, I found too many things wrong with the game that made it unbearable (mostly involving combat and an indepth crafting system with no Auction House available).

Anyways, I stopped playing obviously. Then, I started receiving the emails from Square Enix a few months ago about A Realm Reborn, so I checked it out and it seemed hopeful...or at least I was hopeful.

Last night I decided to follow-up on it to see if there were any videos on combat. So far the combat system seemed back in tune with FF XI where you can instantly use any of your skills and eventually build enough limit points to use a special move as opposed to the original release of FF14 where you had to auto-attack forever just to build points to use any of your skills....literally had me falling asleep in the game (first for an mmo for me).

Anyways, I'm hoping some people who have more knowledge on the subject can fill me in with the below questions. I've heard yes & no's on these questions, so what I'm looking for is "facts" not rumors/opinions/i'm-pretty-sure. If you have any links to articles/interviews on this it would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

1) I have the original FF14 game. Will I need to diss out another $50 for A Realm Reborn or can I just install my original game and download the updates/patches?

2) Will this new version of the game completely eradicate the original storyline? I'm curious if I'll have to continue with the new version/story or if I will still be able to play through the original storyline of the game to get the full experience before continuing with A Realm Reborn's storyline?

3) Release date? I heard Jan 2013 in forums.

4) Any PvP? I know in FF XI they had...Ballista is what I think it was called...but people rarely participated in it. PvP was never really a concern to the game-makers it seemed. Probably too hard to balance out 20 classes all of which can have sub-classes of the other classes. Not really a deal breaker for me. I love PvP....but I love storyline too and played FF XI for 5-6 years despite the lack of PvP.

How do you go underwater in "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn"?

You can’t go underwater for the first two sections of the game (A Realm Reborn, and Heavensward). When you progress a considerable amount in the main questline of Stormblood, FFXIV’s second expansion pack, you travel to a certain place (withheld because minor spoilers) and you are then granted the ability to dive underwater in certain areas which becomes a key way to access some areas and do certain quests. As diving wasn’t implemented until Stormblood, you can’t do it in any other areas that existed before the release of Stormblood in the same way you can’t fly in any of the areas that existed before the release of Heavensward.I’ll also note while it is cool to travel underwater and faster than swimming on the surface, flying is still the fastest mode of transport, so keep up with unlocking your aether currents as you did in Heavensward.Basically, you have to progress a long way in the story in order to unlock diving and it is only available in certain areas with large bodies of water. Also there’s no enemies underwater which is nice.Hope I helped! Comment if you have any other questions. Have fun in your journey through the lands of Eorzea and beyond! \(^_^)/

How do you get a chocobo in "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn"?

First, you must be level 20 or higher. You will gain access to the quest My Little Chocobo[1] through the main story quests once you've chosen to enlist with a Grand Company. After you've completed the quest, you will have access to the Chocobo mount. Then, at 30, you will be able to pick up the quest My Fiesty Little Chocobo[2] which allows your chocobo to become a fighting companion, who will assist you in battle (just make sure you stock up on Gysahl Greens!)Footnotes[1] FFXIV / FF14 ARR Community Wiki and Guide[2] My Feisty Little Chocobo

How do I cancel Square Enix accounts for FFXIV?

I created an account with my main e-mail that I somehow cannot enter the game with. Even if I re-create a new password. I can't even input the information on my PC to edit my profile. I just want to use that e-mail address :(
