Florist Possible Allergic Reaction

Possible to have an allergic reaction to Atomic Fireball candy?

It doesn't seem like a stomach upset would have much to do with an allergic reaction associated with hives(rash). It is the season for sickness to travel around so it could be entirely coincidental. Kids do go through phases of being allergic to one thing or another and then grow out of it. My son used to break out in hives when we used Lavender scented baby soap on him..we waited a couple of years and tried it again and now he's fine with it. Similarily, my other son got a rash and "hot" spots on his face after eating cinnamon applesauce. We did some trial and error tests and determined it was definitely the cinnamon. Since his reaction was fairly mild, we tried placing the cinnamon under a bandaid and sticking that to his arm every six months (for about 15mins) to make sure he was still allergic (all of this was approved by our pediatrican, mind you) and after about a year and a half, he no longer has a reaction to it.

Your son's body is growing and changing and still determining for itself what is and isn't safe. Sometimes allergies just appear and never go away-even for adults. If you feel comfortable with it, I would place a fireball against his skin for a few minutes every so often and just see if he continues to be allergic.

And by the way, I don't know why the other answerer said they can have a more severe reaction every time they're exposed. That simply isn't true. Even now, dr.s are recanting their statement that giving a young child peanut butter can lead to reactions. They now suggest you DO give them small quantities of PB so their bodies can learn to deal with it without a reaction.

Is it possible to be allergic to glitter?

Yeah. The plastic is covered with chemicals in order to give then their color. One could be allergic to said chemicals/paint.

What are some Possible Allergic reactions in tattooing?

I had an interesting experience last weekend following new tattoo workI’m not sure if it was a histamine reaction to a floral bouquet I got for my birthday or from the tattoo work on Friday but it was fucking dramatic and has never happened to me before !I had a flare up of HVS1, which I’ve had my whole life. I got cold sores as a child when I’d get sunburnt or wind burnt.Getting tattooed sort of feels like a sunburn and after care is similar. The skin is abraded and my tattoo was fairly large.By Monday I felt the tingling feeling under my lip. I hadn’t had a flare up for a couple of decades though I used to get them all the time when I worked outdoors. My doctor prescribed Acylovir, the gold standard for HVS1 treatment which somewhat mitigated the symptoms but it’s still painful and still big and nasty looking.I’ve had plenty of tattoo work previously with out having this occur, and it may have been the flowers (I have seasonal allergies) or may have been the tattoo work.Or the combination of both. No way to tell.In any case, from now on I’ll taking acylovir for a week before I get any more tattoo work and during my upcoming vacation, where I’m getting a ‘vacation’ tattoo. This would only happen if you have Herpes Simplex Virus already though I read about it online and apparently the majority of people in the world have the virus. It lies dormant in your nerve cells until it’s triggered. Sunburn is a common trigger. If you have a history of HVS1, consider getting a prescription for Acylovir before you get a tattoo..just in case.

Real or Fake Flowers for Wedding?

You know, it all depends on your budget. Real Flowers are classier I do agree. However you can put over 1000 easily in real flowers. For some brides that's a bit much.

So I would say if you can afford it. Then go real.

However, if you are on a really strict budget, then go fake. There are some really good fake silk flowers out there now, that look real, come in all colors, and will save you a whole lot of money.

Flowers for allergy sufferers?

Ah, but that's the thing - allergy sufferers aren't all allergic to all flowers. Most of us aren't allergic to flowers at all. And, more confusing still - allergies can change. When I was a kid, I was allergic to trees, dust, and grass. Now I'm not. I consider my allergies - "one allergy per season" allergies - crabgrass, dust mites, and goose feathers. For a time there, I thought I was allergic to shellfish (not tolerable where I live or in my family lol), but then I discovered it was just clams. I wasted 5 years of my life not eating shrimp, that I could have eaten shrimp.

It would be mean to do that to you. Go to an ears-nose-and-throat doctor. Get your allergies tested, and then you'll discover, more than likely, you can grow just about any plant you want (minus crabgrass. Jst don't grow that, even if you want. lol)

How should I handle a delivery of flowers sent by my narcissistic ex? I had decided (with lots of work and effort on my part) to go no contact. On the other hand, I would always thank someone for a gift. What do you advise?

GET RID OF THE FLOWERS!!! (Or better yet, don’t accept them in the first place). No contact means NO CONTACT, even from the flower delivery guy (or girl). It’s definitely a trap, as the others have advised. Here’s my experience…Unfortunately, as a co-parent, “no contact” has included occasional run-ins during drop-off/pick-up because there is no restraining order. It was especially difficult at first, starting with verbal abuse. I was berated and blamed during drop-offs for “ruining the children’s lives” as they stood by watching and listening. I put an end to that behavior by simply not engaging, not making eye contact, and leaving as quickly as possible. (He shouted as I drove away.) But soon thereafter, instead of getting berated, I’d be offered some gift. Like… wow, this is something I really need right now. But, yes, IT’S A TRAP!!! I’d drive away with this new phone in my hand (for example), like, WHAT DID I JUST DO??? Yes, I needed the phone, but NOT FROM HIM!!! I’d come to my senses and get rid of it, but multiple times I fell for this trap before realizing it’s all part of the plan. The game will change many times.GET RID OF THE FLOWERS!!! AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!DON’T LET YOUR NEEDS BE FILLED FROM YOUR NARCISSIST EX!!!That’s their game… knowing your emotional (or physical, or financial) needs, in order to hold it over you.Don’t fall for it.One day, someone genuine will bring you flowers, and it won’t end in tears. Until then, I suggest buying yourself some flowers. Bring some light into your own space. Get yourself the very best flowers that you love the most. Self-love is what you need right now.Keep up with no contact!! It’s the ONLY way.xoxo

Can you suffer from allergies in the cold winter months?

Yes! Most seasonal allergies are related to geographical location, like winter is obviously cold energy, mold, and dampness. These affect the upper respiratory system or the skin, that is because the immune system will attack the weakest organ system and sink happens to be the largest organ.Common Symptoms include:Allergic rhinitisSinusitisAn allergic coughContinuous sneezingWatery eyesA runny nose or evenAllergic rashes withSevere itching andHives.People with a weakened immune system should be more cautious during the winter months from these attacks and must be aware of their food intolerances that can easily trigger a reaction. Lacoste and gluten intolerances coupled with seasonal allergies can cause severe havoc in some people. One way to stay clear is ‘know your allergies, sensitivities and intolerances’ A simple IgG or IgE test would reveal these sensitivities or you can approach a NAET practitioner in your area to know your allergies. They use Muscle Response Test (MRT) using Applied Kinesiology or the same can be done through Electro-Acupuncture (EAP), no this does not involve any needles or Chinese doctors, these are tested using Bioresonance machines like BICOM, MORA or Deta-Elis. There are numerous ways other than a blood test that is non-invasive and pain-free.Identifying seasonal Allergies is simple - when you have the same symptom at year after year, these are normally seasonal allergies. They can also be triggered by emotion and stress, which is the most neglected side of allergies.

Will you die if you eat a flower?

There are many edible plants but there are also many poisonous plants, varying in degree of poisonous from mild stomach ache to death within hours.
If you could possibly find out what she ate it would be very helpful to me and to her.
If it was poisonous it would not necessarily make her sick or give here stomach ache. Some plants can cause hallucinations, blindness, liver failure, kidney failure, hemorrhage, paralysis and convulsions.
These symptoms can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days to develop so your friend really, REALLY needs to find out what she ate. She also needs to think before she does anything so silly again.
