Flight Training Loans

How can i pay for flight training?

This is a university that offers a Bachelors degree in aviation and they also waive 100% of the out of state portion of tuition for all out of state students. When you graduate you are licensed to fly AND you have a bachelors degree. Because it is a state school and the portion of the country it is in... it is VERY cheap and you can get federal financial aid to cover most (if not all) or your costs.

Pay for flight training.?

I want ways to pay for flight training. I need to make money quick, I already have a list of scholarships and I don't know if I know anyone that can cosign my loans and because of my lack of experience/ability to travel I can't get a job right now.

How about a clever/legal way to pay for it? Something that I haven't thought of already. (i'll work hard).

Is there any loan available for pilot training?

Of course there are! If you do a Google search for “flight training scholarships,” you’ll find a lot of links. The scholarships are very competitive, but they are available. Some are for women or other minorities only, and others require membership in an organization, but joining those organizations is well worth it if you can get some free flight training! For example, the Utah Military Academy, a high school program in Utah, is right now providing 40 hours of flight training to high school students who take the Private Pilot Ground School course and pass the FAA written exam. What a deal! The Air Force is providing millions of dollars for scholarships this year through the Civil Air Patrol and high school Junior ROTC, for instance. Of course, college ROTC is also a great source of free flight training, if you qualify. Never before have there been so many flight scholarships offered - I wish I’d had these many opportunities when I was young! Here is a short list that I’ve accumulated. There are also bank loans available from almost anywhere. Joining the military as a commissioned officer (Air Force) is the very BEST way of free flight training.https://daedalians.org/programs/... You’re not going to get free money without some sincere effort, so put your heart into each application! Evaluation boards can easily tell if you’re really passionate about flying, or if you’re just out looking for a free ride with minimal effort.Colonel Whicker

Financial Aid for a flight school. Where to look?

I am going to be starting my flying lessons soon and was wondering where I can get financial aid.

What company provides a student loan for a someone who is going to a small FBO. I will be pursuing this for a career so I don't know if that will make a difference.

I live in Illinois a little south of Chicago if that matters.

Flight school financial aid or loan repayment?

Does anyone know if any of the regional or major commercial airlines have loan repayment programs for pilots? I have a strong interest in flying and I'm looking for help in financing flight school, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to go to ATP's flight school. Would FAFSA help with flight school? I'd love to hear from some pilots who have dealt with this before, however like I said ANY advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Will I get a full course loan from banks for the IndiGo Cadet training program?

There are quite a few banks who have a special scheme for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot program ( under CAE branch )These banks provide a loan upto ₹75,00,000 ( 75 Lacs ) provided you have a collateral for it.Taking even the domestic program into picture, it's fees are somewhere around 78–80 lacks ( all inclusive ) hence we can say that banks do not provide complete loan for the program but only up till 75 Lacs. You'll have to arrange funds ranging from 3–4 L to 20 L ( depending on where you want to do your training) on your own.Below I have attached Banking partners and a PDF from Axis bank providing funding details.Banks partnered with CAE OxfordThe PDF provided by Axis bankThat's it.Footnotes :Image source : FundingWebsite : IndiGo Cadet Pilot Programme - International Pathway

Is there financial aid, grants, or student loans for Pilot Training?

There are plenty of scholarships around for students who want to attend colleges/universities for flight training. Also if that is the route that you are going you can apply for financial aid like any other college kid does. If you are looking to just attend a regular flight school you can look into Pilot Finance. http://www.pilotfinance.com/ they offer financial aid to those looking to take flying lessons.

Good luck!

Do banks in India provide loans for pilot school training (CPL)? Is it worth investing that much money on CPL?

I’m not sure about the banking system in India but I am positive that they can provide you with a loan to fund your training. As someone who has funded his training through a loan, I can tell you that its not worth it. If I had to do it again I would have worked a few years more, have some savings and pay for the course myself. In that way you are more in control of what is going to happen.Just my opinion
