First Thing That Comes To Your Mind When You Hear Power

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word politics? Is it corruption?

Whenever I hear the word POLITICS, the following story comes to my mind.Once upon a time two cats found a piece of cheese and cut it into two pieces. But one piece was slightly bigger than the other. Both the cats wanted the bigger piece. Then they went to a monkey and asked to sort out the matter.The monkey said, "Don't worry. I'll make both the pieces equal”.Then it took a bite from the bigger piece. But this made the other piece larger. So it took a bite from the other piece. This continued till the pieces became very small.Seeing this, the cats pleaded, "Sir! We are satisfied. Let us have the pieces now."The shrewd monkey replied, "This is my fee for sorting out the problem." What comes in your mind when you hear the word power?

What comes in mind?Intoxication feeling making people mad to run after and ruin their life.There is nothing known matter or trait which is felt or desired externally and not existing within our body and mind system.The greed of power can be achieved and spoil the sleep whereas the journey could not be the end. Thus external power may be able to give what all one can think and desire leaving the ability of available resource beyond it.Those who command power (not demand) but never use as their weapon live in joy as unending peace.If saints have experienced who have been coming at different times and different places for establishing the value of humanity do teach us about it.They call it bliss.Such people do have super natural power within but that does not attract because that could kill the bliss.On earthly plane similarly the one who is enjoying the pleasure in servicing the humanity enjoy bliss, they are powerful too with variance that can sustain life long.On this ground “what comes me in my mind” is liking wasting energy in not going a step higher where lies the goal much bigger but needs the expansion of mind.

What is the first thing that pops into your mind when you think of "power"?

The first thing that pops into my mind when I think of “power” is the abstract power a human being can obtain. The type of power that only exists in the mind, and yet is far more powerful than any display of physical power.People like Joseph Stalin, Julius Cesar, and Chingus Khan were only men. Their physical power was limited to their bodies. Yet their abstract power — which existed only in people's minds — was able to control the lives of millions, and extend over land-masses larger than anyone could ever conceive of. They harnessed the type of power that knew no physical constraints, a scalable power that you could never touch, but nevertheless shaped history into what we know it as today.This blows my mind every time I think about it. For a man, while physical power means almost nothing, the abstract power that only exists in people's minds is everything. It transforms reality, and takes a hold of human beings in such a way that physical force never could. And yet, it is nothing more than a simultaneous chain of belief. It could never influence an animal, because animals don't live in their minds as humans do, they live solely in the non-abstract reality of the physical.Non-physical, abstract, invisible power. The collective power of the imagination. It has shaped each and every one of our lives, yet exists only in our minds. That's what first comes to mind when I think of “power”, and it never fails to astonish.
