For The Last 5 Months I Have Been Taking Care Of A 13 Year Old Girl

What shall I ask for for Christmas (13 year old girl)?

My family keep on asking what I want for Christmas but there s not much I want or need but I feel like there might be something I want out there but I just want some inspiration. I already have a perfectly good phone and laptop. Any ideas? Preferably below 30 pound for each item. Thank you so much.

Tips on babysitting a 5 month old girl?

as a father to a ten month old my advise is this; carry her around alot, read to her if she's in the right mood, make sure she's hydrated, if she's crying go through this list : Is her diaper soiled? Is she too hot/cold?
Is she hungry? Is she thirsty? Is she sleepy? Go in that order too.

Changing a diaper is pretty straight forward too. I always think to myself; would I be comfortable if I was the baby? Pay attention to details like the material around the legs of the diaper, is it all folded and bunched up inside? If poopy wipe really good, don't be afraid to get in there either, if red put some diaper rash cream on just for good measure...it can't hurt. Babies like to roll around and stuff while your changing them, to help you with that hold both of her feet firmly with one hand while wiping with the other. Also, before you start open up the new diaper and place it under her before you take the soiled one off...makes it easier. Make sure to wash your hands really well after too.

I can't think of anything else that's not too obvious. OH! babies can pick up on your own signals very easily so, for example, if she's crying and won't stop and you get frustrated and show it in ANY way she'll recognize the negativity and be more upset by it...stay happy and cheerful!! :) Hope this helps and good luck!

I've been in a relationship for the last 5 months. A year ago, I had a huge crush on some other guy of my class. Now that guy is about to begin a relationship. I'm jealous of that girl. What should I do?

well….first things first, do you really have genuine feelings for your boyfriend?Old memories (like ex relationships, crush etc) are like wounds that heal with time, leave scars and are left unnoticed but the day the wound is touched or scorched you feel the pain all over again even reminiscent how you got that wound. So now you need to understand if you really love ur guy, because u r committed with someone and ur jealousy can set ur present relationship afire! as far as that other girl is concerned, there’s not much u can do about it.So, think over it if u aren’t serious with ur bf u can take a pause but that will land u in no man’s land. Your past crush should not mess with your future might be spouse ;)

I’m a 14 year old girl and I haven’t gotten my period in 7 months now. I first got my period when I was 13. At the time, it was regular for 4 months. Then, I would get it about every 3 months. I’m underweight and do a lot of exercise. Is this normal?

I had similar problems when I was your age. I was also skinny, though I did not work out a lot. It can be normal for athletes. However, that does not make it normal for you. It needs to be asked, do you eat enough to sustain your lifestyle? It is especially important that you eat more calories than you burn. Your hormone cycle will never be normal until you do, and it puts you at high risk for other physical ailments. If you do not, then you need to sincerely consider speaking to a nutritionist and possibly a mental health counselor. If you know for a fact that you eat and retain more than enough calories to sustain your lifestyle, it is a good idea to see an OB-GYN. Only an OB-GYN will be able to say what is right for your body, and may choose to run some tests to determine whether this is normal for you or if there is a problem.I will say that in my case, the irregularity was not normal. I ate enough, that wasn’t the issue. I had an underlying hormone problem that caused my irregular cycle, but it did go undiagnosed because I was skinny. I also had other symptoms, such as intense pain, fatigue, and others. Skinny people do wind up underdiagnosed on some disorders because what is pathological for regularly-sized people is overlooked as normal for skinny people. So, in summary, take nothing for granted. See a healthcare professional. And, if you don’t already, eat well and healthily. There’s nothing wrong with being skinny. But it is worth mentioning that incorrect eating habits can be hugely detrimental to your body, long-term.

My 12 year old daughter is pregnant?

how could you have an abortion when you seemed so excited about being pregnant in your previous questions also your 12 year was very excited I don't understand how you could have went through with it even though your 12 year old is pregnant also does your 12 year old know that she is risking her life in giving birth she is just a baby there is no need in getting her one of those dolls to play with it still wouldn't be the same as a real one I think that maybe you should put the baby up for adoption then beat your 12 year old's butt.

I am 13 years old. It has been 38 days since my last period. What should I do?

Cycles are very irregular in the beginning ((soon after menarche) and also at the end of menstrual life ( nearing menopause) of a person, may be few months to years.During menarche, the body is in the process of learning and getting adjusted to these monthly hormonal programming. Hence, irregular cycles are of very common occurrence. Such cycles are anovulatory, painless and may bleed for more number of days.Blood examination to rule out thyroid disorder is important thing because thyroid disorder is more common in women, can give irregular cycles and if thyroid abnormality is detected and treated, cycles will automatically become regular. If clinically and thyroid are normal, don't worry, as it is a very common occurrence.Do regular exercise, yoga, cycling or swimming. These will reduce body weight and help in getting better cycles if not very regular. Do not worry much about academics. If you do not get menstruation by 2 to 2.5 months, see a gynecolologist for a suggestion.- Dr.Rekha Rajendrakumar,Infertility specialist and Gynecolologist.

I'm a 13-year-old girl, my height is 5'3", and my weight changes a lot between 102-108. I either gain or lose weight, but I just want to stay at 103 pounds. What should I do?

Body weight will always vary, a 6 lbs variation ≈ 3 kg isn't much and within tolerances. So why are you so obsessed with your weight? As you grow older, you will grow both in height and in weight, it is unhealthy to be an adult desperately clinging to one's body weight at 13 yo.Obsessing about your weight in teens might lead to anorexia nervosa, please don't.From Parent’s BMI Calculator: Calculate Your Child’s BMI your BMI is 18.2, at the 38 Percentile line, a bit lowish, but even at 108 lbs still very much OK with a BMI of 19.1, at the 51 percentile line meaning that 51 per hundred girls of your age has a BMI under yours, and 49 per hundred girls have a BMI above yours, quite average.

Is my 15 month old a baby? Or a toddler?

At what age do you stop referring to your child as 'baby' and begin referring to them as 'toddler'?

Lol ... it's been 8 years since I had my last baby and I don't remember?

I have a 15 month old so I flick between 'newborn & baby' questions and 'toddler & preschool' questions and it occured to me that I am not really quite sure at what age one ends and the other begins?

I have begun to refer to my little girl as a toddler because she is up on her feet and 'toddling' around but I note that some questions in newborn and baby are about children my daughter's age.

So how do you refer to your 15 month old children?
