How can i stop my fishing line from going curly?

there are a few things.
1. it is probably badly twisted. the only way to avoid this is to be sure it isn't twisting when filling your reel. fill it with the filler spool flat on the floor, label up. reel in a few yards then give it some slack of the line coils and twists around itself, turn the spool over and continue filling the reel. it needs to wind onto the reel in the same direction that it comes off the filler spool.
you can drag it behind a boat to let twists out. dust drag the line with nothing attached for a hundred feet or so and you will fix the problem.
2. keep the reel full. as the spool diameter decreases, the line will curl smaller and smaller. this will also affect your casting. a smaller diameter will not cast as well as a larger diameter spool. plus you have the factor of friction from the cine in constant contact with the lip of the spool.
3. use lighter line. a heavier line will not cast as well as a lighter one. adding weight is not the answer. it is harder and will take longer to uncoil. the first two details l gave you will compound the casting problem.
4. use a good quality mono. softer and limper ones like stren and trilene XL will not take such a memory while the more abrasion resistant ones like trilene XT will. you will have to weigh the pros and cons of each type of line to see which is better for your particular situation.
these are the biggest problems in casting a spinning reel and l have given you the best fixes. l have quite a several years of experience in using all types of tackle and do know of which l speak.
