I put a Question to Yahoo Q&A
わたしはやふーQ&Aにしつもんしました。

Japanese: Wa vs Ga. Help me with this question?

RokuAku is correct.
It sounds like the other answerer is a Japanese native needing to sound smart in English so she has an ulterior motive.

Once more, if you are specifically buying a mikan and an apple, (which is the case 90% of the time with this sentence), use "to." If you are studying on level with wa and ga, I don't think your teacher expects you to imagine a basketfull of shopping goods to take into consideration.

If you listing out a large number of things you bought that included mikan and apple, you would say "ya." However this is quite out of context for a beginning Japanese particles exercise and the only reason that girl ceejai mentioned it is she wants to sound smart.

You can see this point is a bit specific for someone who is just learning the particles,

But, questionner, wa and ga are way off the mark here. You need to take a look at list of particles.

Would Japan help the U.S against China?

Of course it will.Japan is just controlled by the US.Japan don’ t have the independent ability to develop weapon or plane. ( Just because the US don’t allow him. And in Japan the education of these fields is nearly blank.)Every year Japan spends much money on american weapons to maintain the relationship with the US.Territorial air space right of Tokyo (Yokato air base) is in fact in the hand of America . (An independent country can’ t control self airspace. How intersting! Especially in the most essential space—the capital! ) (So sorry for Japan!)There are other information about that the US CONTROLS JAPAN! E.g. Tokyo Prosetutor Tokyso Department. In my mind, Japan is not a really entirely independent country for that there are a bunch of things he can’ t control. And he has to look at American face. So it is so obvious that Japan certainly helps America, because they are in the same boat.

Please help me with my japanese homework?

What words in English do you think should be in those blanks?

I'm Japanese so I know the possible answers, but if I tell you those answers, it won't be helpful to you, right?

If you can't figure out what words should be in those blanks, I can tell you those words (in English) so that you can figure out those words in Japanese and their correct forms of those words.

I'll check back this question later.

----------
EDIT:

1) might be not having time?

This should be "being late". "jikan ni okureru" is "being late". So now you have to think of the correct form of "okureru". What form should it be? I'm sure you learned this in the class.

2) I have no idea about its answer

"Although I was told the directions, I took a wrong way. (I made a mistake)"

"michi o machigaeru" is the phrase. You need to change "machigaeru" here.

3) Fax machine is broken down? tomatte?

In this case, for "broken", "kowareru" or "kowareteiru" is probably better than "tomaru" or "tomatteiru".

If you want me to check your answers, write again. Gambattene!
