Fix Settings On Coversations Not Being Store.

Why does Snapchat automatically delete the history of conversations?

Snapchat employs what is called ephemeral messaging:ephemeralLasting a short period of timeUsually, in messaging, messages will be stored until you manually deleted, allowing you to scroll back through them, just in case you've forgotten what you were talking about, or want to recall an earlier moment in time, for example a photo that was shared. The problem with this, however, is that it does not truly reflect conversation in real life: conversation topics are normally forgotten within a couple of hours, or even as soon as you move onto the next one. That's where Snapchat comes in. Snapchat removes stories from viewing 24 hours after you have uploaded that particular pic or video, because no one's likely to dwell on that moment in real life.Ephemeral messaging also applies to their Chat, which deletes as soon as both the sender and recipient have seen it once, or after 24 hours on a group chat.Snaps are deleted once they have been viewed by the recipient, and possibly replayed once. However, I would say that this part of Snapchat is now becoming increasingly less important, as now screenshots can be taken of snaps and stories, and chat messages can be saved by long-presssing them. Even screen recordings can be taken of videos. And what's to say that Snapchat don't keep them on their servers anyway. You might not be able to see them, but I'm sure they're still there.Come on, you know they do that.

Can I recover WhatsApp conversations after I formatted my phone (Android)?

Condition 1: Recover WhatsApp Chat History from recent backupsIf you have any backups of WhatsApp chat history, you will be able to  recover chat history from your backups. If you deleted any Chat history  or messages without backup, you can still recover lost messages,  attachments from the WhatsApp automatic backups. It is because WhatsApp  automatically makes backups every day and  stores them on  phone’s internal memory (only given that there is  enough free space) or external microSD card of your Android phone. What  you will need in order to recover WhatsApp messages is to uninstall the  WhatsApp, then reinstall the chat app again. During the installation  process, you will be prompted to restore your message history. Simply  tap Restore and everything less than seven days old is restored.Condition 2: Recover WhatsApp Chat History from older (less recent) backupsYou can follow below instructions to restore WhatsApp messages or chats from a backup:Uninstall WhatsApp.Open the WhatsApp database or backup folder. Decide which backup file you want to restore.Rename that file from “msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt7” to “msgstore.db.crypt7”.Install WhatsApp.When asked to restore, tap Restore. You can find the WhatsApp backup files from  /sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases folder, you will see that they are saved with  names like “msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt7”. Note that WhatsApp backup  folder may be located in either your phone’s internal memory or  external memory.Condition 3: How to recover recent WhatsApp chat messages without losing newest chat history? We know that new messages sent/received after a backup, and deleted  before the next backup, cannot be restored. If you want to keep a copy  of the newest WhatsApp messages, you can create a manual backup fromWhatsApp > Menu Button > Settings > Chat Settings > Backup conversations. This manual backup file will normally be saved as  “msgstore.db.crypt7” in your /sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases folder. Rename  this chat backup file to something like “msgstore.db.crypt7.newest” or  “msgstore.db.crypt7.current”.There’s no simple way to merge your new message with your old, recovered messages though.Condition 4: Recover Deleted WhatsApp Chat Messages without any backupsIf you just delete some very important chat messages without a backup, I recommend iMyfone data recovery software. You can google it. Very easy-to-use and can find all lost data back all.

How do I let WhatsApp store data directly to a micro SD card?

Yes, You can directly save all your WhatsApp Media to device External Storage i.e. SD Card. WhatsApp bydefault does not allow you to do the same, but there is always a workaround to do the same.If you have Rooted Device, it becomes very easy to do the same. But For Non-Rooted Device, little bit tricky.Best way to Store All Media in External Storage, is by moving WhatsApp App to SD CARD. Wondering How? Let’s see two methods of doing it, Android: Make SD Card Default Storage for WhatsApp Media [No Root]You can do this in two ways:Method 1: Doing changes in Device Settings:Go to Your Phone, Device ‘Settings’ –> Search for ‘Developer options’ –> enable ‘Force allow apps on external’.go to device ‘Settings’ –> ‘Apps’. Select ‘WhatsApp’ → here you will get the option to ‘Change’ storage location → tap on ‘Change’ button and select ‘SD Card’ as default storage. Now all media will automatically get saved into your SD Card or External Storage.Method 2: Using Free App To Move Apps Like: ‘AppMgr III’First Install ‘AppMgr III’ on your Android Device.Open this app, it will show you all apps under 3 category: ‘Movable’, ‘On SD Card’ & ‘Phone Only’.Here, Apps showing in Movable Category, select WhatsApp –> select ‘Move App’ option –> on the pop-up window, tap on ‘Proceed to Move’ button. Now all the WhatsApp Media will get saved in SD Card or External Storage.. Enjoy :-)

Why am I getting "Error Invalid Number" when sending text message with iphone?

I called AT&T, they told me it was a problem with the iphone and to call Apple. I called Apple and they were less than helpful. The guy told me to hit the restore button on my iphone and that "might" fix the problem. If it didn't fix it then it was AT&T's problem and to call them back. Restoring the phone didn't fix the problem so I was back to calling AT&T. They told me that I needed to have the area code in front of the number because AT&T isn't smart enough to know if I'm dialing long distance even if I'm calling my neighbor next door. And he told me to try sending a text to myself and that should fix the problem....IT DID!!! So I'm just wondering why the first AT&T guy just didn't tell me to send a text to myself...why the whole run-around!!!

My dad treats me unfairly compared to my sister and always brings me down... how do I fix this?

I go to an alternative school and my dad calls it the reject school and it makes me feel like I am not worth nothing and it hurts really bad.. I used to be an A student and then things at home went down hill and my grades slipped for a year and a half and I was a d- average and after I went to the alternative school I started getting A's I am an A student now and my mom congradulated me and my dad didnt say anything supportive at all when he saw my report card... He never says anything supportive about my school and I feel like I'm not even his daughter, how do I cope with this and or change it?

Why do all automatic call recorder apps record only my voice (and not the opponent's) in my new Samsung Galaxy S8+?

I was using ACR (Automatic Call Recorder) and it was working fine. Then, one day it stopped working; I could only record my side of the conversation.I tried uninstalling/reinstalling it. I double checked the app permissions. I tried clearing my local data & cache. Nothing seemed to work.Eventually, I went into the program settings and tried re-connecting to my google drive account (where the program is set to save my conversations). I also checked the recording settings and changed the configuration to mp4 and increased the loudness setting. I don’t know what exact change did it but the app started working properly again.
