For Those That Have A Phablet Size Phone Do You Like It Or Is It Too Big

Smartphone or phablet?

I like the tablets more. iPads can work as phones too depending how you order it and all that..

Which one is better to buy: a tablet, phablet or smartphone?

Thanks for the A2ATLDR: Smartphone or Phablet if you have a bag/jacket pocket that carries it easilyIt depends on you do daily and the type of person you are.Are you a producer or a consumer of media? Are you physically active or more sedentary? As someone who is a relatively active (as going out for a couple of hours to do stuff and then come home) producer (I take photos, videos and write articles, mostly at home) I personally dislike traditional tablets (it might be different if I was away from home for days at a time or I have to produce stuff while on the go). They are too big to carry without a bag, and since they don't have a full-size mechanical keyboard, I don't like them for writing articles. They are too underpowered for extensive photo or video editing and their screens are a little small for photo editing (I prefer editing on my 27″ desktop monitor). Their are tablet keyboard attachments, but none of them are mechanical… also at that point I would just get a 2 in 1 laptop as I don't like tablets in their tablet only mode because…I'm not a big media consumer, but while tablets are nominally good for visual media consumption (i.e. watching TV or movies) but I don't like having to hold them up the whole time by hand (there are stand up covers, but those only really work on flat, level surface - not if you are sitting on the couch or arm chair). Furthermore if am going to watch something, I'd prefer the larger screen of a laptop, desktop or even HDTV.So that's my opinion on tabletsPhone vs phablet just really depends on in what is no comfortable/convenient for me you to carry. Most people I know who have a phablet end up leaving in their purse, overcoat, or on their desk and end up “forgetting” to have it on hand a lot of the time, which for me defeats the purpose.

Which one is better Tablet or Smartphone?

Well, that REALLY depends on what your needs are.

Tablets and smartphones can usually do the same things (depending on the model). The main difference is, the screen size (smartphones have smaller screens) and the phone abilities (tablets can't make phone calls).

Do you love big screens and don't need another phone? Get a tablet. Do you need a new phone, but don't need a big screen? Get a smartphone.

Only YOU can ultimately decide!

Android Phones: How big can a phablet get before they are called a tablet?

First of Phablet is no technical term so there are no hard and strict rules. However it is wrong if someone says that a Phablet is a tablet with cellular functionality (calls ,SMS ,etc.). A Phablet is a Mobile phone with a bigger screen and added functionality although over the time its boundaries and definition have changed. Basically anything above 5" can be (or may be because many companies now have mobile flagships with5.1" or5.2" screen) called a Phablet and it can go up to 6.9" . however this is no strict rule as I said but the reason I say 6.9" is because devices with 7 inches are considered small tablets. There are examples of Phablets between 6-7 inches like the Sony Z ultra. For those saying that tablets lack cellular functionality you might want to Google and see some of the tablets yourself , almost all tablets have a cellular version.

How much bigger can the smartphones get, after the latest release of the Nexus 6 measuring at a massive 6 inch screen size? How much more can be considered to be an ergonomic fit in human hand before being considering it a tablet?

The smartphone race has gone to another level altogether. The innovation has come to stand still so manufacturers are pushing the numbers ahead, like increasing the RAM, increasing the clock speeds of processors rather than fragmenting the memory and making it much more efficient. Simultaneously they are increasing the screen size as well to show what they have been doing.  720p is what a human eye can discern and enjoy, 1080p was fun considering you can still play around with 5" phone. However in order to show more and more on the papers and racing for 'whos's first' they lost the trail of true innovation. They forgot that you can do so much with a Full HD display, you can make it even more beautiful. That's why Micromax's Full HD phones looks ugly and Samsung's Super AMOLED looks gorgeous. iPhone's HD display does better job with every iteration even though the resolution is almost same. That's why Apple has managed to stick to uniform size.I have used Note 3 for a quite long time and as much as the phone has great hardware the screen size has been a stretch for me. The display has gone to Quad HD (2K) which is nonsensical considering the fact that any user will play heavy games at the most on it. 2K display makes so much sense in big monitors with beefy processors and in Televisions. Now if they are putting that heavy unit in a phone, they will need a reasonable size to showcase it. They can't stick to 5" phones and besides people have shown great interest in phablet market so manufacturers are pushing it more and more with mindless innovation. I believe Galaxy Alpha, Nexus 5, iPhone 6, Sony Z3 compact, Z3 - these are the phones that has perfect screen and has got awesome hardware. If you're someone who is tired of big screens these are the best options in the market that you can probably switch it to.

Do people like large screen size smartphones?

I prefer something with about a 5" screen, as I have large hands but anything much larger is hard to stick in my pocket. Anecdotally, most of the people I know using 'Phablets' with screens over 6 inches are women who carry them in a purse. The 5" point seems to be where most phones are settling, with small incremental increases as the amount of bezel around the edges is reduced (or eliminated, as with the Samsung Edge). I think issues of hand size and the 'pocket problem' will keep it at around that level in the future, although there might be an opening for entries with up to date internals but smaller screens, for people with smaller hands or some other reason to prefer a smaller screen, that is not being served.

What are the pros and cons of having a phablet?

The ProsGreat for avid readers — The larger screen size is paradise for those of you who read books or articles frequently on your smartphone.More comfortable typing — Typing longer emails or notes on a 4-inch screen isn't a pleasant experience. On the iPhone, the keyboard takes up half of the screen if you're typing in landscape orientation. Drafting an email on a device as big as the iPhone 6 Plus, however, is much easier, especially with Apple's new expanded keyboard for the screen size, which includes shortcuts for frequently used features like copy and paste.More room for big text — Smartphone squinters, this is your salvation. A lot of people I know make their smartphone's text bigger to give their weary eyes a break. On a smaller 4-inch screen, you'll only get two lines of limited text at a time in iMessage if the font is made larger. A bigger screen size will allow you to see more text at once, without having to compromise font size.Amazing screen resolution — Typically, phablets have higher resolution than smaller smartphones. The iPhone 6 Plus has a new display called "Retina HD" (1,920 x 1,080), which offers more pixels per inch and higher contrast. The Galaxy Note 4 also has an incredible 1,440 x 2,560 super AMOLED display. A high-definition screen is well-suited for quality video viewing. The ConsIt won't fit in your back pocket — If you're the type to stick your phone in the back of your jeans, don't get a phablet. It'll be either too tall or too wide to fit properly, making the device more susceptible to theft.Awful for people who ride public transit — You never know when you won't score a seat and you'll need to hang on for dear life in one hand and use your phone in the other. Most phablets require two hands, so don't make your life even harder, bus surfer, by getting a bigger phone. Not ideal for making actual phone calls — With a wider, taller screen, you're more likely to get face grime all over your giant phone. It's awkward to put up to your ear without pressing it to your entire face. Get ready to invest in a Bluetooth headset if you want to take phone calls on your phablet. It's heavier — Stating the obvious here: a phone with a bigger display isn't going to be as lightweight as a smaller phone, even if it is thinner, like the iPhone 6. It'll mean an extra ounce in your already heavy bag or backpack.

Is the Nexus 6 screen size too big to manage?

Nope. I had a N95 back in the day, then moved to iPhone. That was the biggest positive change in mobile experience I have had, even after moving to Android later. After a couple of Androids, I've just moved to Nexus 6, and I have to say it's the same sort of feeling again... A bit like moving from Nokia to Apple in 2006.The big screen is a fantastic real estate. You organise your screen better, you see more in any app, etc. But not only that... This phone is very fast! I'm going to sell my old phone and my Nexus 7 now, because this one can do the job for both. Important to say I have a big hand... It helps. The other thing I was curious before buying was the pocket size implications... No problem so far. Fits all my pockets.

Should i trade my ipad 3 for an iphone 5?

Depends from what you use it for. Ipads are more for sitting cozy on a cough or for when your computer is too big for you to travel with to say, Spain. Iphones are more like "everyday stuff", which could mean taking it with you to when you're going somewhere, and just can't stay away from minecraft for half an hour or when there is a oh so beautiful sunset on the beach. I'd recommend you to make a list of this you do (or would like to do) every week or day, and then consider if you can do it better with an ipad or iphone.
Plan B:
There are way better smartphones than the iphone 5 for a smaller price!(considering screen size, that is a fact!)
I could give you a list of 10 right away!
so if you can't deside, take the iphone and sell it (or trade it) for a better phablet (all smartphones with a screen bigger than 4 inches are considered a phablet)
hope I could help!
