drop by in people's blogs and ask them questions! whenever people follow me i go to their ask and introduce myself and say hi! also ive recently gotten close to a girl who lives in the same state! thats how we got to know each other. you can compliment people when they post pics of themselves too lol

Can private blogs on tumblr be followed?
Remember, there are private posts and password protected blogs, once your friend enter the password for your blog they should be able to follow you on the main xxxx.tumblr.com url. If they go to the private blog page (different from home page) they wont see the follow button.
Is it bad to follow a stranger on Tumblr?
On Tumblr, I basically just follow my friends, and the big public ones that aren't run by just one person. However, I find that some people with smaller accounts are really entertaining and stuff. Regarding follow i think we need to have an account but, still there are two kinds of follow I would say, one make them remember your blog and one they need to create a profile on tumblr and they have to follow you.Rather that If you want to get notification then you can use Push notification if they allow.I’m not sure,
Why can't people follow me on Tumblr?
My Tumblr name is f-is4fashion if looking it up will help diagnose the problem. I' following my original Tumblr blog on my new Tumblr, but I'm trying to follow the second Tumblr blog on my original one and every time I do it Tumblr tells me that it can't "find that Tumblerblog". I tried typing in the web address to the new Tumblr blog while one my old one, and it tells me that I don't have access to this page. Did I not set something correctly on the new Tumblr page? I'm worried other people can't follow me because of a setting I have or something. On my original Tumblr blog, my new one doesn't show up on my list of followers, either.
Why won't it let me follow people on tumblr?
I know there is a limit on how much people you follow (5,000) but I'm not following that much.. I had over 1,300 followers, but I decided to unfollow Everyone, then follow back right away, It's not letting me.. So atm I'm following 421.. I don't wanna keep losing my followers so can someone help as soon as possible? My tumblr is really messed up :(
